Mayweather Patch is the Patch Program app for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. Train at the gym and finish the requirements on a patch, and you earn a digital badge in the app. If the badge comes with a physical patch, your gym team then gets it ready for your gloves.
The first time you open the app, the opening slide sums up the program in one line: "Progress you can wear."
Badge. The digital award in the app. You earn it when every requirement on a patch is done. Once you earn a badge, it's yours to keep.
Patch. The physical patch for your gloves. If a badge comes with one, a coach looks it over after you earn the badge and keeps it ready for you at the gym. They hand it to you in person, and then you confirm in the app that you have it. Once you earn a badge that has no physical patch, its page says so.
Requirements. Each patch lists what it takes. Some requirements count on their own, like the classes you attend. If a requirement has a Log a round button, you log it yourself. Skills need a coach to watch you in class and sign off.
Working set. The patches you're working on right now. You can only log rounds and ask for a sign-off on patches in your working set, and not while a patch is paused.
Belt. Your rank in the program. Earning patches moves you toward your next belt.
Your gym team. Your coaches sign off your skills, review your patches and hand them over. Your gym membership and billing stay with Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.
Find your way around
The app has four tabs along the bottom. Your profile and settings open from Home.

This guide is for Mayweather Patch, the app for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. If a screenshot comes from another gym's app, it's labeled with that app's name. The buttons and wording are the same.
Each gym has its own app, and each app has its own accounts. Your progress in Mayweather Patch won't show up in another gym's app.
To find an answer, type a question into Ask the guide at the bottom of any page. To browse, use the list of articles on the left. On a phone, tap Contents at the top of the page to open the list.
The Patch Program turns your training at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness into patches you earn and belts you climb. This page explains the rules the Mayweather Patch app follows. Once you know them, every other screen makes sense.
The short version
Every patch has a list of requirements.
Finish the last requirement and the patch's digital badge is yours on the spot.
If the badge comes with a physical patch, your coach gets it ready and you collect it at the gym.
Earn everything your next belt needs and you move up a belt.
Badge first, patch second
Earning a patch happens in two parts, and they run separately.
The badge is the digital award in the app. You earn it the moment you complete the last requirement. It counts toward your belt right away and shows in your Locker with the date you earned it.
The physical patch is the real one for your gloves. It comes after the badge. Your coach checks it over, gets it ready and hands it to you, and then you confirm you have it. The badge never waits for any of this.
The "Your patch" section on an earned patch's page tells you where your physical patch is.
What you see
What it means
"Patch: coach reviewing"
Your coach looks it over before it goes out. Your badge already counts.
"Patch: waiting with Coach"
It's ready. Collect it at your next class.
"Patch: handed over — confirm"
Your coach has given it to you. Tap I've got it to confirm.
"Patch received"
It's in your hands. Nothing more to do.
"Needs another look"
Your coach wants to see the skill once more before handing the patch over. Your badge stays earned.
If a badge has no physical patch, its page says so: "This is a digital badge. It counts toward your progress and has no physical patch to collect."
In the first, the badge is earned and already counts while your coach reviews the patch. In the second, the patch has been collected.
Who completes each requirement
Open any patch and you'll see its "Requirements" list. The icon at the start of each row tells you who finishes it. A finished row turns into a green check and its text is struck through.

You, with Log a round
Your gym's program can use a few other kinds, and the app also tracks them for you:
A flame counts weeks in a row where you trained often enough.
A clock counts your weeks as a member. It goes by the start date your gym has on record for you. Until the app has that date, it counts from the day you created your account.
A grid counts patches you've earned. Recognition patches, such as class milestones, don't count toward it unless the requirement says so.
A thumbs-up is one your coach gives, the same way they sign off a skill.
Under some rows you'll see a short label for the type of work, such as "Drill". When your coach has to check it, the label adds "Coach Signs Off".
Rows with a seal icon and "Coach Signs Off" wait for your coach. The checked rows are done.
Classes count automatically
You never log a class. Once your gym membership is connected to the app, the classes your gym records are counted for you. See Connect your gym membership if you haven't done that yet.
There is one class count, and every patch reads it. A class you attend counts toward every class requirement in the program at the same time. It doesn't matter whether you've started the patch yet. A patch you haven't touched can already show its class requirement ticked off.
Home shows this number as "Program classes". Your gym's attendance records can take a while to reach the app, so a class from today may not appear straight away. Train: your classes shows how up to date your attendance is.
A patch this sample member hasn't started already has its class requirement done. Home shows the same class count under "Program classes".
Coach sign-offs
Some skills can only be judged by a coach watching you. Those rows carry the seal icon, and you can't tick them yourself.
Here's how a sign-off works:
Show the skill in class.
On the patch's page, tap Ask coach to sign off, add a note if you like, and tap Send to coach.
Your coach decides. One request covers every coach requirement on that patch. When your coach approves it, all of them tick at once. If nothing else is left, you earn the badge right then.
Sending the request doesn't complete anything on its own. If your coach isn't ready to sign off, the patch shows "Sent back" with their reasons and any note they wrote. Put in more practice, then tap Ask again.
A few limits apply. The patch has to be in your working set. You can only have one request waiting per patch. The button only appears while the patch still has a coach requirement open.
The card at the bottom of a patch tells you how many requirements still need a coach.
Rows with a pencil icon are drills you do on your own time or in class. After you finish one, tap Log a round on that row. Each tap adds one. When a drill needs more than one, the row shows how many you've logged against the target.
The Log a round button only appears on patches in your working set. If you don't see it, start working on the patch, or resume it if it's paused. Log a round only after you've done it.
Drills you log yourself have a pencil icon and a Log a round button.
Some patches wait until you've done something else first. The line under the patch name tells you what.
What you see
What it means
"Comes after" and a patch name
Your gym's program runs in order. Earn the earlier patch first. Classes you attend still count toward this one, and if everything else is already done, you earn it the moment the earlier patch lands.
"Unlocks at" and a belt name
The patch belongs to a higher belt. You can work one belt ahead of the belt you hold.
Belts
Belts show how far you've come. Tap the belt card on Home to open the Your belt screen. It shows the belt you hold, what your next belt takes and the ladder of belts.
In the sample program shown in this guide, the ladder works like this. Your gym's belts, and what each one takes, may differ.
New Member. Where everyone starts, before the first belt. Until you earn Contender, the belt card on Home labels Contender "First belt", and the Your belt screen says "Your first belt. Earn the opening patches."
Contender. Your first belt. You earn it by finishing the opening patches on your path.
Challenger. The next belt. You earn it by finishing every patch on the path after Contender.
Warrior, Elite, Icon and Legend. These show "Coming soon — this part of the program is being authored". Nobody can earn them until that part of the program is ready.
You move up one belt at a time, and a belt you hold stays yours. When a belt takes only patches, the Your belt screen says "Your belt is awarded when every patch on the path is earned." The belt arrives on its own when you earn the last of those patches, so you don't need to ask anyone for it.
If a belt at your gym also needs a test with your coach, the Your belt screen says so. When everything else is done, it says "Test eligible. Ask your coach to schedule it."
"Next" shows how many patches stand between you and your next belt. See patches on your path opens your Journey to show which ones.
Belts higher up the ladder show "Coming soon" until your gym's program adds them.
In programs that have them, some patches are named after your gym's core values. On a core-value patch's page, the line above the patch name starts with "Core values". You earn one the same way as any other patch: finish every requirement on its list.
The sample program in this guide opens with three core-value patches, starting with Belong, and each one comes after the one before it. That's only an example. Your gym's program decides whether it has core-value patches, what they're called, where they sit on the path and what each one takes.
In the sample program, the core-value patches open the trail on the Journey.
Your working set
You pick the patches you want to work on. Those patches are your working set. In the sample program you can have up to five active at once. The Choose a patch screen shows how many slots you're using out of your gym's limit, for example "3 of 5 in your working set".
Paused and earned patches don't take up a slot.
Pausing keeps your progress. The app puts it this way: "Paused — nothing is lost."
When every slot is full, swap a patch out or pause one to make room. A swap pauses the old patch and starts the new one in one step.
Logging rounds and asking for a sign-off only work on patches in your working set.
Classes count toward every patch, in your set or not.
When you earn a patch, it leaves your working set on its own and frees the slot.
Choose a patch shows how many slots are in use and what state each patch is in.
Some patches mark how far you've come rather than a skill. Class milestones are the main example. Their page shows "Recognition" above the name.
You don't choose these. They aren't listed on Choose a patch, and they never go in your working set. They count up on their own as your class count grows. You earn each one when you reach its number, unless its page says "Comes after" another patch. In that case it arrives once that patch is earned.
A class milestone counts up on its own. This sample member is at 103 of 200.
When you earn something
Every new badge gets a full-screen celebration, and so does a new belt that arrives while the app is running. Each celebration plays once. Tap Continue when you're done. If your coach signed something off, or your gym's attendance finished a patch while the app was closed, that patch's celebration plays the next time you open the app. See Celebrations.
The Patch Program lives in your gym's own app. This article takes you from the download to your first sign-in. You only need to do it once.
Get your gym's app
Each gym brand has its own app. The one for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is Mayweather Patch.
On iPhone, search the App Store for Mayweather Patch. On Android, search Google Play. Install it, then open it.
Each app has its own accounts. If you sign in to another brand's app, even with the same email or Apple Account, you get a separate account with none of your progress.
Coaches and gym staff use the same app and the same sign-in screen, and the app opens the coach side for their accounts.
First launch: the welcome slides
1
Open Mayweather Patch. Three short slides explain what you earn, how belt ranks work and who signs off your skills.
The first slide: finish a patch's requirements and your gym team gets the real patch ready for your gloves.
2
Swipe left, or tap Next, to move through the slides. Tap Skip to go straight to sign-in.
The second slide introduces the belt ranks, and your gym's program sets what each belt takes.
3
On the last slide, tap Get started. If you already have an account, tap Already a member? Sign in. Both open the same sign-in screen.
The last slide covers who signs off your skills and arranges your patch pickup.
The slides appear when you first open the app after installing it. Once you've tapped past them, the app opens on the sign-in screen whenever you're signed out. You can't replay the slides from inside the app.
Choose how to sign in
The sign-in screen says "Sign in with the account you already use. We'll match it to your gym membership next." New members and returning members use the same buttons. The first time you sign in with Apple or Google, the app creates your account.
On iPhone you can sign in with Apple, with Google or with an email address and password.

The links at the bottom of the screen (Privacy policy, Help & support and Account deletion) open in your browser. You can read them before you create an account. See Contact, privacy and support.
Sign in with Apple
1
Tap Sign in with Apple. A spinner shows on the button while Apple's sign-in sheet opens.
2
Confirm it's you when Apple asks, for example with Face ID. The first time, Apple lets you edit your name and choose Share My Email or Hide My Email.
3
If this is a new account, the app asks you to confirm your age. Tap I’m 13 or older.
4
Wait while the app loads your account. It moves on by itself when it's ready.
Apple only shares your name the first time you use Sign in with Apple with the app. If Apple doesn't share it, the app takes a first name from your email address or calls you "Member". You can change your name in your profile.
Sign in with Google
This option is on iPhone only.
1
Tap Sign in with Google.
2
Choose the Google account you want to use. Google asks every time, so you can pick a different account.
3
If this is a new account, the app asks you to confirm your age. Tap I’m 13 or older.
4
Wait while the app loads your account. It moves on by itself when it's ready.
If you see "You already have an account with this email. Use your original email or Apple sign-in to keep your progress.", that email address already has a Mayweather Patch account created with Apple or with email and a password. Sign in that way instead, so you keep your progress.
Create an account with email
1
On the sign-in screen, tap Use email instead (iPhone) or Continue with email (Android). The "Welcome back" form opens. This form is for accounts that already exist.
If you're new, tap Create account under the Sign in button.
2
Tap Create account. The heading changes to "Create your account".
The sign-up form asks for your email, a password and your age confirmation, but not your name.
3
Enter your email address. Then choose a password of at least 10 characters.
4
Tap I’m 13 or older. The empty circle turns into a green check.
Once the green check appears, you've confirmed you're 13 or older.
5
Tap Create account. The app emails you a 6-digit code and opens "Check your email".
Password rules. Your password needs at least 10 characters. Nothing else is required. Letters, numbers and symbols all work.
Your name. The email form doesn't ask for a name. The app uses the first part of your email address. For example, jane.doe@… becomes "Jane". If that doesn't work as a name, the app calls you "Member". You can change it in your profile.
If something is missing or wrong, a red line appears above the Create account button:
Message
What to do
"Enter an email address."
Check that your email address includes the @.
"Choose a password of at least 10 characters."
Make your password longer.
"Confirm you’re 13 or older to create an account."
Tap I’m 13 or older so it shows a green check.
"An account already uses that email"
You already have an email account in Mayweather Patch. Tap Sign in instead, or Forgot password if you need a new password.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
There have been too many attempts or code emails recently. Wait a while (up to an hour), then try again.
"The verification email could not be sent; try again"
Wait a moment, then tap Create account again.
A message that starts "Can’t reach the server"
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then try again.
To go back to the Apple and Google buttons, tap Other ways to sign in.
Enter your 6-digit code
"Check your email" shows the address the code went to, and the resend button unlocks when its countdown ends.
1
Open your email and find the newest message with your code. The subject line starts with the 6 digits. See The code email below.
2
Type the code in the "Verification code" box. On iPhone, the code may appear above the keyboard, ready to tap.
3
When you enter the sixth digit, the app checks the code straight away. You can also tap Verify email.
4
Once the code is accepted, your account is created and you're signed in.
Good to know about the code:
It lasts 10 minutes and works once. After 10 minutes, Verify email turns off and you need a new code.
You can ask for a new one. The gray button counts down, for example "Resend in 48s". After 60 seconds it changes to Resend code. You can resend up to 3 times.
Only the newest code works. A new code replaces the old one, so use the latest email.
Wrong address? Tap Change email to cancel the code and go back to the form. Fix the address, enter your password again and tap Create account.
Closed the app? If you close the app before entering the code, it opens on "Check your email" next time, as long as the code hasn't expired.
Back doesn't cancel the code. If you tap Back at the top of the screen, the code keeps waiting. Each time you open the app after closing it, it goes back to "Check your email" until the code expires. To cancel the code, tap Change email instead.
No email? The screen reminds you: "If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder. Only the newest code works."
You might also see this screen when you sign in with email, if your email address hasn't been confirmed yet. It works the same way.
Once the code has expired, Verify email turns off and Resend code is ready to tap.
The code email
The subject line starts with your code, then names the app.
An example subject line: "123456 is your Mayweather Patch verification code".
The email itself is short. It says "Use this code to verify your email:", shows the 6 digits, and ends with "If you did not request this, you can ignore this email."
It also tells you when the code expires, for example "It works once and expires at 2026-09-16T18:10:00.000Z (10 minutes after it was sent)." That time is in UTC, which is what the "Z" at the end means, so it may not match the clock on your phone. The easy way to read it: the code stops working 10 minutes after the email was sent.
What you'll see
On screen
What it means
What to do
"Resend in 48s" (grayed out)
A code was sent less than a minute ago.
Check your email. You can ask for another code when the countdown ends.
Resend code
You can ask for a new code.
Tap it if the email hasn't arrived.
"That verification code is no longer valid; request a new one"
The code is wrong, already used, expired or replaced by a newer one. Too many wrong tries cause it too.
Check the digits against your newest email and try again. If it still fails, tap Resend code.
"This code has expired. Request a new one below."
More than 10 minutes have passed.
Tap Resend code and use the new code.
"Wait before asking for another code"
You asked for a new code before the one-minute wait was over.
Wait until a minute has passed since the last code, then tap Resend code again.
"No more codes can be sent for this verification"
You've used all 3 resends.
To start over, tap Change email, enter your password again and tap Create account.
"An account already uses that email"
A sign-up with this email address was already completed in Mayweather Patch, for example on another phone.
Tap Change email to go back, then tap Sign in and use that address. Tap Forgot password if you need a new password.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
There have been too many tries or code emails in a short time.
Wait a while (up to an hour), then try again.
"Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
The app couldn't connect.
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then try again.
"Email verified" with Go to sign in
Your account is ready, but your phone couldn't save your sign-in.
Tap Go to sign in and sign in with your email and password.
"Verify your email" with Continue
The app no longer has a code waiting for you.
Tap Continue, then start again from the sign-in screen.
You closed the Apple or Google sheet. Nothing happens and no account is created. Tap the button again.
You tapped Cancel on "Confirm your age". You'll see "You must be 13 or older to use this app. Confirm your age to continue." No account is created, because accounts are for people 13 or older. If you are, tap the Apple or Google button again and choose I’m 13 or older.
Apple doesn't respond. After about 45 seconds, the app opens the email form with a note, so you aren't stuck. Tap Other ways to sign in and try Apple again, or use email.
"Google didn’t respond. Close its sign-in window and try again, or use email." Close the Google window, then tap Sign in with Google again.
"Finish or close the Google sign-in window before trying again." A Google window is still open. Finish or close it first.
"Google sign-in couldn’t finish. Try again, or use email." Try again in a moment.
"That provider did not share an email — try another way in." Apple didn't give the app an email address, and a new account needs one. Create an account with email instead.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again." There were too many sign-in attempts in a short time. Wait up to 15 minutes, then try again.
After you sign in, the button keeps spinning while the app loads your account. Then it moves on by itself:

On "Find your gym", pick your gym and connect your membership. You can also tap Explore the app for now and connect later. Until you connect, Home shows a "Connect your gym" card that says "Your classes are not counting yet." Follow Connect your gym membership for the next steps.
After you sign in, your phone may ask whether Mayweather Patch can send you notifications. See Notifications to decide.
You can create an account at any time and look around with Explore the app for now. Your classes only count toward patches once you connect your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness membership.
Any of them. Pick the one you'll remember, and use the same one every time. On Android, sign in with email.
No. Each app has its own accounts, even if you use the same email address or Apple Account.
Accounts are only for people 13 or older. The app asks once, when your account is created. Email sign-up uses the I’m 13 or older box. A first Apple or Google sign-in asks in a pop-up.
Signing in tells Mayweather Patch who you are. Connecting your gym membership tells it where you train, so your check-ins count toward your patches and your gym team can see your progress. You only do this once, and there are three ways to do it.
Why connecting matters
Until you connect, the app can't see your classes. Home tells you so: "Your classes are not counting yet."
Once you're connected:
Classes you check in to at the gym count toward your patches.
Your recorded classes appear in Train and on your activity calendar after your gym's attendance syncs.
Your gym team can see your progress, review your requests and get your patches ready.
Pick the way that suits you
Way
Use it when
Find your gym
You know the email address your gym has on file for you. If it isn't the email you sign in with, you'll need to open that inbox for a code.
Connect with staff
You're at the gym, or the app can't find your membership.
Accept an invitation
Your gym emailed you an invitation to join.
When you sign in and your account isn't connected to a gym yet, the app takes you straight to connecting. If your gym has emailed you an invitation and you opened it, the app shows the invitation instead. See Accept an emailed invitation.
First, the app tries to find you by itself. You see "Finding your membership" and "Checking your gym network for" followed by the email you signed in with. It connects you automatically when that email matches exactly one membership, the membership is active, and its gym is on the program. Then you see "You’re connected" and a See my progress button.
If it can't match you, the app opens "Find your gym" with a short note that explains why. To stop waiting, tap Connect manually instead.
The automatic check runs once each time you start the app. If you come back to the screen before you close the app, it goes straight to the "Find your gym" form.
Connect with Find your gym
1
Under "Your gym", tap your gym. A tick shows which one is chosen. If only one gym is listed, or the app already knows your gym, it's chosen for you.
Choose your gym, check the email your gym has for you, then tap Connect membership.
2
Check the address in "Email on your gym membership". The app fills in the email you signed in with. If your gym has a different email for you, type that one instead. As the app says: "It can be different from the email you use to sign in."
3
Tap Connect membership. The button stays dimmed until you've chosen a gym and entered an email address.
4
If exactly one membership at your gym uses that email, and that membership is active, the app connects you and opens Home. There's no extra step to confirm.
5
If the email you entered isn't confirmed on your account yet, the app sends a 6-digit code to that address and opens "Check your email". Follow the steps in the next section.
You won't normally need a code for the email you signed in with, because it was confirmed when you signed in.
"No gyms are available right now. Try again, or return when your gym has opened registration."
The app couldn't load any gyms. Tap Try again.
A spinner on Connect membership
The app is looking up your membership. Wait for it to finish.
A red line under the description
Connecting didn't work. The red line gives the reason.
"Your email is verified. Try connecting again, or ask staff to help find your membership."
You confirmed a new email, but the app still couldn't connect you. Tap Connect membership again to see why.
"You’re connected"
You're done. Tap See my progress.
Confirm a different email
Using a different gym email doesn't change the email you sign in with. The code only proves that inbox is yours.
1
Open the verification email in that inbox and find the 6-digit code. If it hasn't arrived, check your spam folder.
Check your email: type the 6-digit code, and wait for the countdown before asking for another one.
2
Type the code in "Verification code". The app checks it when you enter the sixth digit, or you can tap Verify email.
3
The app tries to connect you again straight away. If it works, you land on Home.
4
If it still can't connect you, you're back on "Find your gym" with your gym and the new email filled in. Tap Connect membership to see the reason, or use Connect with staff.
A few things to know about codes:
Each code works for 10 minutes. After that, the screen says "This code has expired. Request a new one below."
Resend code shows a countdown ("Resend in 48s") before you can tap it. A new code gets a fresh 10 minutes, and only the newest code works. You can ask for a new code up to three times.
To fix a typo in the address, tap Change email. It takes you back so you can type it again.
If you close the app while a code is waiting, the app reopens on "Check your email" until that code expires.
When a code expires, Verify email stops working and Resend code becomes available.
If a code doesn't work, a red line on "Check your email" explains why:
Red line
What to do
"That verification code is no longer valid; request a new one"
The code was mistyped, has expired or was already used, or a wrong code was entered too many times. Check the digits and try again. If it still fails, tap Resend code and use the newest code.
"No more codes can be sent for this verification"
Tap Change email to go back. Then tap Connect membership again, or Send verification code on an invitation, to start over with a new code.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
Wait a while, then try again.
Connect with staff at the gym
If you're at the gym, or the app can't find your membership, a staff member can connect you in person.
1
On "Find your gym", choose your gym, then tap Connect with staff. The button works only after you've chosen a gym.
2
The app shows "Show this to staff" with a QR code. The screen says: "Ask your gym team to open Add member and scan your code."
Staff can scan the QR code or type the 8-character code under it, and the countdown shows how long the code has left.
3
If scanning doesn't work, read out the 8-character code under "Or ask staff to enter this code".
4
Staff find your membership and check the details with you before they connect it.
5
Stay on this screen until they finish. It checks for updates about every 20 seconds. To check now, tap Check connection.
6
When the screen changes to "You’re connected", tap See my progress.
Each code lasts 10 minutes, and "Expires in" counts down under it. When time runs out, you see "Your code expired. Create a fresh one when staff are ready." Tap Get a new code when staff are ready. A new code replaces your old one.
If staff say your code isn't working, tap Back, then tap Connect with staff again for a fresh code.
What you'll see on Show this to staff
On screen
What it means
A spinner under the description
The app is creating your code.
A QR code, an 8-character code and "Expires in"
Your code is ready. Show it to staff.
"Your code expired. Create a fresh one when staff are ready."
Your 10 minutes are up. Tap Get a new code when staff are ready.
A red line and Get a new code
The app couldn't create a code. The red line says why. See the table below.
"You’re connected"
You're connected. See what the message means below.
"Connect with staff", "Sign in and choose your gym to create a connection code." and Choose my gym
The app doesn't know which gym you chose, or you aren't signed in to your member account. Tap Choose my gym to open the connect screen. If it asks you to sign in with your member account, tap Sign in first. Then choose your gym and tap Connect with staff again.
If the app can't create a code, one of these red lines appears:
Red line
What to do
"Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then tap Get a new code.
"This account is already connected to a membership"
Your account is already linked to a gym membership, so you don't need a code. Tap Check connection. The screen should change to "You’re connected".
"No such gym"
The gym you chose isn't available in the app right now. Ask your front desk.
"You’re connected" can say one of two things:
Message
What it means
"Your gym team has connected your membership. Your classes and patch requests now have a home."
You're fully connected. Your check-ins will count.
"You’re on your gym’s roster and can request coach sign-offs. Staff can link ClubReady later to sync your classes."
Your gym team can email you an invitation. It works once and expires 24 hours after it was sent. If your gym sends it again, only the newest email works.
The invitation email
The subject reads "[your gym's name] invited you to join Patch Program". The subject and the email itself say "Patch Program" whichever gym you train at.
The first line tells you what kind of invitation it is:
First line of the email
What accepting does
"[your gym's name] invited you to connect your membership to Patch Program."
Your gym team found your gym membership. Accepting links it, so your check-ins count.
"[your gym's name] invited you to join Patch Program."
Your gym team typed in your details. Accepting puts you on your gym's roster, but it doesn't link your gym membership yet. See If You says Connect attendance.
Under the link, the email says "This link works once and expires at", followed by a date and time. The time is in UTC, not your local time. It's written like 2026-09-17T18:30:00.000Z, where the part after the T is the time. The email ends: "Sign in with this email, or verify it as your alternate gym email, before accepting." That means the address the email came to has to be confirmed on your account. If you sign in with a different email, see If the invitation went to a different email.
Accept the invitation
1
Open the email from your gym and tap the link. A web page opens that says "Your gym invited you." It shows your gym's name and part of the email address the invitation was sent to.
Under the main button, the page may show Download for iPhone and Download for Android, which open the app's store page. If it says "Need the app? Ask your gym for its current download or testing link." instead, ask your gym team where to get Mayweather Patch. At the bottom, the page says: "If you install the app now, return to this email and open the invitation again. Sign in, verify the email your gym uses, then accept the connection."
The invitation page names your gym and shows part of the invited email address, with a button that opens your app.
2
Tap the dark button on that page. It reads Open Mayweather Patch. Your app opens on "Your gym invited you". It shows "Checking your invitation…" for a moment, then your gym's name and "Invitation for" with part of the email address.
3
If you're not signed in, tap Continue to sign in. Sign in, or create your member account. The app keeps your invitation and brings you back to it afterwards.
Signed out, you see the gym, a hint of the invited email and Continue to sign in.
4
Tap Accept invitation.
Check the gym name, then tap Accept invitation.
5
When you see "Welcome to your gym", tap See my progress.
Welcome to your gym means your invitation was accepted.
Some invitations add you to your gym's roster without linking your gym membership. If You shows Connect attendance after you accept, see If You says Connect attendance.
If the invitation went to a different email
The invitation has to go to an email address that's confirmed on your account. If it went to another address, tapping Accept invitation opens a field called "Email that received the invitation".
1
Type the exact address the invitation was sent to. As a hint, the "Invitation for" line shows its first two characters and everything after the @.
2
Tap Send verification code. As the screen says: "Verify this address to accept. Your sign-in email will stay the same."
3
Enter the 6-digit code on "Check your email". The app takes you back to the invitation.
4
Tap Accept invitation again.

The app is checking the invitation. Wait a moment.
Your gym's name, "Invitation for" and Continue to sign in
You're signed out. Sign in or create your member account, and the app brings you back here.
Your gym's name, "Invitation for" and Accept invitation
The invitation is ready to accept.
"Email that received the invitation" and Send verification code
"Open the invitation from your email again. If it has expired, ask your gym to resend it."
The app opened without the invitation. Tap the link in the email again.
A red line, then "Ask your gym for a fresh invitation, or try opening this one again." and Try again
The app couldn't check this invitation, and the red line says why. If it says "This invite is invalid or expired", ask your gym team for a new invitation. Otherwise, tap Try again.
"This invitation belongs to another brand. Open the invitation email and use its app link to continue."
The invitation is for a different gym brand's app. Go back to the email and use the button on the invitation page, which opens the right app.
"Welcome to your gym"
You've accepted. Tap See my progress.
If the app opens without your invitation, go back to the email and tap the link again.
If Accept invitation doesn't work
A red line under the description explains why:
Red line
What to do
"This invite is invalid or expired", "This invitation was already used" or "This link is expired, revoked or already used"
The invitation can't be used any more. It may have expired, been replaced by a newer one, been canceled, or been accepted already. Ask your gym team to send a new one.
"This invitation is incomplete; ask your gym for a new one"
Ask your gym team to send a new invitation.
"The ClubReady record changed; ask your gym for a new invite"
The email on your gym membership changed after the invitation was sent. Ask your gym team to send a new invitation.
"This ClubReady record has no email address"
Your gym membership has no email on file. Ask your front desk to add one and send you a new invitation.
"That ClubReady membership is not active"
Talk to your front desk.
"This account is already connected to a membership"
Your account is already linked to a gym membership, so it can't take this one. Your gym's name shows under your name at the top of You. If that isn't right, contact support.
"That membership is already connected to another account"
You may have made another Mayweather Patch account before, perhaps with a different sign-in method. Sign out and sign in with that account instead. If that isn't it, contact support.
"This member already belongs to another gym"
Your account already belongs to a different gym, and you can't change gyms in the app. If you expected this invitation, contact support.
"This gym is not connected to ClubReady", "ClubReady is not configured for this gym chain", "Could not finish the ClubReady lookup" or "Something went wrong"
The app couldn't check your gym membership just now. Tap Accept invitation again later. If it keeps happening, ask your front desk.
"Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then tap Accept invitation again.
Invitation tips
Don't have the app yet? Install Mayweather Patch first, from the download buttons on the invitation page if it shows them. Then go back to the email and open the invitation again. Installing the app doesn't carry the invitation over.
The web page says "This invitation is no longer active." The link has expired, a newer invitation replaced it, or it has already been used. Ask your gym team to send a new one.
If you close the app before you accept, it opens the invitation again the next time you open the app. Signing out clears it.
A used, replaced or expired link opens this page instead. Ask your gym team for a new invitation.
Explore the app for now
Not ready to connect? On "Find your gym", tap Explore the app for now. You go to Home and can look around. Your classes won't count until you connect, and the app keeps reminding you.
Reminders until you connect
Until you connect, these reminders appear. Each one takes you to the connect screen.
Where
What you see
Home
A card under your greeting: "Connect your gym" and "Your classes are not counting yet."
Train
"Connect your gym to bring your class attendance into the program." and a Connect your gym button.
Activity calendar
"Connect your gym", "Link your membership to bring completed classes into this calendar." and a Connect your gym button.
You (tap your avatar at the top right of Home)
Under "Your gym", a Connect your gym row that says "Choose your gym so classes can count". Near the bottom: "Gym not connected — your classes are not counting yet".
Until you connect, Home, Train and the activity calendar each point you to Connect your gym.
On You, the Your gym row opens the same connect screen.
The reminders appear once the app has loaded your account. If you land on Home right after signing in and don't see one yet, pull down on Home to refresh.
Once you're fully connected, the "Your gym" section disappears from You. The bottom of the page shows when your attendance last updated instead.
If You says Connect attendance
If your gym added you to its roster without linking your gym membership, your gym team can see you, but your check-ins aren't syncing yet. You'll notice:
On You, the row reads Connect attendance, with your gym's name and "ClubReady not synced" under it.
At the bottom of You: your gym's name and "ClubReady attendance not connected".
On Train: "Saved and staff-recorded classes are shown. ClubReady check-ins are not syncing."
There's no reminder card on Home.
Connect attendance and "ClubReady not synced" mean you're on your gym's roster, but your check-ins aren't syncing yet.
To fix it, tap Connect attendance. The app may first look for your membership by itself, as it does right after you sign in. If it can't connect you, "Find your gym" opens with your gym already chosen. Enter the email on your gym membership, and tap Connect membership.
If Connect membership doesn't work, ask your front desk to find your gym membership and email you an invitation. That email says "invited you to connect your membership to Patch Program". Accepting it as described in Accept an emailed invitation links your gym membership.
After the automatic check, you may see one of these notes on "Find your gym":
Note
What to do
"We couldn’t find a membership under [your email]. If your gym uses a different email, enter it below — or ask staff at the front desk to connect you."
Enter the email your gym has on file and tap Connect membership. This can happen if you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email. Or use Connect with staff.
"More than one membership uses your email, so we couldn’t connect you automatically. Staff at the front desk can link the right one."
Use Connect with staff.
"We found your membership, but your club isn’t on the Patch Program yet. Ask your front desk about joining."
Ask your front desk.
"We found your membership but couldn’t confirm which club it belongs to. Pick your gym below and connect, or ask staff."
Choose your gym and tap Connect membership, or use Connect with staff.
"Your gym membership isn’t active right now. Your front desk can help."
Talk to your front desk.
"We couldn’t connect you automatically. Try below, or ask staff at the front desk."
Use the form, or use Connect with staff.
If Connect membership doesn't work, a red line explains why:
Red line
What to do
"No membership at this gym uses that email"
Check that you chose the right gym. Then try the exact email your gym has on file, or use Connect with staff.
"More than one membership at this gym uses that email"
Use Connect with staff so staff can pick the right one.
"That ClubReady membership is not active"
Talk to your front desk.
"That membership is already connected to another account"
You may have made another Mayweather Patch account before, perhaps with a different sign-in method. Sign out and sign in with that account instead. If that isn't it, contact support.
"This member already belongs to another gym"
Your account already belongs to a different gym. If you chose the wrong gym, choose your own and try again. You can't change gyms in the app. If your gym has changed, contact support.
"This gym is not connected to ClubReady" or "ClubReady is not configured for this gym chain"
Your gym can't find memberships through the app yet. Ask your front desk. Staff can still add you to the gym's roster in person with Connect with staff.
"Could not finish the ClubReady lookup"
The app couldn't finish checking your gym's records. Try again later, or use Connect with staff.
"No such gym" or "That gym belongs to a different brand"
The gym you chose isn't available in Mayweather Patch right now. Ask your front desk.
"Your account changed. Open this screen again."
Your sign-in changed while the app was connecting. Go back, then open the connect screen again.
"Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then try again.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
Too many codes or attempts in a short time. Wait a while, then try again.
"Something went wrong" or "Something went wrong. Please try again."
Tap Connect membership again. If it keeps happening, use Connect with staff.
If your gym isn't in the list, it may not be on the program yet. Ask your front desk.
Good to know
No. A gym email you confirm is only used to connect your membership. You keep signing in the same way.
It can. When the app links your gym membership, it changes your name only if the app has been calling you "Member". Then it uses the name your gym has on file. You can change your name at any time on You. See Your profile and settings.
If the email says "invited you to join Patch Program", your gym team typed in your details. Accepting it sets your first and last name in the app to what they entered. It also sets the phone number your gym team sees for you to the one they entered. If they left the phone blank, any phone number your gym team could see for you is removed. You can change your name afterwards on You.
Linking your gym membership can bring in the date you joined your gym. If your gym's program has patches for time as a member, connecting can complete one straight away.
Not in the app. Once you're connected, You has no option to change or remove your gym. If your gym has changed, contact support.
No. The app doesn't send a notification to say you're connected. Keep "Show this to staff" open and watch for "You’re connected", or tap Check connection.
When you're signed out, Mayweather Patch opens on the sign-in screen. Sign in the same way you did when you created your account, and your progress will be there. This article also covers what the sign-in notices mean and how to reset a forgotten password.
Sign back in
1
Open Mayweather Patch.
The first time you open the app, a few welcome screens come first. After that, the app opens straight on the sign-in screen whenever you're signed out.
On iPhone you can sign in with Apple, with Google or with email.
2
Choose the option you used when you created your account.
Sign in with Apple: confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
Sign in with Google: pick the Google account you used before. Google asks you to choose an account every time.
Email: tap Use email instead. The "Welcome back" form opens.
3
If you use email, enter your email and password, then tap Sign in.
To go back to the other sign-in options, tap Other ways to sign in.
The email form has links to create an account or reset your password.
4
Wait while your progress loads.
The button shows a spinner, and the sign-in screen stays up until your information is ready. Then Home opens. If your account isn't connected to a gym yet, the app takes you to connect your gym instead. See Connect your gym membership.
On Android, the sign-in screen has one button, Continue with email. It opens the same email form.
Messages on the email form
Messages appear in red above the Sign in button.
Message
What it means
What to do
"Enter your email and password."
One of the fields is empty.
Fill in both, then tap Sign in.
"email" must be an email address
The form only checks that both boxes are filled in, so an address with no @ sign goes through and comes back with this message.
Check the email address, including the @ sign, then tap Sign in again.
"Email or password is incorrect."
The password is wrong, or this app has no email account for that address. You also see this if you signed up with Apple or Google, or if you started creating an account but never entered the 6-digit code.
Check the spelling. Tap Forgot password to set a new one. If you joined with Apple or Google, tap Other ways to sign in and use that button. If you never finished signing up, see Download the app and create your account.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
There were too many attempts in a short time.
Wait 15 minutes, then try again. If the message comes back, wait up to an hour.
A message that starts "Can’t reach the server"
The app couldn't connect.
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data and try again.
The "Check your email" screen opens
Your account's email address hasn't been confirmed yet.
A sign-in lasts 30 days from the moment you sign in. Mayweather Patch keeps it in your phone's secure storage, so you don't have to sign in each time you open the app. After 30 days, you sign in again. Your progress is kept.
If you open the app after your sign-in has run out, you usually see "Your session expired — sign in again."
If the app was already open, you may see "Your session ended — sign in again." instead. It means the same thing here.
Signing out, resetting your password or deleting your account ends a sign-in early.
This message appears in the same banner at the top of the app, in place of the text shown here.
Sometimes a card above the buttons tells you why you're on the sign-in screen. The card goes away once you leave the screen.
A notice card sits above the sign-in buttons and explains why you were signed out.
Notice
Why you see it
What to do
"Your session ended — sign in again."
This phone's sign-in is no longer accepted. For example, after you reset your password, your other phones show this the next time the app connects.
Your account's email address hasn't been confirmed.
Sign in with your email and password, then enter the 6-digit code the app emails you.
"This account belongs to another brand. Open that brand’s app to continue."
The account you used belongs to another gym's app.
Open the app for the gym where you created the account.
"Your Patch Program account has been deleted." followed by a note about your gym membership
You deleted your account. If you used Sign in with Apple, the notice can also tell you how to remove Mayweather Patch from Sign in with Apple in your iPhone's Settings.
"The saved sign-in could not be removed. You are signed out on this device."
Your phone's secure storage had a problem while signing you out.
You're signed out. Sign in again when you're ready.
If you close the Apple or Google window without signing in, nothing happens and no message appears. Tap the button again when you're ready.
If Apple doesn't respond within about 45 seconds, the app stops waiting and opens the email form with a note that starts "Apple didn’t respond." If you joined with Apple, tap Other ways to sign in and tap Sign in with Apple again. The app ignores Apple's answer if it arrives after that point, so tap the button again even if Apple finishes in the background.
Other messages appear in red under the buttons:
Message
What to do
"Google didn’t respond. Close its sign-in window and try again, or use email."
Close the Google window, then tap Sign in with Google again.
"Finish or close the Google sign-in window before trying again."
A Google window is still open. Finish or close it first.
"Google sign-in couldn’t finish. Try again, or use email."
Try again. If it keeps failing and you have an email account, use that.
"You already have an account with this email. Use your original email or Apple sign-in to keep your progress."
You created your account with Apple or with email. Sign in that way.
"That provider did not share an email — try another way in."
Apple didn't give the app an email address, and a new account needs one. Sign in another way, such as with email.
"You must be 13 or older to use this app. Confirm your age to continue."
You tapped Cancel on "Confirm your age". Tap the button again if you meant to create an account.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
Wait at least 15 minutes, then try again.
"Your sign-in could not be saved securely. Please try signing in again."
Try again. If it keeps happening, close and reopen the app.
"The apple identity token could not be verified" or "The google identity token could not be verified"
Apple or Google finished, but the sign-in it returned couldn't be checked. Tap the button again. If it keeps happening, contact support. Only switch to another sign-in option if that's how you created your account.
"The apple account email is not verified" or "The google account email is not verified"
Apple or Google hasn't confirmed the email address on that account. Try again. If it keeps happening, contact support.
"Something went wrong. Try again."
Try again in a moment.
Reset a forgotten password
Password reset is only for accounts created with email. If you sign in with Apple or Google, you have no password to reset. Use that button instead.
1
On the sign-in screen, tap Use email instead, or Continue with email on Android.
2
Tap Forgot password.
The reset form asks only for your email address.
3
Enter the email you signed up with and tap Send reset link.
If the address has no @ sign, the app asks you to "Enter the email you signed up with."
4
Read the confirmation.
The app shows "Check your email" and says the link "works once and expires in 30 minutes." You see the same message whether or not there's an account for that address. That way, nobody can use this screen to find out who trains at your gym.
The confirmation repeats the address you typed, so you can check it for typos.
5
On the phone that has Mayweather Patch, open the email and tap the link.
The subject starts "Reset your" and ends "password". The name in the middle isn't always the app's name. See What the reset email looks like. The link opens Mayweather Patch on "Choose a new password".
6
Type a new password of at least 10 characters in both boxes, then tap Set new password.
Type the new password twice. It needs at least 10 characters.
7
When you see "Password changed", tap Sign in.
The app doesn't sign you in automatically. Tap Use email instead, or Continue with email on Android, and sign in with your email and new password.
What the reset email looks like
The email is plain text, with no logo or buttons. Its subject is "Reset your Mayweather Patch password", and its first line is "Someone asked to reset the password for this Mayweather Patch account."
Search your inbox for "Reset your" if you can't find it.
Under the first line is the link on its own line. Below the link is a line like this:
"The link works once and expires at 2026-09-16T18:42:00.000Z (30 minutes from when it was sent)."
That time is in UTC, not your local time. It reads year-month-day, then the time on a 24-hour clock after the "T". The "Z" at the end means UTC. For example, 18:42 UTC is 2:42 pm in New York in September. You don't need to work it out: the link stops working 30 minutes after the email was sent.
The email ends by saying that if you didn't ask for it, nothing has changed and you can ignore it. It also says your gym membership and billing aren't affected.
About the reset link
It works once, and it stops working 30 minutes after it was sent.
Open it on the phone that has Mayweather Patch installed. The link opens the app, not a web page, so it won't work on a computer.
It only works while you're signed out of the app. If you're signed in, the link opens the app but not the reset form. Sign out first, then tap the link again.
Each gym's app has its own reset links. A link from Mayweather Patch only opens Mayweather Patch.
If you asked for more than one link, use the most recent email.
Reset link problems
What you see
What to do
"This link is incomplete"
The link reached the app without its code, usually because only part of it was copied. Go back to the email and tap the link itself.
"That link has expired or has already been used. Ask for a new one."
Tap Back to sign in, then Use email instead (or Continue with email on Android) and Forgot password to get a fresh link.
"Choose a password of at least 10 characters."
Make the new password longer.
"Those two passwords don’t match."
Type the same password in both boxes.
"Can’t reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data and tap Set new password again.
"Something went wrong. Try again."
Try again in a moment. If the link has expired by then, ask for a new one.
Nothing happens when you tap the link
Make sure you're on the phone that has Mayweather Patch and that you're signed out of the app.
If the link arrives without its code, the app asks you to open it straight from the email.
The reset email didn't arrive
You signed up with Apple or Google. Those accounts have no password, so no email is sent. Sign in with the same button you used before.
The address was mistyped. The confirmation shows the address you entered. If it's wrong, tap Back to sign in and ask again.
It went to spam. Check your junk or spam folder.
You searched for the wrong name. The subject is "Reset your Mayweather Patch password". Search for "Reset your" instead.
You asked several times. After three requests in 15 minutes, no more reset emails are sent for a while, but the screen still says "Check your email". Wait 15 minutes before you ask again. If you've asked many times, including for sign-up codes, it can take up to an hour before another email is sent.
Your account was never finished. If you started creating an account but never entered the 6-digit code, the account doesn't exist yet. See Download the app and create your account.
Change your password
The app has no setting to change your password while you're signed in. To change it, sign out first: tap your initials at the top right of Home, then Sign out, and confirm with Sign out. Then follow Reset a forgotten password.
If you stop using Sign in with Apple for Mayweather Patch in your iPhone's Settings, the app may sign you out. If it does, you see the sign-in screen with no notice. To get back in, tap Sign in with Apple. Your account and progress are still there.
The links at the bottom of the sign-in screen, Privacy policy, Help & support and Account deletion, open in your web browser. You don't need an account to read them. See Contact, privacy and support.
Common questions
Those buttons are in the iPhone app. On Android, the sign-in screen shows Continue with email only. If Sign in with Apple isn't available on an Apple device, the app hides its button and shows Continue with email.
Nothing changed. Tap the button again.
Look for a notice on the sign-in screen. It tells you whether your session ended or expired. If there's no notice and you use Sign in with Apple, you may have turned off Sign in with Apple for Mayweather Patch in your iPhone's Settings. Either way, sign in again the way you did before. Your progress is kept.
30 days from when you signed in. After that, the app asks you to sign in again, and your progress is still there.
The time in the email is in UTC, not your local time. The link works for 30 minutes after the email was sent, so ask for a new one if more time has passed.
No. Each gym's app has its own accounts, even if you use the same email or Apple ID. Use the app for your gym.
Check that you used the same sign-in method as before and that you're in your gym's app. Signing in a different way can create a separate, empty account. If the app asked you to confirm your age, that's a sign it was about to create a new account.
Home is the first screen you see when you open Mayweather Patch. At the top is the patch to finish next. Below it are your training record, the rest of your working set, your belt and what happened lately. Almost every part of Home opens another screen with more detail. Some parts only appear when they apply, such as a card asking you to connect your gym, or a line when a physical patch is waiting for you.
A tour from top to bottom
1
The header. Your gym's name sits at the top left, with "Good to see you," and your first name under it. The circle at the top right shows your initials. Tap it to open You, where your profile and settings live.
The top of Home: your avatar at the top right, then the "Your next win" card with its percentage, what's left and the next requirement.
2
Your next win. The big card features one patch you're working on. It shows how much of the work you've done, what's left and the next requirement. Tap anywhere on the card to open the patch.
3
Your training record. Three numbers sit under the card: "Program classes" and "Weekly streak" open Train, and "Badges earned" opens your Locker.
The training record row, with "Also in progress" and its "1 paused" link below it.
4
Also in progress. Swipe sideways through the other patches in your working set. Tap a tile to open that patch. The last tile, Choose a patch, lets you add another one.
5
The bigger picture. The belt card shows the belt you hold, your next belt and how far away it is. Tap the card for your full belt progress, or tap Your journey to open the Journey tab.
The belt card shows how many patches you've earned toward your next belt and how many are left.
6
Recent activity. The last section lists your three newest events, such as a class you attended, rounds you logged or a coach sign-off. See all opens Train.
Each activity line shows what happened and when, with more detail underneath.
Your next win
The top card features one patch from your working set and tells you what's left to finish it. The Journey tab features the same patch.
Which patch leads
Home only picks from your active patches, so a paused patch is never your next win. Home features the active patch you're closest to finishing. If your gym's program marks some patches as filling a gap for your next belt, those come first.
Reading the card
Category. The top right corner names the patch's category, for example "Striking".
Percentage and "of the work done". This is an average across all the patch's requirements. A requirement you're partway through counts partly. For example, if one requirement asks for a number of classes and you've done half of them, that requirement counts as half done.
What's left. Under the percentage, a short line such as "3 to go" counts the requirements you haven't finished yet. It counts requirements, not classes.
The ring. The ring around the patch artwork fills as you make progress.
"Next requirement". This is the first requirement on the patch that isn't done yet. It disappears once every requirement is done.
Why this patch. A short line says why Home picked this patch. "Closest to done" means you're nearer to finishing it than any of your other active patches. If the patch fills a gap for your next belt, the line names that belt instead and turns your gym's color.
View requirements. This bar is part of the card. Tapping it, or anywhere else on the card, opens the patch's page. That's where you log rounds and ask a coach to sign off.
Awaiting coach and Sent back
If a patch needs a coach's sign-off, the "3 to go" line changes once you've asked. The same status also shows on that patch's tile in "Also in progress".
Left: "Awaiting coach" in amber after you ask for a sign-off. Right: "Sent back" in red after your coach asks to see more.
Status

What to do
"3 to go" (any number)
Requirements are still open
Open the patch and keep working through them
"Awaiting coach"
You've asked your coach to sign off, and they haven't decided yet
Show the skill in class. Your coach decides there
"Sent back"
Your coach wants to see more before signing off. Nothing is lost
Open the patch to read your coach's reasons and any note. Put in the reps, then tap Ask again
On an iPhone with notifications turned on, you get a notification when your coach approves your request or sends it back. See Notifications.
When nothing is active
If you have no active patches, the card invites you to start one. Its small heading reads "Your first step" if you haven't earned anything yet, or "Keep moving" if you have. The card then shows one of these:
A suggested next patch, with its name, a short description and View requirements. This is the first patch on your path that you haven't earned yet, and it can be one you've paused. Tap it to open that patch, where you can start working on it or resume it.
"Your journey continues" with Explore your path. Tap it to open your Journey.
"Choose a patch" with Explore your path. Tap it to pick a patch to work on.
The three numbers under the card each open the screen they come from.
Number
What it counts
Tap it to open
"Program classes"
Classes counted by the program since your gym attendance was connected. Classes from before that don't count
Train
"Badges earned"
How many different badges you've earned. Each badge counts once
Locker
"Weekly streak"
Weeks in a row with at least two recorded classes, shown as a number with a W, such as "41W"
Train
About the weekly streak:
The current week joins your streak once you reach two classes. A week that isn't over yet never breaks your streak.
The number turns your gym's color once you've trained at least once this week.
When a physical patch is waiting for you, a line appears between your training record and "Also in progress". Tap it to open your Locker. The line disappears once nothing is waiting.
Left: your coach has a patch ready for you. Right: your coach has handed a patch over, and the app wants you to confirm you got it.
The line says
What it means
What to do
"Your patch is ready — see Coach at your next class"
Your coach approved your patch, and it's waiting for you
Collect it at your next class
"2 patches ready — see Coach at your next class" (any number)
More than one patch is waiting
Collect them at your next class
"Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it"
Your coach has marked a patch as handed to you
Tap the line, open the patch in your Locker and tap I've got it
If one patch is ready to collect and another has been handed over, the line shows the ready message first. A patch your coach hasn't reviewed yet doesn't show here. To check where a patch is, open it and look at "Your patch". See Picking up your physical patches.
This row shows every other active patch in your working set. Each tile has a progress ring, the patch name and its status ("3 to go", "Awaiting coach" or "Sent back"). Tap a tile to open that patch.
The row's heading depends on what you're working on:
"Also in progress · 2" (any number) means the card above features one of your patches, and this many others are active.
"Working on · 1 of 5" (the numbers depend on your set) means the card above is your only active patch. The second number is how many patches your working set can hold.
1 paused (any number) appears on the right when you've paused any patches. Tap it to open Choose a patch, where you can resume them.
The last tile, Choose a patch, shows how many places in your working set you're using. Tap it to add a patch. If your set is already full when you pick one, the app asks which active patch to pause to make room. A paused patch keeps its progress. See Choose what to work on.
If you have paused patches but no active ones, the "Working on" heading and the paused link still show, with no tiles. If you have neither, this section doesn't appear.
This card shows the belt you hold on the left. The right side has a small heading, usually with a belt name under it:
"Next" and the belt name: the belt you're working toward.
"First belt": you haven't earned a belt yet. The left side shows the first belt you're working toward instead.
"Coming soon" and the belt name: your next belt isn't ready in the program yet.
"Rank" and your belt's name: you hold the highest belt.
Under that is your progress. Usually it's a count of patches with a bar, for example "3 of 12 patches earned". If your gym's program measures a belt in other ways, the card shows a short row for each category and counts for classes and weeks instead. If your next belt is coming soon, or you hold the highest belt, the card leaves this part out.
The last line sums up what's left:
The line says
What it means
"9 patches to Challenger" (any number and belt)
How many patches on the path to that belt you still need
"Challenger requirements complete" (any belt)
You've earned every patch that belt asks for
"Challenger is coming soon" (any belt)
That part of the program is still being prepared
"Top of the ladder"
There is no higher belt
"No belt on record. See the front desk."
The app can't find a belt for you. Ask at the front desk. This card can't be tapped
Tap the card to open Your belt. Tap Your journey above the card to open Your Journey.
This section lists your three newest events, newest first. The day shows on the right as "Today", "Yesterday" or a date. Most events have a second line underneath with more detail.
The event says
The line underneath says
What happened
"Attended a class"

A class you attended was recorded. The total is your "Program classes" count at that point
"Attended an event"
"+1 class · 104 total"
An event you attended was recorded. It counts as one class
"Class added by your coach"
"+1 class · 104 total"
Your coach added a class to your record
"Logged" and the requirement name

You earned a patch
"Reached" and a belt name
"Every patch on the way there earned"
You moved up a belt by earning every patch it asks for
When you earn a patch, the line under "Earned" tells you how:
The line says
How you earned the patch
"Signed off by your coach · Striking" (any category)
Your coach approved your sign-off request, and that finished the patch
"Awarded by your coach · Striking"
Your coach awarded you the patch directly
"Every criterion met · Striking"
You finished every requirement, and the patch was earned automatically
If a patch has no category, the line shows only the first part, for example "Every criterion met".
These lines can't be tapped. See all opens Train, which lists your recorded classes. This section doesn't appear until you have some activity.
If you're new or not connected yet
A sample new member: nothing earned yet, the first patch already featured, and a working set with only the Choose a patch tile.
As a new member, your numbers start at 0 and "Recent activity" doesn't appear yet. If your gym's program starts you on a first patch, that patch is already on the card at the top. "Working on" then shows only the Choose a patch tile.
If your account isn't connected to a gym, a "Connect your gym" card sits under the header. It reads "Your classes are not counting yet." Until you connect, classes you attend don't count toward your patches. Tap the card to connect. It goes away once your gym is connected. See Connect your gym membership.
The "Connect your gym" card appears under the header until your account is connected to your gym.
Refreshing Home
Pull down on Home to refresh. A spinner shows at the top while the app checks for updates. The app also refreshes on its own when you open it, when you come back to it, and about every 20 seconds while it's open. That's how a coach's decision reaches your phone without a restart.
When you open the app, your last saved progress may show for a moment while it refreshes. The three numbers read "—" until the refresh finishes.
If a new badge or belt arrives, a celebration opens on top of the screen you're on. See Celebrations.
If Home has no saved patch to show while it loads your progress, the card reads "Loading your progress" and "Getting your patches and latest coach feedback." If it has no saved belt either, the belt card reads "Loading your belt…".
If that load fails, the card changes to "Your progress is waiting" and "Connect to load your patches and latest coach feedback." A belt card that was loading keeps reading "Loading your belt…" until a load succeeds. Check your connection, then tap Try again.
If the app can't reach the server at any time, a banner appears at the top of the screen: "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." Home keeps showing your last saved progress. Tap the banner or pull down to try again. The banner goes away once the app reconnects.
When the app can't connect, the banner sits above Home and your last saved progress stays on screen.
If an action doesn't go through, a banner explains why in a short sentence and closes after a few seconds. For more help, see Troubleshooting.
Your Journey is your path through your gym's program, drawn as a trail from top to bottom. It starts with your first patch and ends with the belts still ahead of you. It opens at your current place on the trail.
Open your Journey
Tap Journey in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. It's the second tab, between Home and Train. You can also get there from Home: tap Your journey next to "The bigger picture".
When the Journey first loads, it's already scrolled to your place on the trail, so you don't have to look for it. If you scroll away later, Jump to where you are brings you back.
Your Journey opens on your current patch: the biggest one, with a pulsing halo and its percent complete.
How the page is laid out
From top to bottom you'll see:
The title "Your journey" and the line "One patch at a time. All your own."
A band for each belt you've reached, starting with your first. Each band holds the patches you earned while you held that belt.
In the band of the belt you hold now, after the patches you've earned there: the patches you're working on, then dashed circles for patches your next belt still needs.
Your next belt, marked "Next", with a summary of what's left.
The belts above that, locked.
"Beyond the belt", then a count of your skill patches.
The small pill under the title names the belt for the part of the trail at the top of your screen. It changes as you scroll.
The pill ends in
It means
"yours"
The belt you hold now
"held"
A belt you've already moved past
"next"
The belt you're working toward
"locked"
A belt further up the ladder
Belt bands
Each belt you've reached gets its own band, tinted in that belt's color, with the belt's name and patch at the top.
On the right of each band is a count such as "3 of 7". The first number is how many patches you earned while you held that belt. The second is how many patches you've earned in total.
The line under the belt name depends on the band:
The belt you hold now reads like "Working on 3 · 4 of 7 earned here": how many patches you're actively working on (paused ones aren't counted), then the same count as above. If nothing is active, it shows what that belt asks for instead.
Belts you've moved past show what that belt asked for, such as "Yours from day one" for the belt every member starts with.
Belts you've moved past fold down to a count with an arrow. The belt you hold stays open and shows how many patches you're working on.
Each patch is filed under the belt you held when you earned it. If a patch and a new belt are recorded at the same moment, the patch goes under the new belt.
Unfold a belt you've moved past
Belts you've moved past start folded, so the belt you're on gets the most room.
1
Scroll up to a folded belt. It has a small arrow pointing right, next to its count.
2
Tap the belt's row. The arrow turns down and the patches you earned while holding that belt appear, each with the date you earned it.
Unfold a belt to see the patches you earned while you held it, each with its date.
3
Tap the row again to fold it.
A dashed line runs through your patches in the order things happened: first the patches you earned, oldest first, then the ones you're working on, in the order you started them, then the open circles.
Between two earned patches, the dashes are bright, in your app's accent color.
Leading into anything you haven't earned yet, the dashes are faint gray.
The line stops at the end of each belt band and picks up again in the next one.

If a belt band has recognition patches but no other earned patches, those recognition patches sit in a row under the belt name instead of beside the trail, each with its name and date.
The status line under a patch you're working on can start with "Extra ·", for example "Extra · Working on", "Extra · Awaiting coach" or "Extra · Sent back". Paused patches never show it.
The label only changes how the patch is shown. Your progress on the patch stays the same, and the patch stays in your working set.
Don't use "Extra" to judge whether a patch counts toward your next belt. It can appear on a patch your next belt needs. To see what your next belt asks for, and how many of its patches you've earned, check the row marked "Next" and the Your belt screen.
Where you are
The largest patch, with the pulsing halo and the percent above it, is the one the app is featuring. It's the same patch your Home screen features. The app picks the one closest to done from the patches you're actively working on (not paused ones).
If you have nothing active, for example because everything is paused, the first open circle becomes your place on the trail instead, with the pulsing halo but no percent. If there are no open circles either, your most recently earned patch takes that spot.
Open slots: choose what's next
Dashed circles show what your next belt still needs that you haven't started yet. A patch you've paused stays on the trail as a dimmed patch.
1
Scroll down past the patches you're working on to the dashed circles. Each one is labeled with what it stands for, such as a patch name or a type of patch.
Dashed circles with a + are what your next belt still needs, each labeled with what it stands for.
2
Tap a circle. The patch list opens, narrowed to that circle's type of patch, for example "Pick your next Striking patch". A sparring circle opens "Pick a sparring patch".
Tapping a circle opens the patch list, narrowed to one type of patch.
3
Tap a patch that has a + beside it. It joins your working set and moves onto your trail with a progress ring. See Choose what to work on for the rest.
A circle with a gold star is one your coach chooses for you, so you can't pick it. Tap it and a short note appears: "Your coach picks this one", or "Your coach picked this one for you" once they have.
Your next belt and the belts above
Below the open circles is one row for your next belt, marked "Next". It shows:
What the belt asks for, such as "3/12 patches": how many of that belt's patches you've earned, out of how many it needs. A small green check appears beside it once you've met it.
One bold sentence that sums up what's left, such as "9 patches to Challenger".
If your gym hasn't set up your next belt yet, the bold sentence is the belt's name followed by "is coming soon". See When the next belt is coming soon.
Every belt above your next one gets its own row, with a lock and a line about what that belt asks for. If a belt's requirements haven't been set yet, its row reads "Coming soon — this part of the program is being authored".
The row marked "Next" sums up what your next belt still needs. The belts above it are locked.
If you hold the top belt, there's no "Next" row and no open circles. The path ends with "Ladder complete — since" and the date you got there, plus an Add another patch button that opens the patch list so you can keep going.
At the foot of the page, "Beyond the belt" lists the recognition patches you haven't earned yet, such as class milestones. The count on the right, such as "4 to earn", tells you how many are left. Each tile shows the patch with "Recognition" under its name. Tap a tile to see what it takes.
When you earn one of these patches, it leaves this strip and moves onto your trail, beside the patch you earned around the same time. Once you've earned them all, the strip disappears.
Core-value patches aren't in this strip. They sit on your trail like any other patch you earn or work on.
Which of these count toward a belt
Under the heading, the strip reads "Core values and recognition earn on their own. They never count toward a belt." Don't rely on that line when you plan your next belt. Your gym's program decides what each belt needs, and the path to a belt can include class milestones and core-value patches.
When a class milestone is on the path to your next belt and you haven't earned it yet, it also shows as an open circle on your trail. So the same class milestone can appear in the strip and on the trail at once.
To check what your next belt asks for, go by the row marked "Next" and the Your belt screen, not by a patch's group.
The last line counts your skill patches, for example "6 of 11 skill patches earned." Core-value patches are part of this count. Recognition patches aren't. Earn every skill patch and it reads "All 11 skill patches earned. You are the main event.", with your program's total in place of 11.
Jump back to where you are
1
Scroll away from your place on the trail. A Jump to where you are pill appears above the tab bar. Its arrow points up or down toward your place.
Scroll away from your place and the pill's arrow points back toward it.
2
Tap Jump to where you are. The page scrolls back until your current patch is in the middle of the screen, and the pill goes away.
One tap brings your current patch back to the middle of the screen.
When you earn a skill patch, the next time your Journey comes back into view the new patch pops once, and the trail draws down from it toward what's next. This happens once per patch. It doesn't play if this is the first time you've opened the Journey since starting the app.
The big "patch earned" moment itself is covered in Celebrations.
A new member's Journey
When you first join, your Journey has a single band for the belt every member starts with. Its count reads "0 of 0" until you earn your first patch.
A new member's path: one belt band, a first patch in progress and a dashed circle for the patch that comes next.
Your gym may start your first patch for you, in which case it's already in the middle of the screen at 0%. Below it are dashed circles for the next patches on the path, then your first belt to earn, marked "Next". As you earn patches, they get green checks and the trail fills in behind you.

VoiceOver and TalkBack. Every earned or in-progress patch reads out its name and state, for example a patch name followed by "paused, 20 percent complete". The "Extra ·" part of a status line isn't read out. Open circles read as "Open slot" (or "Open sparring slot") followed by what they're for. Belt rows you can fold say whether they will expand or collapse.
Reduce Motion. With Reduce Motion on, the halo around your current patch stays still, newly earned patches don't pop, and the trail doesn't draw in.
Patches are the steps, and belts are the ranks they add up to. The Your belt screen shows the belt you hold, what you still need for the next one, and every belt in your gym's program.
Open Your belt
1
On the Home tab, scroll down to "The bigger picture".
The belt card there shows the belt you hold, the belt you're working toward and a one-line summary of what's left. The Your journey link beside the heading opens the Journey tab.
The belt card shows your belt, the next belt and what's left, all in one card.
2
Tap the belt card.
The "Your belt" screen opens. To go back to Home, tap the back button at the top of the screen.
The top of the screen shows the belt you hold and the date you got it. Below that is what the next belt still needs.
A small label on the belt card tells you where you stand:
Label on the card
What it means
"Next"
The belt named below the label is the one you're working toward.
"First belt"
You're working toward your first belt, and the card shows that belt.
"Coming soon"
The next belt isn't ready to earn yet.
"Rank"
There is no belt above yours.
If the card says "Loading your belt…", the app is still loading your record. If it says "No belt on record. See the front desk.", speak to the front desk. You can't open the card in either state.
The belt you hold
The top of the screen shows your belt's patch and name. The line under it is one of these:
"Since" and a date, for example "Since Jul 29, 2026". That's the day you got the belt.
"Your first belt. Earn the opening patches." You haven't earned your first belt yet, so the screen shows the belt you're working toward. See Your first belt.
"Your belt". The app has your belt but not the date you got it.
What the next belt needs
Below the belt you hold, a card sums up what's left in a one-line headline. When there's a next belt to earn, the card sits under a "Next ·" heading with that belt's name. Home and Your belt show the same headline.
Headline
What it means
A patch count, for example "9 patches to Challenger"
You still need to earn this many patches from the belt's path.
The belt name and "requirements complete"
You've done everything, and the belt is awarded without a test.
A list ending "from your … test", for example "One Striking patch · 12 classes · 3 weeks from your Warrior test"
You need these before you can take the belt test. The list names only what you still need.
"Test eligible. Ask your coach to schedule it."
You've met everything else. Your test is next.
The belt, "test", a day and a time, for example "Warrior test Tomorrow · 6 PM"
Your test is booked.
The belt name and "test still to take"
The test is the only thing left.
The belt name and "is coming soon"
The next belt isn't ready to earn yet.
"Top of the ladder"
There is no belt above yours.
The rest of the card depends on how your gym's program sets up that belt. There are two kinds.
Belts you earn with a set of patches
Some belts come with a set list of patches, called the path to that belt. The card shows:
A count such as "3 of 12 patches earned", with a progress bar.
"Your belt is awarded when every patch on the path is earned." If this belt also needs a coach test, the line reads "Earn the patches on your path, then complete your coach test."
See patches on your path, which opens the Journey tab. There you can see which patches are on the path and choose what to work on next.
If the belt has no test, you don't need to ask anyone for it. You get the belt as soon as you earn the last patch on its path.
Belts with categories and gates
Other belts need a number of patches in each category, plus a few other requirements called gates. The card shows:
"Patches ·" and how many you need. "Patches · 2 in each of 4" means two patches in every category. "Patches · 3 in 3 of 4" means three patches in any three of the four categories.
A row with a progress bar for each category, such as "Technical" or "Ring IQ". A green check means that category is done. Recognition patches, such as class milestones, and side quests don't count in these rows.
"Gates", a checklist. A green check appears next to each gate you've met.
Gate
What it counts
"Classes"
Your class total, the same number you see on Train.
"Weeks as a member"
Full weeks since the "Member since" date on your profile.
"Sparring patches"
Sparring patches you've earned. Shown only when the belt needs them.
"Coach-picked patches"
Patches your coach chose for you that you've since earned. Shown only when the belt needs them.
"Belt test"
Where your test stands. See the next table.
On Home, the same belt card shows smaller category rows and gate chips such as "Classes 20/36" and "Weeks 9/12". When the belt needs them, it also shows "Sparring" and "Coach picks" chips. A chip turns green and gets a checkmark once you've met that gate.
The "Belt test" gate shows one of these:
Value
What it means
"Not needed"
This belt has no test.
"After the gates"
Meet the other requirements first.
"Ask your coach"
You're ready. Ask your coach to book your test.
A day and time, for example "Tomorrow · 6 PM"
Your test is booked.
"Passed"
You passed the test.
Belt tests
Only some belts have a test. For those that do:
Your coach books the test. You can't book it in the app. Your coach can book it only after you've met everything else the belt needs. When you have, the headline reads "Test eligible. Ask your coach to schedule it."
You can test only for the next belt up, and you can have only one test booked at a time.
Test days show as "Today", "Tomorrow", "Yesterday", a short day name such as "Thu" for the rest of the coming week, or a date such as "Tue, Sep 8".
When your coach records a pass, the belt is yours. If notifications are on, you also get one that names the belt, for example "You earned your Warrior belt". Tap it to open Your belt. See Notifications.
A pass is the only test result that sends a notification. You don't get one when your coach books your test, or when a result is recorded as "Not yet", "No-show" or "Cancelled".
Once your coach books your first test, a "Belt tests" section appears on Your belt, with the latest test first. Each row shows the belt and attempt number (for example "Warrior · attempt 2"), a status, and the day and time. If your coach added a note, it appears in quotation marks.
Status
What it means
"Scheduled"
Your test is booked.
"Passed"
You passed, and the belt is yours.
"Not yet"
You didn't pass this time. Your coach can book another attempt.
"No-show"
You missed a booked test. Your coach can book another attempt.
"Cancelled"
The test was called off.
Sometimes the next part of your gym's program isn't ready yet. In that case, Your belt shows a card with the belt name and "is coming soon", plus "The next part of your program is being prepared. Your earned patches stay in your Locker." The Home card's label reads "Coming soon".
You don't need to do anything. Your belt and patches are safe, and you can keep working on the patches open to you.
"The ladder" lists the belts in your gym's program, lowest first. Each card shows the belt's patch and name, a mark on the right, a line about what the belt takes, and a short description. Belts you don't hold look faded, except the one marked "Next". You can't tap anything on the ladder.
Mark
What it means
A check seal
You hold this belt or have moved past it.
"Next", with an outline around the card
This is the belt you're working toward.
A lock
This belt is further up. Earn the belts below it first.
"Coming soon"
You can't earn this belt yet. Its line reads "Coming soon — this part of the program is being authored".
The line about what a belt takes reads one of these ways:
"Yours from day one". Every member starts with this belt.
"Earn all", a number, and "patches on the path to" the belt, for example "Earn all 4 patches on the path to Contender".
A short list: patches per category, classes, weeks ("wk"), and "sparring", "coach-picked" or "test" if the belt needs them. For example, "2 in each of 4 · 36 classes · 12 wk · test".
You move up one belt at a time, so you can't skip a belt. The app never takes a belt away.
The belt you're working toward has an outline and a "Next" tag. Belts marked "Coming soon" can't be earned yet.
Every account gets a starting belt when it's created. What you see after that depends on your gym's program:
Your first belt comes with your account. The ladder lists it with "Yours from day one", and it's the belt you hold.
You earn your first belt. Your belt shows that belt at the top with "Your first belt. Earn the opening patches." The Next card counts the opening patches. The Home card is labeled "First belt", and on the ladder, the first belt is marked "Next".
A new member's screen shows the first belt to earn and counts the opening patches toward it.
If Your belt says "Loading your belt…", wait for the app to finish loading. If it says "No belt on record. See the front desk.", speak to the front desk. In that state the ladder still lists the belts, but there's no Next card.
When the app picks up your new belt, a full-screen celebration plays. It shows your belt's patch, "Belt earned", "You are a" followed by the belt name, and the belt's description. After a moment, a Continue button appears. Tap it to close the celebration. On Android, the back button also closes it.
If one moment earns you both a patch and a belt, you see the patch celebration first, then the belt.
The app checks for updates while it's open and whenever you come back to it. A belt unlocked by your coach's decision shows up shortly after.
The belt also appears in "Recent activity" on Home. A belt earned through its patch path shows "Reached" and the belt name, with "Every patch on the way there earned". A belt earned through a test shows "Earned your" and the belt name, with "Belt test passed" and the name of the coach who signed it.
The Home belt card is read as one button: your belt, the headline, then "Open belt details".
The progress bar is read as "Patches toward this belt", with how many you've earned.
Each category row, and each gate row on Your belt, ends with "complete" or "not complete".
No. Belts go up one at a time, and you can test only for the next belt up.
No. Your coach books it once you've met everything else. When Your belt says "Test eligible. Ask your coach to schedule it.", let your coach know in class.
No. Only a pass sends a notification. Booking a test doesn't, and neither does a "Not yet", "No-show" or "Cancelled" result. Check the "Belt tests" section on Your belt to see a new booking.
The test shows as "Not yet". Keep training and talk to your coach, who can book another attempt. Each attempt gets its own number.
The "Classes" gate uses the same total you see on Train, and weeks count from the "Member since" date on your profile. If either looks wrong, ask your coach or the front desk to check it. See Troubleshooting.
That part of your gym's program isn't ready yet. Your belt and your earned patches are safe, and you can keep working on the patches open to you.
You choose which patches you work on. The patches you pick make up your working set. You can change it at any time, and pausing or swapping a patch never costs you the work you've already done.
Your working set
Your gym's program sets how many patches you can have active at once. "Choose a patch" always shows where you stand, for example "3 of 5 in your working set". The first number is how many patches you have active. The second is your gym's limit. The screenshots in this guide come from a sample program with a limit of five, so your number may differ.
Active patches count toward your limit. They show on Home and on your Journey.
Paused patches don't count toward your limit. They keep all their progress.
Earned patches leave your working set on their own, which frees a spot.
Your working set decides what you can do on a patch. On a patch you pick, Log a round and Ask coach to sign off only appear while it's active. Classes work differently. They count toward every patch, whether you've started it, paused it or not picked it yet.
Your gym's program may add a patch to your set for you when you join.
On Home, the big card at the top features one of your active patches. The rest sit in the row below it, titled "Also in progress" or "Working on".
Your other active patches sit under "Also in progress", and the 1 paused link on the right opens the patch list.
Open the patch list
The list is called "Choose a patch". You can open it three ways:
From Home. Scroll to the "Working on" or "Also in progress" row and tap the Choose a patch tile at the end. If you have paused patches, the link on the right of that row (for example 1 paused) opens the same list.
From your Journey. Tap an open slot, the dashed circle with a +. The list opens filtered to what that slot needs, for example "Pick your next Striking patch".
From a patch you're working on. Tap Swap this patch. The list opens ready to swap. See Swap one patch for another.
The Choose a patch tile appears once you have at least one active patch. With nothing active, start from the big card at the top of Home or from your Journey.
Opened from a Journey slot, the list shows only the patches that fit that slot.
The list groups patches by category, such as Technical, Striking and Ring IQ. Each group heading shows how many of its patches you've earned, for example "Striking · 1/4". Each row shows the patch's picture, its name, its first requirement in gray and its state on the right.
To close the list, tap the X at the top right.
The subtitle shows how full your working set is, and each row shows its state on the right.

Start a patch
1
Open "Choose a patch" from Home or your Journey.
2
Find a patch with a + on the right and tap its row.
3
A message at the bottom confirms it, for example "Working on Adaptability Animal". The row now reads "Working on it", and the count goes up by one.
The new patch reads "Working on it", and the count moved from 3 to 4 of 5.
You can also start a patch from its own page. Open a patch you haven't started, for example from your Locker. If it's one you can pick, the page ends with Start working on this. Tap it.
A patch you can start ends with Start working on this.
Once you start a patch, it shows on Home and on your Journey.
Pause a patch
Pausing takes a patch out of your active set without losing anything.
1
Open the patch from Home, your Journey or your Locker.
2
Scroll to the bottom and tap Pause, next to Swap this patch. The patch pauses straight away. There's no confirmation step.
On a patch you're working on, Swap this patch and Pause sit under the main button.
3
A message confirms it, for example "Timing Titan paused". The page now shows an amber "Paused" chip.
A paused patch keeps its progress bar and shows an amber "Paused" chip.
While a patch is paused:
Everything you've done stays: logged rounds, coach sign-offs and classes.
It doesn't count toward your limit.
It stays on your Journey, dimmed and marked "Paused".
It no longer shows on Home. Instead, the link on the right of the in-progress row, for example 1 paused, counts your paused patches.
You can't log rounds or ask for a sign-off until you resume it. Classes you attend still count.
At the bottom of a paused patch's page you'll see "Paused — nothing is lost. Pick it back up whenever you are ready." with Resume and Drop it below it.
Resume a paused patch
You can resume a patch in two places:
From the list. Open "Choose a patch" and tap a row marked Resume.
From the patch. Open it and tap Resume.
A message confirms it, for example "Hit & Move is back in your set". The patch picks up where you left it.
After a resume, the row reads "Working on it" again and the count reaches 5 of 5, which fills the sample program's working set.
Swap one patch for another
A swap pauses one patch and starts another in a single step. The number of patches you have active stays the same, so a swap works even when your set is full.
1
Open the patch you want to swap out and tap Swap this patch.
2
The list opens with a new title, for example "Swap Death By A Thousand Cuts for…". Patches you can swap in show a two-way arrow. These are the patches you haven't started (or dropped) and the ones you've paused.
In swap mode, the patches you can switch to show a two-way arrow instead of + or Resume.
3
Tap the patch you want. The old patch pauses and the new one becomes active. If you pick a paused patch, it resumes where you left it.
4
A message confirms it, for example "Swapped Timing Titan for Adaptability Animal". The list goes back to the normal "Choose a patch" view. Tap the X when you're done.
The patch you swapped out is paused, not dropped. Resume it whenever you have room.
If you already have as many patches active as your gym's program allows and you try to start or resume another, a sheet opens at the bottom of the screen so you can make room:
The title reads "Your working set is full", followed by a line such as "You are working on 5 already — swap one out or pause one to make room." The number is your gym's limit.
Below that are your active patches, in the order you first started them. Each one shows its progress ring and "Swap for" followed by the patch you picked.
At the bottom: "The one you swap out is paused, not lost — its progress keeps."
Tap the patch you want to swap out. The sheet closes, that patch pauses, and your new pick becomes active. A message confirms it, for example "Swapped Timing Titan for Adaptability Animal".
To back out without changing anything, tap the X or tap outside the sheet. On Android, the back button also closes it.
The sheet opens wherever you try to add a patch: from "Choose a patch", or from Start working on this or Resume on a patch's page. If you'd rather make room without starting something new, pause one of your active patches first.
When the first number matches your limit, as in "5 of 5 in your working set", your set is full and starting or resuming another patch opens the swap sheet.
Drop a paused patch
Dropping takes a paused patch out of your working set completely.
1
Open a paused patch.
2
Under Resume, tap Drop it. The patch is dropped straight away. There's no confirmation step.
3
A message reads "Dropped from your set", and the page shows Start working on this again.
You can only drop a paused patch. To drop one you're working on, pause it first.
The work you've already done on a dropped patch is kept. If you change your mind, start the patch again from its page, or from "Choose a patch", where it shows a +. A dropped patch doesn't show on Home.
Your gym's program may tie some patches to a belt. You can work on patches up to one belt above the belt you hold. A patch further up shows as a dimmed row with "Unlocks at" and the belt it needs.
Tapping a locked row shows a message with the belt it needs, and nothing changes. The patch's own page says "Unlocks at" and the belt under its name, and explains: "You can work one belt ahead of the one you hold — earn your way up and it opens." Once the patch is no more than one belt above yours, it opens.
Your gym's program may run some patches in order, so one patch opens only after you've earned another. Until then, the later patch's page shows "Comes after" and the name of the patch you need first, in place of the usual count of requirements done. If more than one earlier patch is still missing, the line adds how many more, for example "(+1 more)".
A card on the page says "The program runs in order", names the patch to finish first, and adds "Classes you attend now still count toward it." The page has no Start working on this button.
While a patch is waiting on an earlier one:
Its requirements still show your real progress.
Classes you attend count toward it, as they do for every patch.
You can't log rounds or ask for a sign-off on it yet.
It can't be earned until you've earned the patch that comes before it.
Once you earn the earlier patch, the later one opens. If all of its requirements are already done by then, you earn it straight away.
Class milestones and other recognition patches. These are earned, not chosen, so you can't pick them. Class milestones come automatically as you attend. If your program runs them in order, they also wait until you've earned the patch they come after. See Patches that come in order.
Core-value patches, in some programs. Depending on your gym's program, these may not be listed either. Open one from your Locker to see where it stands. If you can start it, its page ends with Start working on this.
Sometimes "Choose a patch" has nothing to show. It then reads "No matching patches", and the message under it tells you why.
The message reads
When you see it
What to do
"This program no longer has patches in that selection. Show the full list to choose another."
You opened the list from a Journey slot, and no patch in the list fits that slot.
Tap Show all patches. The full "Choose a patch" list opens in its place. If the slot is for a class milestone or a core-value patch, the full list won't have it either. Open that patch from your Locker instead.
"This program does not have any skill patches available yet."
Your gym's program has no patches for you to choose yet. There's no button.
Close the list with the X.
Common questions
Your gym's program sets the limit. Open "Choose a patch" and read the line under the title, for example "3 of 5 in your working set". The first number is how many you have active, and the second is your limit.
Your gym's program runs that patch after another one. Earn the patch it names first, and this one opens. Classes you attend still count toward it in the meantime.
If you opened it from a Journey slot, nothing in the list fits that slot. Tap Show all patches to see everything you can pick. If the slot is for a class milestone or a core-value patch, open that patch from your Locker instead. If there's no button, your gym's program has no patches to choose yet.
No. Your logged rounds, coach sign-offs and classes all stay. When you resume or restart the patch, you pick up where you were.
Those buttons only appear on patches you're actively working on. Start the patch, or resume it if it's paused. If the patch says "Comes after", earn the patch it names first.
Yes. Classes count toward every patch, whether it's active or not. Starting a patch is what lets you log rounds and ask your coach to sign off.
Pause and drop happen straight away, with no confirmation. To reverse a pause, tap Resume. To reverse a drop, start the patch again. Your earlier work is still there.
It leaves your working set on its own, which frees a spot for your next pick. You'll find it with your earned patches in your Locker.
Every patch in Mayweather Patch has its own page. It shows the patch, how far along you are, each requirement and who completes it, and the one thing to do next. This article walks through the page from top to bottom.
Open a patch
Tap a patch almost anywhere in the app and its page slides up over the screen you were on:
On Home, tap the "Your next win" card or one of the patches you're working on.
On Journey, tap any patch on your path.
In your Locker, tap any patch.
In "Choose a patch", tap a patch you've earned or are already working on.
Tap a notification about a patch you've earned, a sign-off decision or your physical patch.
To close the page, tap the X at the top left. Screen readers call it "Close". Closing it takes you back to the screen you came from. If there's nothing to go back to, you land on your Locker.
The top of the page: the patch, the controls for turning it over, the patch name and how many requirements you've done.
The patch sits in a metal frame, like a collectible. When the page opens, the patch spins once and stops on the front. The back is engraved with your gym's name and "PATCH PROGRAM".
1
Drag sideways across the patch to turn it. When you let go, it settles on the front or the back. A quick flick carries it further.
If you swipe mostly up or down, the page scrolls and the patch stays put.
2
To turn the patch without dragging, tap Turn badge.
The button changes to View front. Tap it to turn the patch back.
The back of a patch you haven't earned yet, with View front under it.
3
Read the bottom of the back. It says "IN THE MAKING" until you earn the patch. After that it says "EARNED" and the date you earned it.
The back of an earned patch shows "EARNED" and the date.
With a screen reader on, the patch is read as its name followed by "badge front" or "metal reverse". The button is read as "Show metal backing" or "Show badge front". There's more in Accessibility.
From top to bottom, you'll see:
The category line. This small line in capitals names the patch's category, then its belt tier. Patches you earn automatically, such as class milestones, show their group name instead, for example "Recognition".
The patch name.
The status line. It tells you where you stand with the patch (see the table below).
Chips, when one applies. "Paused" means you've put the patch on hold. If your gym marks a patch as a sparring patch, it shows "Sparring". If your gym marks it as one your coach can choose for you, it shows "Coach-selectable". Your belt and what comes next shows whether your next belt counts either kind.
A progress bar, while you're working on the patch, while it's paused, and on patches you earn automatically. The bar counts partial progress too. On a class milestone it can be half full while the line above still reads "0 of 1 requirements done".
The description, which says what the patch stands for. It's hidden on a patch that belongs to a higher belt.
Status line
What it means
"2 of 5 requirements done"
You haven't earned the patch yet. The numbers count finished requirements.
"Earned Sep 13, 2026"
You've earned it. The date is the day you earned it. The patch stays earned even if your gym changes its requirements later.
"Comes after …"
Your gym's program runs in order, and you need to earn the patch named here first. If more than one patch comes first, the line ends with something like "(+2 more)".
"Unlocks at …"
This patch belongs to a higher belt, and the line names that belt. The patch opens once you hold the belt one step below it, so you don't have to reach the named belt first.
Requirements and who completes them
The "Requirements" list shows everything the patch asks for, one row each. The icon at the start of each row tells you who completes it.
Icon

You can't log it yourself. Ask your coach how Mayweather Boxing + Fitness records it.
Pencil
A drill you do on your own
You complete it by tapping Log a round.
Your gym's program decides which of these you'll actually see.
Each row that isn't finished also shows:
How to do it. When the requirement has instructions, they appear under its name. Some are long, so scroll to see the whole list.
A small caption on many rows, naming the type of work, such as "Drill", "Technique" or "Assessment". If a coach has to see it, the caption ends with "· Coach Signs Off".
A count on the right when the requirement needs more than one of something. It shows how many you've done, then how many the requirement needs, for example "3/10".
An "Awaiting coach" chip on coach requirements while your sign-off request is waiting. The chip takes the place of the count.
A finished row shows a green check, and its name is crossed out. Its instructions and caption are hidden.
A finished class requirement at the top, then a drill your coach signs off, then two drills you log yourself.
Log a round
Some requirements are drills you do on your own. You record them yourself, and they count as soon as you tap. Your coach doesn't need to approve them.
1
Open a patch you're working on. The Log a round button appears only on patches you're working on, not on paused ones.
2
Do the drill as described under its name.
3
Tap Log a round under that drill.
Each tap logs one round, and the progress bar moves forward. Your phone may also give a short buzz.
Each drill you log yourself has its own Log a round button.
4
Check the row. A drill that needs one round is now ticked off, and the status line counts it. If a drill needs more than one, its count goes up by one with each tap, and the button stays until you reach the target.
After one tap, the first drill is ticked off and crossed out.
5
If that was the last requirement on the patch, a celebration opens once the app has saved it. See Celebrations.
When nothing on the patch still needs your coach and the next unfinished requirement is a drill you log yourself, a large Log a round button also appears at the bottom of the page. It logs the first unfinished drill in the list.
The button always says Log a round, even when the drill is a set of punches or a circuit.
If you don't see Log a round, check the following:
You haven't started the patch. Tap Start working on this first.
The patch is paused. Tap Resume first.
The patch is earned, belongs to a higher belt, or comes after another patch. You can't log rounds on it.
The drill is already finished. Its row shows a green check.
The requirement needs your coach. Rows your coach signs off never have a log button. Use Ask coach to sign off instead.

The "Your patch" section, described below
Sometimes I've got it
Left, a patch you haven't started. Right, a patch you're working on that still needs a coach.
Here's what each button does:
Start working on this adds the patch to your working set. A message at the bottom confirms it with "Working on" and the patch's name. If your working set is full, a sheet titled "Your working set is full" lets you pick one of your patches to pause in its place. See Choose what to work on.
Ask coach to sign off and Ask again open a short form where you can add a note for your coach. See Ask a coach to sign off. You can't cancel a request once it's sent. It stays with your coach until they decide.
Swap this patch opens a list titled "Swap … for…" with this patch's name in it. Pick another patch, and this one is paused while the new one starts.
Pause puts the patch on hold straight away, without asking you first. Your progress stays, and classes you attend still count toward it.
Resume puts a paused patch back in your working set. If your working set is full, the same "Your working set is full" sheet opens.
Drop it stops a paused patch straight away, without asking you first. The patch is no longer paused, and its page shows Start working on this again. What you've logged stays, so you can pick it up later where you left off.
Book a class and Find an event close the page and open Train, which lists the classes you've completed. You can't book classes or find events in the app, so book the way you normally do with Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.
You can't choose patches you earn automatically, such as class milestones. They're awarded as you reach them.
Left, a paused patch with its amber chip. Right, a class milestone with your count so far and a Book a class button.
Once you've earned a patch, the status line shows the date you earned it. The badge stays yours, whatever happens with the physical patch.
If the badge comes with a physical patch, a "Your patch" section shows where that patch is:
Chip
What it means
"Patch: coach reviewing"
Your coach looks every patch over before handing it out. Your badge already counts.
"Patch: waiting with Coach"
Your patch is ready. Pick it up from your coach at your next class.
"Patch: handed over — confirm"
Your coach has marked it as given to you. Tap I've got it once it's in your hands.
"Patch received"
You confirmed you have it. The line below shows the date.
"Needs another look"
Your coach is holding the patch for now, and their reason appears below the chip. Your badge stands, and nothing is taken back. Show the skill once more in class.
If a badge has no physical patch, there's no "Your patch" section. A note says "This is a digital badge. It counts toward your progress and has no physical patch to collect."
An earned patch: every requirement ticked, and a green "Patch received" chip under Your patch.
If the app can't find the patch a link or notification points to, the page says "Badge not found" and "This one slipped through the ropes. Close the sheet and try again." Tap Close to go back, then open the patch again from your Locker or Journey.
You'll see this when the app can't match a patch link to your gym's program.
When you log a round, ask for a sign-off or change your working set, the app shows the change straight away and then saves it. If your phone is offline, a bar at the top says the app can't reach the server. When the bar reads "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry.", tap it to try again. Anything that didn't save disappears the next time the app refreshes, so do it again once you're back online. If the app refuses a change, the bar at the top gives the reason for a few seconds, and the page goes back to how it was once the app refreshes.
I've got it works differently. It waits for the app to save, and you can't tap it while the app can't reach the server.
No. Drills you log count straight away. Your coach signs off only the coach requirements, the rows with a seal or thumbs-up icon. If you earn a patch that comes with a physical patch, your coach checks it before handing it over.
Look for rows your coach signs off, classes still to go, or a "Comes after …" or "Unlocks at …" line. The app awards the patch when every requirement is done, including the ones your coach checks. It's the same the other way round: if your coach signs off first, you earn the patch as soon as you log your last drill.
That's expected. Train shows the classes you've completed. Book your classes the way you normally do with Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. Each class you attend counts once Mayweather Boxing + Fitness's attendance records reach the app.
Reduce Motion is probably on. Use Turn badge instead. A swipe that's mostly up or down also scrolls the page rather than turning the patch.
No. It stays with your coach until they approve it or send it back.
No. The rows show your gym's current requirements, so a row can show as not done if Mayweather Boxing + Fitness changed the patch after you earned it. The status line still reads "Earned …", and the patch still counts toward your belt.
Only a coach can tick off some of the requirements on a patch. You show the skill in class, then ask for the sign-off in Mayweather Patch. Your coach either signs it off or sends it back and tells you why. Either way, you keep everything you've already done.
Which requirements need a coach
Open a patch and look at its "Requirements" list. A requirement your coach checks usually has a seal icon, and some also show "Coach Signs Off" under the description. You can't tick these off yourself.
The other requirements count on their own or are yours to log:
Classes count on their own from your gym attendance.
Requirements with a Log a round button are yours to log.
Coach requirements need a sign-off request.
If a patch you're working on still has an open coach requirement, the card at the bottom of the patch says so. For example, "One requirement needs a coach. Show it in class and ask for the sign-off." The Ask coach to sign off button is right under that line.
The seal icon marks the requirement a coach signs off, and the button to ask is in the card under the list.
Before you ask
Your gym must be connected. Your request goes to the coaches at the gym your account is connected to. If Home shows "Connect your gym", connect your gym membership first. Until you do, no coach can see your request.
The patch must be in your working set. The button only appears on patches you're working on. If the patch shows Start working on this, tap that first. If it's paused, tap Resume. See Choose what to work on.
Earlier patches come first. If the patch shows "Comes after" and a patch name under its title, there's no ask button yet, even if the patch is in your working set. Finish that earlier patch, then ask.
One request covers every open coach requirement on the patch. The request lists them all, and your coach decides on them together. Ask when you're ready to show all of them.
Show it in class. Your coach makes the call at the gym, after watching you. Your note is a good place to say when you showed it.
Your other requirements can wait. You can ask before your classes or logged drills are done. The badge is earned once every requirement is complete.
Send a sign-off request
1
Show the skill to a coach in class.
Do it in front of a coach, the way the requirement describes.
2
Open the patch.
Tap it on Home, in Journey or in your Locker.
3
Scroll to the bottom and tap Ask coach to sign off.
The button is under the requirements, above Swap this patch and Pause.
4
Check what you're asking for.
The "Ask coach to sign off" sheet shows the patch name and "Your coach decides in class". It also lists every coach requirement this request covers.
The gray box lists each coach requirement the request covers.
5
Add a note if you want to.
Type it in "A note for your coach (optional)". The field asks "When did you show it, and with whom?", so mention the class and the coach who watched. Keep it under 1,000 characters. Your coach sees the note with your request.
A short note tells your coach when you showed the skill.
6
Tap Send to coach.
The sheet closes, and "Sent to your coach" appears near the bottom of the screen. The card on the patch now reads "Awaiting coach · sent today".
After you send, a confirmation appears at the bottom and the card shows "Awaiting coach" with your note under it.
Closing the sheet without sending
To back out, tap the X, tap outside the sheet or, on Android, press Back. Nothing is sent.
If you typed a note, it's still there when you open the sheet again, as long as you stay on the patch. Your note is cleared when you send the request or close the patch. If the app shows a message instead of sending, your note stays in the sheet.
While you wait
Your request now goes to your gym's coaches. You can't cancel or edit it, so the patch shows "Awaiting coach" until a coach decides.
Where
What you'll see
The card at the bottom of the patch
"Awaiting coach · sent today", which becomes "sent 1d ago", "sent 2d ago" and so on. Your note appears in quotes, followed by "Your coach decides in class. The moment they sign off, the patch is yours."
The patch's requirements list
An "Awaiting coach" tag on each coach requirement in your request.
Home
"Awaiting coach" under the percentage when the patch is "Your next win", or under its tile in "Also in progress".
Journey
"Awaiting coach" under the patch on your trail.
While your request waits, each coach requirement and your Home screen show "Awaiting coach".
Keep training while you wait. Your classes still count, and you can keep logging rounds on the same patch. If you pause the patch or swap it out, your request stays with your coach.
The card says "The moment they sign off, the patch is yours." That's true when everything else on the patch is already done. If something is still open when your coach signs off, you earn the badge once you finish it. See When your coach signs off.
Your request goes to the coaches and staff at your gym and shows up in their app, in the list of things waiting for a decision. Those who have notifications turned on also get an alert when you ask.
For each request, a coach sees:
your name and the patch
how long the request has been waiting
your note, if you wrote one
the patch's coach requirements, with their descriptions
The coach then approves the request or sends it back. To send it back, they have to pick at least one reason, and they can add a note for you.
When your coach signs off
Signing off ticks every coach requirement in your request at once. What happens next depends on what's still open on the patch.
If
Then
Everything else on the patch is already done
You've earned the badge. A full-screen celebration plays, and the patch shows "Earned" with the date.
Something is still open, like a drill to log or classes to attend
The coach requirements are ticked, and the patch stays in your working set. The requirements list shows what's still open. You earn the badge as soon as you finish the rest.
If you've turned on notifications, you'll get one with the patch name and "signed off", such as "Timing Titan signed off", followed by "Your coach approved it. Open the app to see it." If that sign-off also earned you the badge, a second notification starts with "You earned". Tap either one to open the patch. "Recent activity" on Home also shows "Coach signed off" followed by the patch name.
A sign-off notification names the patch, and tapping it opens that patch.
A "signed off" notification doesn't always mean you've earned the badge. Open the patch to check what's left.
The app checks for updates when you open it, when you come back to it, about every 20 seconds while it's open, and when you pull down on Home. That means the celebration can appear while you're using the app. Tap Continue to close it. See Celebrations.
When a sign-off completes a patch, the celebration names the patch you earned.
A send-back means "not yet". You haven't earned the badge yet, and you haven't lost anything. Your classes, logged rounds and finished requirements all stay.
The card at the bottom of the patch shows:
a red "Sent back" tag
a tag for each reason your coach picked
your coach's note in quotes, if they wrote one
"Nothing is lost. Put in the reps and ask again."
the Ask again button
"Sent back" also replaces "Awaiting coach" on Home and in Journey. If you've turned on notifications, you'll get one with the patch name and "needs another look", followed by "Your coach sent it back with notes. Open the app to see them."
A sent-back request shows your coach's reasons and note above the Ask again button.
What the reasons mean
Reason
What to do
"Not yet consistent"
Keep drilling until you can do it cleanly every time, then ask again.
"Technique needs work"
Read your coach's note, work on your form, then ask again.
"Have not seen it yet"
Your coach hasn't seen you do it yet. Show it in class, then ask again.
"Wrong patch for this"
Ask your coach which patch or requirement fits what you showed.
"Something else"
Read the note, or ask your coach at your next class.
Ask again
1
Put in the reps, then show the skill in class again.
2
Open the patch and tap Ask again.
3
If you like, add a note about what's changed. Then tap Ask again at the bottom of the sheet.
It's the same sheet as before. Only the button name is different.
After a send-back, the button in the sheet reads Ask again.
4
Check that the patch shows "Awaiting coach" again.
Your request goes back to the coaches at your gym.
Each patch can have only one request waiting at a time. While it waits, the "Awaiting coach" card takes the place of Ask coach to sign off, so there's nothing to tap twice. If a second request for the same patch does go out, for example from another phone, the app says "Your coach already has this one."
If a request for the same patch is already waiting, a message at the top says so.
You can have requests waiting on several patches at once, one per patch.

A banner at the top that says "memberNote" must be at most 1000 characters
Your note was too long, so the request didn't go through. "Awaiting coach" disappears from the patch a moment later.
Tap the banner to close it. Open the patch, ask again with a note under 1,000 characters, and check that it shows "Awaiting coach".
"That patch is not in this program."
The patch isn't part of your gym's current program.
Pull down on Home to refresh, then try again. If it keeps happening, talk to your gym.
A banner at the top that says "Could not reach the server — showing what we last saw."
Your request may not have gone through, even if the patch shows "Awaiting coach".
Reconnect, then tap the banner. If it changes to one that ends "Tap to retry.", tap it again. When the banner is gone, open the patch again. If it doesn't show "Awaiting coach", send the request again.
No. Once you send it, it shows "Awaiting coach" until a coach decides. If you forgot to mention something, tell your coach in class.
No. You can ask as soon as you're ready to show the skills. You earn the badge when every requirement on the patch is done.
A sign-off only ticks the coach requirements. Open the patch to see what's still open, such as a drill to log or classes to attend. You earn the badge as soon as you finish them.
No. Tap Start working on this first so the patch is in your working set.
It stays with your coach. To ask again after a send-back, tap Resume first.
Up to 1,000 characters. The field lets you type more, but a longer note is refused and your request doesn't reach your coach. Keep it short: the class, the day and the coach who watched.
No. Your note is still there when you open the sheet again, as long as you haven't closed the patch. It's cleared once you send the request.
No. One request covers every coach requirement still open on the patch, and your coach decides on them together.
When you earn a patch or a belt, Mayweather Patch stops what you're doing and plays a full-screen celebration. Each award gets its own celebration, and each one plays once. This article covers when it appears, what it shows and how to move on.
When a celebration plays
A celebration opens by itself. You don't need to go looking for it. It plays when a patch is earned in any of these ways:
You log the last round a patch needs. The celebration opens as soon as the app saves your round.
Your coach signs off the last requirement. If the patch still has rounds to log or classes to attend, it isn't earned yet. The celebration plays when the last of those is done.
A class finishes a patch. Class milestones and other attendance requirements count up when your gym's attendance updates reach the program.
Your coach awards you a patch directly, or adds missed classes to your record and that completes a patch.
You reach a membership milestone. If your gym's program has a patch for time as a member, you earn it once you've been a member long enough. Connecting your gym tells the program when your membership started, so this can happen the moment you connect. See Connect your gym membership.
It also plays when you earn a new belt. See Belt celebrations below.
The celebration opens over whatever screen you're on, whether that's Home, a patch's page or your settings.
If the round you log is the last thing a patch needs, the celebration opens as soon as the app saves it.
A sign-off notification asks you to open the app. If the sign-off finished the patch, the celebration plays there.
The screen is dark, even if your phone uses light mode. A glow blooms, your patch stamps into the middle of the screen and a burst of small dots flies out behind it. Your phone gives a few taps as it plays.
A patch celebration: the patch, the tier line, the patch name, the card about your physical patch and Continue.
From top to bottom, you'll see:

What it shows
The patch
The patch you earned, shown large.
The line above the name
A short line in capitals, in your gym's color. It starts with a belt name and ends with "tier patch earned".
The name
The patch name in large capitals.
The subtitle
The patch's short tagline, in gray.
The card
"Your physical patch is coming", and a line saying your coach hands it over at the gym.
Continue
Closes the celebration. It appears last.
Some patches don't have a photo. They appear as a metal medallion with an emblem in the middle. The rest of the screen is the same.
A patch without a photo appears as a medallion. Everything else on the screen works the same way.
A new belt gets the same full-screen moment, with a few differences:
Your belt's nameplate takes the place of the patch. It shows the belt's rank patch beside the belt name.
The line above the title reads "Belt earned".
The title reads "You are a" followed by your new belt's name.
The gray line under it is your belt's description.
The card at the bottom reads "Your rank patch is coming". Under it, a line says your coach signed for it, followed by "Sparring and the next tier of patches just opened up."
The belt celebration uses the same nameplate you see at the top of Your belt: the belt's rank patch beside its name.
If one moment earns you a patch and a belt together, the patch celebration plays first and the belt celebration follows. For how belts are earned, see Your belt and what comes next.
Close a celebration
1
Watch the moment play out.
Continue appears after about three seconds. Until then, tapping the screen does nothing. With Reduce Motion on, Continue is on screen from the start, but it doesn't respond for about a second and a half.
2
Tap Continue.
Your phone gives a light tap, the celebration fades away and you're back where you were.
3
If you earned more than one thing, the next celebration opens straight away.
Tap Continue on each one.
On iPhone, you can't swipe a celebration away. Continue is the only way out.
On Android, pressing Back closes the celebration straight away, even before Continue is ready. The award still counts as seen, so that celebration won't play again. Your patch or belt is still earned.
Several in a row
Celebrations play one at a time. One class or one sign-off can finish more than one patch, and each of them gets its own celebration. If a new award comes through while a celebration is on screen, it waits its turn.
Many awards happen while your phone is in your pocket. Your coach signs something off after class, or a class you attended finishes a milestone once your gym's attendance updates reach the program.
Patches celebrate the next time you open the app, or when you switch back to it. The app checks for news as soon as it opens, again whenever you come back to it, and about every 20 seconds while it's open. You can also pull down on Home to check straight away.
Belts celebrate when the app picks up the new belt while it's open or when you switch back to it. If the app was fully closed when your belt came through, the celebration may not play. Your new belt still shows on Home and on Your belt.
Missing a celebration never costs you anything. The award is saved the moment it's earned.
After the celebration
Your new patch is in your Locker under "Earned", with the date you earned it. Its page shows "Earned" and the date in place of the requirements count. See Your Locker.
The patch you earned sits in your Locker's Earned list with its date.
The card on the celebration told you a physical patch is coming. Open the patch's page and scroll to "Your patch" to follow it. Your coach checks it first, then hands it over at the gym. See Picking up your physical patches.
Straight after you earn a patch, "Your patch" reads "Patch: coach reviewing". The patch already counts toward your progress.
When Reduce Motion is on (on iPhone) or Remove animations is on (on Android), nothing on the celebration animates. The whole screen appears at once, already finished.

With VoiceOver or TalkBack on, move through the screen to hear what you earned, then the card, then Continue.
Until Continue is ready, it's marked as unavailable, so your screen reader may call it dimmed or disabled. Wait a moment, then try again.
The glow, the dots and the shine are decoration only. There's nothing in them for your screen reader to read.
Larger Text makes the words bigger. The large name and the line above it stop growing sooner than the rest of the text.
Common questions
No. Each patch and each belt is celebrated once. Afterwards you can find the patch in your Locker and on your Journey. On its page, tap Turn badge to see the date engraved on the back.
It isn't ready yet. Continue appears after about three seconds and works as soon as it appears. With Reduce Motion on, it's on screen from the start but doesn't respond for about a second and a half. Wait a moment, then tap it again.
A sign-off completes only the requirements your coach checks. If the patch still has rounds to log or classes to attend, it isn't earned yet. Open the patch's page to see what's left. If everything is done, bring the app to the front or pull down on Home. The app checks for news whenever you open it.
If your phone lost its connection as you tapped Continue, the app may not have recorded that you saw it, so it can play again next time. If you're signed in on two phones at once, each may show it. Either way, you earned the patch once.
No. Back only closes the celebration. The patch is still earned and shows in your Locker and on your Journey. That celebration won't play again.
Your coach checks it first, then hands it over at the gym. Follow it under "Your patch" on the patch's page. See Picking up your physical patches.
You can't follow it in the app. A belt has no "Your patch" section, and the card shows the same words for every belt. Ask your coach or the front desk whether your gym hands out a rank patch for your belt.
Not necessarily. That line is the same for every belt. What you can work on next depends on your gym's program, so check Your belt and your Journey, or ask your coach.
Train is your training journal. It shows how many classes count toward your gym's program, which of the last seven days you trained, and a dated list of the classes the program has recorded. You don't book classes here. Book through your gym as usual, and your classes show up on Train once your gym's attendance has been updated.
Open Train
Tap Train in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. It's the third tab, between Journey and Locker.
You can also get there from Home:
Tap the "Program classes" number or the "Weekly streak" number.
Tap See all next to "Recent activity".
A tour of Train
1
Your class count. Under the "Train" heading, the big number is how many classes count in your program, for example "103". Small counts get a leading zero, so a new member sees "00".
The big number is your program class count. This sample member was added by their gym, so the line under it says check-ins aren't syncing.
2
The status line. The short line under the count tells you how your classes reach the app and how fresh that information is. See What the status line means.
3
Last 7 days. This card shows which of the last seven days you trained, with today on the right. Tap anywhere on the card, including Calendar at its top right, to open your activity calendar. See The Last 7 days card.
Below the Last 7 days card sits the booking note, then Recent classes with the View all link.
4
The booking note. "Book classes through your gym. ClubReady-linked check-ins appear here after sync." ClubReady is the system your gym uses for memberships and attendance.
5
Recent classes. The classes the program has recorded are listed here, newest first, up to your 400 most recent. Tap View all to open the month-by-month activity calendar.
Each recorded class shows its date, the day and time in your gym's time zone, and a Recorded check.
Your class count
The big number, "Classes in your program", is the class count your gym's program uses. Patches that ask for a total number of classes read from this one count, and every recorded class adds one.
It only counts classes since your gym attendance was connected to the program. Classes from before that don't count, so if you've trained at your gym for years, this number can be much lower than your gym's own total.
While the app loads your record, the number shows "…". Home shows the same count as "Program classes".
The line says
What it means
What to do
"Attendance updated 9 hours ago" (any time)
Your gym's check-ins reach the program automatically. The time shows when your gym's attendance was last updated, not when you last trained
Nothing. New classes arrive with the next update
"Attendance never synced"
Your account is linked to your gym, but no attendance update has reached it yet
Keep training. Your classes appear after the first update
"Saved and staff-recorded classes are shown. ClubReady check-ins are not syncing."
Your gym added you to the program, but your gym membership isn't linked yet. Classes staff add for you still count, but new check-ins won't arrive on their own
"Connect your gym to bring your class attendance into the program."
Your account isn't connected to a gym, so your classes aren't counting yet
Tap Connect your gym under the line
"Loading your attendance record."

The card covers today and the six days before it. It isn't a Monday-to-Sunday week. Each day shows its weekday letter and date, and today's pill has an outline in your gym's color.
The number at the top counts days you trained, not classes. Two classes on one day count as one day here.
On a day
What it means
A checkmark on a colored pill
At least one class was recorded that day
A gray pill with a small dot
Your gym's attendance covers that day, and no class was recorded. A rest day
A dashed outline with no dot
The program has no attendance data for that day, so it can't say whether you trained
Today's pill can show a gray dot on a day you train. That happens when your gym's attendance was updated earlier the same day, before your class. The class shows after the next update.
The words next to the number tell you how complete the week is:
"active days" means every one of the seven days is tracked.
"days recorded" means some days aren't tracked yet. Checkmarks still show the classes that were recorded.
"Activity unknown", with no number, means there's no attendance data to show.
The line at the bottom of the card says the same thing in words:
The card says
What it means
"Checkmarks show your recorded training days."
All seven days are tracked
"Some days were not tracked."
At least one day isn't covered. Today stays untracked until your gym's attendance has been updated on today's date. Days before your tracking started aren't covered either
"Connect your gym to track activity."
Your account isn't connected to a gym
"Updating activity…"
The card is loading. Anything it already had stays on screen
"Activity unavailable"
The card couldn't load your attendance
Tap the card to open the activity calendar on the current month. There you can tap a day to see how many classes were recorded that day.
The activity calendar opens on this month. Highlighted days are days a class was recorded.
Each row is one recorded class:
The date on the left, such as "SEP" over "14".
"Completed class", with the day and time underneath. The day reads "Today", "Yesterday" or a date such as "Mon, Sep 14". Times use your gym's time zone, not your phone's.
"Recorded" with a checkmark. It means the program has recorded the class.
Rows don't show the class name, the coach or the location, and you can't tap them. If you trained twice in one day, you see two rows.
Train doesn't show what each class added to your progress. "Recent activity" on Home shows your three newest events, and a class appears there as "Attended a class", with a line such as "+1 class · 104 total".
If a row shows "DATE" and "Loading gym-local time…", the app is still loading your gym's time zone. If it says "Gym-local time unavailable", pull down to refresh.
How classes reach Train
Classes come from your gym's own attendance records, not from the app. Mayweather Patch doesn't know you've trained until your gym has recorded the class.
Book and attend your class the way you always do.
Your gym records the class as completed.
The program collects new attendance from your gym once a day, usually overnight. After that update, the class shows on Train, your count goes up and your patch progress moves.
A class you take today may not show until the next day. If your membership is linked, the status line under your count tells you when your gym's attendance was last updated.
If a newly recorded class completes a patch, a celebration opens the next time the app refreshes. See Celebrations.
A class your coach adds shows up the next time the app refreshes. It's listed on the day your coach added it, not the day you trained. On Home it appears as "Class added by your coach".
Booking classes
Mayweather Patch has no class schedule and no booking. Book through your gym the way you usually do. The note on Train says the same: "Book classes through your gym. ClubReady-linked check-ins appear here after sync."
If no classes have been recorded yet, a card shows under "Recent classes" in place of the list.
A new member added by their gym: the count starts at "00", and no days have been recorded yet.
The card says
What it means
What to do
"No classes recorded yet" and "Classes completed after you connect your gym will appear here after attendance syncs."
You're connected, and no class has come through yet
Keep training. Tap Refresh record to check again
"No classes recorded yet" and "No saved or staff-recorded classes are available. ClubReady check-ins are not connected."
Your gym added you, but your membership isn't linked, and no classes have been added
"Your classes start here" and "Link your membership, then keep training at your gym."
Your account isn't connected to a gym
Tap Connect your gym near the top of Train
"Waiting for your record" and "Refresh to try loading your progress again."
The app hasn't loaded your record yet
Tap Refresh record
While the app is refreshing, Refresh record changes to Refreshing.
If your gym isn't connected
Until your account is connected, Train says "Connect your gym to bring your class attendance into the program." A Connect your gym button sits under that line. The Last 7 days card reads "Activity unknown", with every day dashed, and the card at the bottom reads "Your classes start here".
Before you connect, Train points you to Connect your gym, and the week shows "Activity unknown".
Tap Connect your gym and follow the steps. Your classes don't count until you do. See Connect your gym membership.
Refreshing Train
Pull down anywhere on Train to refresh. A spinner shows at the top while the app reloads your record, and anything that has changed updates: your count, the status line, the Last 7 days card and your classes. The app also refreshes by itself when you open it, when you come back to it, and about every 20 seconds while it's open, so you may see the spinner appear on its own now and then.
If the app couldn't refresh your record or load your attendance, Train keeps showing your last saved record and adds a block with an amber line down its side. It's titled "Your record needs a refresh" and gives a short reason, for example "Showing your last saved attendance. New classes may not appear yet." or "Attendance could not be loaded."
If the app can't reach the server, a banner also appears at the top of the screen: "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry."
The banner sits at the top of every screen, here over Home, and your last saved information stays underneath.
1
Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data.
2
Tap Try again in the block, tap the banner, or pull down on Train.
3
The block and the banner go away once a refresh succeeds. If they stay, see Troubleshooting.
Good to know
No. Book through your gym the way you normally do. Your class shows on Train after your gym records it and the next attendance update runs.
Your gym's attendance reaches the program once a day, usually overnight, so today's class may not show until tomorrow. The status line under your count shows when attendance was last updated. Pulling down won't bring it in sooner.
Train only counts classes since your gym attendance was connected to the program. Classes from before that aren't included.
A gray dot means your gym's data covers that day and no class was recorded. A dashed outline means the program has no data for that day yet, so it can't tell whether you trained.
Yes. Train lists them as two rows, and the activity calendar shows "2 recorded classes" for that day. The Last 7 days card counts the day once, because it counts days, not classes.
On Home, in the row of numbers under your next win. Tapping it opens Train, but Train doesn't show the streak itself.
Wait for the next attendance update, then pull down to refresh. If it's still missing a couple of days later, tell a coach. They can add it for you.
The activity calendar shows your training one month at a time. It highlights each day with a recorded class and tells you how many classes you took that day. It also shows which days the app has no attendance data for, so a gap is never mistaken for a missed day.
Open the calendar
The calendar lives behind the Train tab.
1
Tap Train at the bottom of the screen.
2
Tap the "Last 7 days" card. The whole card opens the calendar, not only the Calendar link in its corner.
Tap anywhere on the Last 7 days card to open the calendar. Dashed days are days the app has no attendance data for.
3
You can also scroll down to "Recent classes" and tap View all.
View all, next to Recent classes, opens the same calendar.
4
When you're done, tap Back to Train at the top.
Both ways open the calendar on the current month.
The Last 7 days card
The card on Train is a short preview of the calendar. It covers today and the six days before it, and its big number counts days you trained, not classes. A checkmark means a class was recorded, a gray pill with a dot is a rest day, and a dashed outline means the app has no attendance data for that day. Every state and message on the card is explained in The Last 7 days card.
Reading a month
Highlighted days have a recorded class, faint days haven't happened yet, and the note at the bottom names your gym's time zone.
At the top, a summary card shows the month at a glance:
On the left: "This month" when you're looking at the current month, or the month's name, such as "August 2026". Under it is how many days had a recorded class, such as "5 active days" or "1 active day".
On the right: "Classes", with the total number of classes recorded that month. A day with two classes adds two here.
Below that is the calendar itself. Weeks start on Monday. The grid always shows six rows, so a few days from the months before and after fill the edges.
A day that looks like this
Means
Tap it and Day details reads
Highlighted, with an outline and a small dot under it
At least one class was recorded
"1 recorded class", or "2 recorded classes" and so on
Plain
The day was tracked and no class was recorded
"No recorded visits"
Dimmed
The app has no attendance data for that day
"Attendance was not tracked for this day"
Very faint, later in the month
The day hasn't happened yet
"This day has not happened yet"
Very faint, at the edge of the grid
The day belongs to the month before or after
You can't tap these days
Filled in solid
The day you picked
That day's details
A day with a class is marked by its outline and dot as well as its highlight, so you don't have to rely on the highlight alone.
Check a single day
1
Tap any day in the month. It fills in solid.
2
Read the "Day details" card under the calendar. Its title changes from "Day details" to the full date, such as "Monday, September 14", and the line below tells you what was recorded. The table above lists every message.
3
Tap another day to see its details instead.
Before you pick a day, the card reads "Choose a day to see its recorded class count." Moving to another month clears your pick.
Two classes in one day
The calendar highlights a day once, however many classes you took. Tap the day to see the count, for example "2 recorded classes". Both classes count toward your program:
The "Classes" total at the top of the calendar includes both.
"Active days" and the Last 7 days card count the day once.
Train lists each class as its own row under "Recent classes".
Rest days and untracked days
The calendar treats these two kinds of days differently.
A rest day is plain in the calendar and gray with a dot in the Last 7 days card. The app has attendance data for that day, and no class was recorded.
An untracked day is dimmed in the calendar and dashed in the Last 7 days card. The app has no attendance data for that day, so it can't say whether you trained.
A day can be untracked for a few reasons:
It's before your tracking began. Tracking starts on the latest of three dates: the day your account joined your gym in the app, the day your account was linked to your gym's check-ins, and the day your gym's attendance tracking began. Earlier days are dimmed.
Your gym's latest attendance sync hasn't reached it yet. This is common for today. Today, and any day since the last sync, can look dimmed or show no visits until the next sync brings in your classes.
Your account isn't linked to your gym's check-ins. This can happen when your gym added you to the program by hand. Train then reads "Saved and staff-recorded classes are shown. ClubReady check-ins are not syncing." Days with a recorded class are still highlighted, and every other day up to today is dimmed. Ask your gym if you expected your classes to be tracked automatically.
This account isn't linked to the gym's check-ins, so only the class days are highlighted and every other day up to today is dimmed.
A class that was recorded always shows, even on a day that is otherwise untracked.
Move between months
1
Tap the arrow to the left of the month name to go back one month. The summary card switches to that month's name and totals.
After you go back a month, the summary names the month and the right arrow works again.
2
Tap the arrow to the right of the month name to move forward again.
3
Tap Back to Train to leave the calendar.
A dimmed arrow can't be tapped:
Arrow
Dimmed when
Right arrow
You're on the current month. You can't move into future months
Left arrow
You've reached your earliest month, or your account isn't connected to a gym
Both arrows
The month is loading or checking for changes
How far back you can go
You can go back to the month your attendance tracking began. If your account isn't linked to your gym's check-ins, you can go back to the month of your earliest recorded class instead. In that case, the left arrow stays dimmed until you have a recorded class.
The calendar uses your gym's time zone, not your phone's. That decides which date a class lands on, when "today" begins and where each month starts and ends. It's the same on Train and on the Last 7 days card.
When your gym's attendance has synced, a note at the bottom of the calendar names the time zone, for example "Attendance uses America/Denver gym time." The calendar still uses your gym's time when the note isn't there.
If you're traveling, or your phone is set to another time zone, a late class can land on a different date from the one your phone shows. Near midnight at the end of a month, the calendar can open on your phone's month for a moment, then switch to your gym's month.
When your classes show up
Your classes reach the program through your gym's attendance sync, which runs once a day, usually overnight. A class you took today may not appear until then.
The calendar doesn't refresh when you pull down. Each time you open it, it checks for the latest version of the month. It also updates on its own when new classes reach your account while it's open.
Pulling down on Train refreshes your record, but it doesn't make your gym sync sooner. It only fetches what the program already has.
Recorded classes don't send you a notification.
If a coach adds a class that didn't come through, it shows on the day they added it, not the day you trained.
If a class is still missing after the next day, ask a coach. They can add it for you.
If you haven't connected your gym
Until your account is connected to your gym, the app can't see your classes. The Last 7 days card reads "Activity unknown" with dashed days. The calendar shows "Activity unknown" and "—" in the summary, with "Connect your gym" and "Link your membership to bring completed classes into this calendar." where the month would be.
Left: Train before your gym is connected. Right: the calendar asks you to connect instead of showing a month.
Tap Connect your gym to link your membership. The left arrow stays dimmed until you do. See Connect your gym membership.
You see
What it means
What to do
"Loading activity…" where the month would be
The month is loading, and the app hasn't loaded it before
Wait a moment. The arrows work again once it loads
"Activity unavailable" and Try again
The month couldn't load, and the app has no earlier copy of it
Check your connection, then tap Try again
"Couldn't refresh this month. Showing the last recorded activity." at the bottom
The latest check failed, so you're seeing the copy of the month the app loaded earlier
Check your connection, then leave the calendar and open it again
"Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." at the top of the screen
The app can't reach the server
Tap the banner to try again once you're back online
While the app stays open, a month you've already viewed shows right away while the app checks for changes. For more help, see Troubleshooting.
Using a screen reader
With VoiceOver or TalkBack on, each day is read with its date and status, for example "Monday, September 14, 1 recorded class" or "Tuesday, September 15, no recorded visits". The arrows are read as "Previous month" and "Next month", and your screen reader tells you when one can't be used. On Train, the Last 7 days card is read as "Open activity calendar", followed by a summary of your week. See Accessibility.
Your gym's attendance syncs once a day, usually overnight. Until the next sync brings in today's classes, today can look dimmed or read "No recorded visits", even if you trained. Your class appears after that sync.
The class hasn't reached the program yet, or it wasn't recorded. Check again after the next overnight sync. If it's still missing, ask a coach. They can add it for you.
The calendar uses your gym's time zone, so a class near midnight, or while you're traveling, can land on a different date from the one your phone shows. A class a coach added for you shows on the day they added it.
The calendar starts at the month your tracking began. If your account isn't linked to your gym's check-ins, it starts at the month of your earliest recorded class.
Active days count each day once. The "Classes" total counts every class, so a day with two classes adds one active day and two classes.
Your Locker holds every patch in your gym's program. It shows how many badges you've earned, how many physical patches you've collected, and where you stand with each patch. Tap any patch to open it.
Open your Locker
Tap Locker, the last tab at the bottom of the screen.
On Home, tap "Badges earned" in your training record.
On Home, tap the pickup line when a physical patch is waiting for you.
Tap the circle with your initials at the top of Home to open You. Then tap the Locker card under "Your wall". The card sums up your collection, for example "7 of 16 badges · 4 patches received".
Tap a notification saying several of your patches were handed over. Most other patch notifications open that patch instead.
A tour from top to bottom
1
The counter. The big number at the top right shows how many badges you've earned, and the line under it gives the total in your gym's program, for example "07" and "of 16 earned". The total counts every patch in the program, including any class milestone patches.
The top of the Locker: your count of earned badges, your physical patches, the filter and your newest badges first.
2
Your physical patches. The line under the title counts the physical patches you've confirmed you have, for example "4 physical patches collected. Your work, on display." Until you confirm your first one, it reads "Your work, one patch at a time."
3
The pickup line. When your coach has a physical patch ready for you, or has handed one over, a line appears here. See The pickup line below.
4
The filter. All, Earned and In progress change what the list shows. See Filter your collection.
5
Your patches. The rest of the screen is a grid of patches, grouped into sections. Each section heading shows how many patches it holds on the right, for example "07".
A badge is the digital record that you've earned a patch. The physical patch is the one your coach hands to you, and it only counts as collected once you confirm you have it. That's why the counter and the line under the title can show different numbers.
The four sections
With All selected, your patches sit in up to four sections, in this order. A section only appears when it has something in it.
Section
What's in it
Under each patch
Earned
Badges you've earned, newest first
The day you earned it, for example "Sep 13"
In progress
The patches you're working on right now
How far along you are, for example "40% complete", with a small bar
Ready to start
Patches that are open to you but not in your working set
"Ready to start"
Still to come
Patches that aren't open to you yet
A small lock and "Locked"
If the app doesn't have a picture of a patch, a round metal medallion appears in its place. It works the same way.
Earned
Your newest badge comes first. The date under each patch leaves out the year. Open the patch to see the full date, for example "Earned Sep 13, 2026".
A badge counts here the moment you earn it, even while your coach still has the physical patch. To check where a physical patch is, open it and look at "Your patch". See Picking up your physical patches.
In progress
This section shows the patches in your working set. A patch you've paused doesn't appear here.
The percentage is an average across all the patch's requirements, and a requirement you're partway through counts partly. For example, if one requirement asks for a number of classes and you've done half of them, that requirement counts as half done. The bar under the percentage fills to match.
The Locker doesn't show whether you're waiting on a coach. Open the patch to see if a sign-off is "Awaiting coach" or "Sent back". See Ask a coach to sign off.
Further down, each patch you're working on shows how complete it is, with a small bar under the percentage.
Ready to start
A patch is ready to start when you've earned every patch that comes before it, and it isn't too far above your belt. Open one and tap Start working on this to add it to your working set. See Choose what to work on.
Left: the "Ready to start" section, with "Ready to start" under each patch. Right: at the bottom of a patch that's ready to start, Start working on this adds it to your working set.
Two other kinds of patch also show up here:
Patches you've paused. Open one and tap Resume to put it back in your working set. Your progress is still there.
Patches you don't start yourself, such as class milestone patches. These are earned automatically when you reach the target, for example a number of classes. Open one to see your count so far.
Still to come
These patches aren't open to you yet, for one of two reasons. You may need to earn another patch first, or the patch may belong to a higher belt. You can still open a locked patch to see its requirements. The line under its name tells you which reason applies:
"Comes after …" names the patch to finish first. Classes you attend now still count toward the locked patch.
"Unlocks at …" names the belt the patch belongs to. You can work one belt ahead of the one you hold, so it opens as you move up.
When a physical patch needs you to do something, a tinted line appears under the line beneath the title, above the filter. The same line appears on Home. It disappears once nothing is waiting.
The same line at the top of your Locker. Left: your coach has a patch ready for you. Right: your coach has handed a patch over, and the app wants you to confirm you got it.
The line says
What it means
What to do
"Your patch is ready — see Coach at your next class"
Your coach approved your patch, and it's waiting for you
Collect it at your next class
"2 patches ready — see Coach at your next class" (any number)
More than one patch is waiting
Collect them at your next class
"Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it"
Your coach has marked one or more patches as handed to you, and none are waiting to be collected
Confirm each one, as described below
If one patch is waiting to be collected and another is waiting for you to confirm, the line shows the "ready" message. Check your recent badges for one that reads "Patch: handed over — confirm".
Tapping the line from Home brings you to your Locker. The line doesn't name the patch, so open your most recent badges under "Earned" to find it. Its "Your patch" section shows "Patch: waiting with Coach" or "Patch: handed over — confirm".
If a badge has no physical patch, it never shows up here. A patch your coach hasn't reviewed yet doesn't show here either.
Confirm you got your patch
1
Under "Earned", tap the patch your coach handed over.
2
Scroll down to "Your patch". It reads "Patch: handed over — confirm".
"Your patch" asks you to confirm the patch made it into your hands.
3
Tap I've got it.
Once the app has saved it, the status changes to "Patch received". Back in your Locker, your count of physical patches collected goes up by one.
You can't tap I've got it while the app can't reach the server. If saving fails, the app shows "Could not confirm receipt. Try again."
A sample new member: nothing earned yet, a first patch in progress and the rest still to come.
When you're new, the counter reads "00" and the line under the title reads "Your work, one patch at a time." There's no "Earned" section until you earn your first badge.
If your gym's program starts you on a first patch, it's already under "In progress", for example at "0% complete". Many other patches may sit under "Still to come" at first. Each one opens once you've earned the patches that come before it and it's within reach of your belt.
If your gym hasn't published its program yet, the Locker reads "Your collection starts here" and "Your patches will appear when this gym publishes its program." The filter doesn't appear until there are patches to show.
When you've earned every patch in your gym's program, all your patches sit under "Earned". A trophy and "Every badge earned. A full collection." appear at the bottom of the list.
At a very large text size, the counter moves under the title and the patches line up in a single column.
The Locker makes room for larger text:
At larger text sizes, the grid changes from three columns to two.
At the largest accessibility sizes, it changes to one column, and the counter moves under the title.
Patch names wrap onto more lines instead of shrinking.
With a screen reader on:
The counter is read as one item, for example "7 of 16 badges earned".
Each filter button is read with its count and whether it's selected, for example "Earned, 7 badges".
Each patch is read as its name and status. Examples are "Jab & Cross, earned Jul 29, 2026", "Timing Titan, in progress, 17% complete", "Hit & Move, available" and "Real, locked". The hint says the patch "Opens this badge and its requirements".
The Locker doesn't have pull to refresh. The app updates it on its own when you open the app, when you switch back to the app, and about every 20 seconds while the app is open. A coach's approval or hand-over shows up without a restart.
If the app can't reach the server, a banner appears at the top of the screen: "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." Your Locker keeps showing what it last loaded. Check your connection, then tap the banner to try again. For more help, see Troubleshooting.
When you earn a badge in Mayweather Patch, a real patch usually comes with it. The patches are velcro, so they go straight onto your gloves. This article follows a patch from the moment you earn the badge to the moment you confirm you have it.
Badge first, patch second
Your badge and your physical patch move separately.
The badge is yours the moment you finish the last requirement. It counts toward your progress straight away, and nothing that happens to the physical patch changes that.
The physical patch follows the badge. Your coach looks it over, keeps it ready for you at the gym and hands it to you in person. Then you confirm in the app that you have it.
To see where a patch is, open it from your Locker and scroll to "Your patch". That section shows the status of that one patch.
Where your patch is
The "Your patch" section shows a status chip, with a line underneath that tells you more. Some statuses also put a line on your Home screen and in your Locker.

None
Nothing. It's yours.
"Needs another look"
Your coach's reason, then "Your badge stands — nothing is taken back. Show it once more in class and the patch follows."
Some screenshots in this guide show a sample coach's first name in these lines.
Follow a patch from badge to gloves
1
Earn the badge.
A celebration opens in the app. The card at the bottom says "Your physical patch is coming" and "Your coach hands it over at the gym." Tap Continue.
The card at the bottom of the celebration tells you a physical patch is on its way.
2
Wait while your coach reviews the patch.
Open the patch from your Locker. Under "Your patch" you'll see "Patch: coach reviewing". Nothing shows on Home yet, and you don't need to do anything.
While your coach reviews the patch, the badge is already earned and counting.
3
Watch for the ready message.
When your coach approves the patch, you get a notification if they're turned on, and a line appears on Home under your training record: "Your patch is ready — see Coach at your next class". The patch's own page now says "Patch: waiting with Coach".
The pickup line sits between your training record and the patches you're working on.
4
Collect the patch at your next class.
Ask your coach for it. The ready notification says your patch is waiting at the front desk, so you can ask there too.
5
Wait for your coach to mark it handed over.
After they give you the patch, your coach marks it as handed over. You get another notification, and the line on Home changes to "Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it".
Once your coach marks the patch as handed over, the line on Home asks you to confirm.
6
Open the patch and tap I've got it.
The quickest way is to tap the notification. You can also tap the line on Home, which opens your Locker, then tap the patch.
The confirm button appears only after your coach marks the patch as handed over.
7
Check that the chip now says "Patch received".
The line below it shows the date you confirmed, and your phone may give a short buzz. The line on Home goes away once no other patch is waiting for you or waiting for you to confirm.
The green chip means the patch is in your hands.
Confirm you have your patch
Tap I've got it only when the patch is actually in your hands. Once you confirm, you can't undo it in the app.
You can reach the button three ways:
Tap the notification. It opens that patch's page. If your coach handed over several patches at once, it opens your Locker instead.
Tap the line on Home. It opens your Locker.
Open your Locker yourself. Then tap the patch.
The same line appears near the top of your Locker, above the filters.
After you confirm, the line under your Locker title counts the patch, for example "4 physical patches collected. Your work, on display."
The line under the Locker title counts the physical patches you've confirmed.
If confirming doesn't work:
"Could not confirm receipt. Try again." The app couldn't save it. Wait a moment and tap I've got it again. If you've lost your connection, a bar at the top may also say "Could not confirm this action. Reconnect and refresh before trying again." Tap the bar to close it.
The button is grayed out. The app can't reach the server, and a bar at the top says "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." Once you're back online, tap the bar to retry, then try again.
Sometimes your coach holds a patch back for now. The chip turns red and says "Needs another look". Under it, your coach's reason appears in quotes. It lists the reasons they picked, such as "Technique needs work", followed by their note if they wrote one.
Your coach's words are quoted under the red chip, and the badge stays earned.
If notifications are on, you also get one: "(patch name) needs another look" with "Your coach left feedback in the app."
Here's what that means for you:
Your badge stands. It stays earned and still counts toward your progress.
Read the reason. It tells you what your coach wants. If it's about a skill, show it again in class.
You don't need to do anything in the app. There's no button to ask again for a patch. When your coach is happy, they approve it, the status changes to "Patch: waiting with Coach", and you get a notification.
This is different from a sign-off request that comes back "Sent back". That happens before you've earned the badge, and it has an Ask again button. Its notification has the same title, but the line under it says "Your coach sent it back with notes. Open the app to see them." See Ask a coach to sign off.
If notifications are on, Mayweather Patch tells you when your patch moves. Tapping one opens the page of the patch it's about. A notification about several patches handed over at once opens your Locker instead.
Notification
When you get it
"Your patch is ready" with "(patch name) is waiting for you at the front desk."
Your coach approved your patch and it's ready to collect.
"3 patches are ready" (any number) with "(patch name) and 2 more are waiting for you at the front desk."
Several patches are ready to collect together.
"(patch name) approved" with "Your patch is in the pickup queue."
Your coach approved another patch while one was already waiting, or your patches are being held to collect together.
"(patch name) handed over" with "Confirm in the app that the patch reached you."
Your coach marked the patch as handed over.
"Your patch was handed over" or "2 patches were handed over" (any number) with "Confirm in the app that they reached you."
Your coach marked all your waiting patches as handed over at once.
"(patch name) needs another look" with "Your coach left feedback in the app."
Your coach is holding the patch back for now.
The ready notification names the patch that's waiting for you.
The notification mentions the front desk, and the app tells you to see your coach. Either way, ask at your next class.
If you've turned notifications off, the app still keeps you posted. The "Your patch" section on each patch shows where it is, and the line on Home and in your Locker still appears when a patch is ready or handed over. See Notifications.
Several ready at once. The line says "2 patches ready — see Coach at your next class", with your number.
Several handed over. The line still says "Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it", even for more than one. Confirm each patch on its own page. There's no button that confirms them all.
One ready and one handed over. The line shows the ready message, so it won't remind you about the one to confirm. If your coach has given you a patch, open your recently earned patches and look for I've got it.
"1 of 3 patches banked with Coach". This gray line, with your numbers, means your patches are being held so you can collect them together. When the set is complete, the line changes to the ready message and you get a notification. There's no setting for this in the app.
What you see
What to do
The app says your patch was handed over, but you don't have it
Don't tap I've got it. Tell your coach at your next class.
You tapped I've got it by mistake
You can't undo it in the app. Let your coach know.
You earned a badge, but there's no pickup line on Home
The line only shows once a patch is ready or handed over. Open the patch and check "Your patch". It may still say "Patch: coach reviewing" or "Needs another look".
"Patch: coach reviewing" has been there a while
Your coach hasn't reviewed it yet. Ask about it at your next class.
Your coach handed you the patch, but the app hasn't changed
The app checks for updates when you open it and every so often while it's open. On Home, pull down to refresh. If a bar at the top says it can't reach the server, tap it. If nothing changes, your coach may not have marked it as handed over yet.
The patch has no "Your patch" section
If a badge has no physical patch, its page says "This is a digital badge. It counts toward your progress and has no physical patch to collect." The celebration card mentions a physical patch for every badge, so go by the patch's own page. Your gym's program decides which badges come with a patch.
No. Where your physical patch is has no effect on your belt progress. A patch waiting with your coach never holds you back.
That's the normal first step. A patch your coach gives you directly goes through the same pickup steps as any other patch you earn. It starts at "Patch: coach reviewing". When your coach approves it, it changes to "Patch: waiting with Coach", and you collect it at your next class. The badge is already yours and counts toward your progress.
The patches are velcro, so they attach to your gloves.
Not in the app. There's no setting for it.
No. Your badge stands, and nothing is taken back. Only the physical patch waits.
Open You from Home to check your profile, change the name your coach sees, jump to your Locker, finish connecting your gym and see when the app last refreshed.
You is the screen for your profile and account. It isn't one of the tabs at the bottom of the app. You open it from Home. From there you can fix your name, open your Locker, finish connecting your gym and see how fresh your information is.
Open You
1
Go to Home. At the top right is a circle with your initials. Tap it.
The circle with your initials at the top right of Home opens You.
2
A screen titled "You" opens. Scroll down to see all of it.
3
To return to Home, tap the back button at the top left.
If you use a screen reader, the circle is read as "Profile and settings".
What's on You
From top to bottom:
Section
What it's for
Profile card
Your name, gym, member date, belt and badge count.
"Your name"
Change the name your coach sees and the app uses.
"Your wall"
A summary of your Locker, with a shortcut to it.
"Your gym"
Finish connecting your gym. This section only appears until you're fully connected.
"Account"
Sign out or delete your account.
Links and status lines
Help and policy pages, the service the app is connected to, when the app last refreshed, and how your gym is connected.
Your profile card
Your belt and badge count sit under a thin line in the profile card, above the name fields.
The card at the top shows:
Your initials in a circle. If your account has no name at all, the circle shows a dot.
Your name, first and last.
Your gym. If you haven't connected a gym yet, this line shows the email you signed in with.
"Member since" and a date. It starts as the day you created your account. When you connect your gym membership, it can change to the join date your gym has on record.
Your belt, in a chip such as "Contender belt". Your gym's program decides the belt names.
How many badges you've earned, for example "7 badges earned". If your gym's program has optional side quests, they aren't included in this number.
"No belt on record" and "Ask the front desk for help"
The app has no belt on record for you. This can mean your record hasn't loaded yet, so check the status lines at the bottom of You first (see below).
If you see "No belt on record", scroll to the bottom of You before you go to the front desk:
"Not refreshed yet" or "Offline — showing what we last saw": the app hasn't loaded your record yet, so it has no belt to show. Check your connection, then go back to Home and pull down to refresh. Open You again and look at your belt.
"Last refreshed" with a recent time: the app has loaded your record and there's still no belt on it. Ask your front desk to sort it out.
Change your name
The name under "Your name" is the one your coach sees on their roster. It's also the name the app uses for you, for example in "Good to see you" on Home. As the screen says: "This is what your coach sees on their roster, and what the app calls you."
1
Under "Your name", tap First name and type the name you want.
Tap a name field and the keyboard opens. The Save name button is under the fields.
2
Tap the next key on the keyboard to move to Last name. Type your last name, or leave it empty if you go by one name.
3
Tap Save name. You can also tap the keyboard's done key in Last name. That saves too, as long as you changed something.
4
Your new name appears at the top of You straight away, and Save name dims again. The app doesn't show a confirmation message.
A few rules:
First name is required. If the field is empty, it turns red and says "A first name is required." You can't save until you enter one.
Last name is optional.
Each name can be up to 80 characters.
Save name stays dimmed until you change something.
Save before you leave. If you leave You without saving, your change is lost.
If a save fails, a banner at the top of the screen says so. The next time the app refreshes, it shows the name that's actually saved. Check your connection, look at the name at the top of You, and save again if it changed back.
Under "Your wall", the "Locker" card sums up your collection in one line, for example "7 of 16 badges · 4 patches received".
The Locker card, the Your gym row and the Account section on You.
"7 of 16 badges" is how many badges you've earned out of all the badges in your gym's program.
"4 patches received" counts physical patches you've confirmed you got. A patch that's still waiting for you, or that your coach handed over before you confirmed it, isn't counted yet. See Picking up your physical patches.
If you've earned any optional side quests, the line adds how many.
Tap the card to close You and open the Locker tab. See Your Locker.
Your gym
The "Your gym" section appears only while your gym connection isn't finished. It shows up once the app has loaded your account, and it shows one of two rows.
Row
Line under it
What it means
Connect your gym
"Choose your gym so classes can count"
Your account isn't connected to a gym. Your classes aren't counting yet.
Connect attendance
Your gym's name and "ClubReady not synced"
You're on your gym's roster and can ask a coach to sign off, but your check-ins aren't coming through from your gym's membership system (ClubReady) yet.
Under the row, the app explains: "Links this account to your gym membership so check-ins move your patches."
Before you connect, your sign-in email shows under your name and the row reads Connect your gym.
1
Tap Connect your gym or Connect attendance. The app may first show "Finding your membership" while it looks for you. If it finds you, skip to step 4.
2
Otherwise, the "Find your gym" screen opens. Choose your gym and check the address in "Email on your gym membership". Use the email your gym has for you.
3
Tap Connect membership. If you started from Connect your gym and you're at the gym, you can tap Connect with staff instead and show the code to a staff member. If you started from Connect attendance and the app can't find your membership, ask your front desk to connect your attendance. Connect with staff can't do it for you here: with your own gym chosen, it only confirms that you're on your gym's roster.
4
When you're connected, the app takes you to Home, sometimes through a "You’re connected" screen with See my progress. Once you're fully connected, the "Your gym" section no longer appears on You.
If you use a screen reader, the row is read as "Connect your gym" in both versions.
Once you're fully connected, there's no way to change or remove your gym in the app. Ask your front desk.
Account
The "Account" section has two rows:
Sign out, with the email you're signed in with underneath.
Delete account, in red, with "Removes your account and sign-in" underneath.
Each one asks you to confirm first. The note under the section says: "Your gym membership and billing stay with your gym in ClubReady — deleting this account does not touch them." For what each one does, see Sign out or delete your account.
Near the bottom of You are three underlined links:
Privacy policy
Help & support
Account deletion
Each one opens a page in your phone's web browser, outside the app. The same links are on the sign-in screen, so you can reach them while signed out.
If your phone can't open a link, the app shows "Could not open this page. Visit" followed by the page's web address and "in your browser." You can select that address, copy it and paste it into your browser.
The small lines under the links show which service the app is connected to and how fresh your information is.
If you contact support about missing or out-of-date information, include the "Last refreshed" line and the line under it that says how your gym is connected. See Contact, privacy and support.
The bottom of You shows when the app last refreshed and how your gym is connected.
Which service the app is connected to
The first line reads "Connected to https://patch-program.vercel.app". That's the address of the Patch Program service the app gets your information from. It's the same for every member, and you don't need to do anything with it. The picture above leaves this line out, but you'll see it in the app, above "Last refreshed". The line never wraps, so with large text the end of the address may be cut off.
When the app last refreshed
On screen
What it means
"Last refreshed Today · 7:35 PM"
The last time the app loaded your information. Older times read like "Yesterday · 6 PM" or "Mon, Sep 14 · 6 PM".
"Not refreshed yet"
The app hasn't finished loading your information since you signed in. Give it a moment.
"Offline — showing what we last saw"
The app couldn't reach the Patch Program service, so you're looking at the last copy it saved. You may also see this for a moment when you open the app, until its first refresh finishes.
When the app can't reach the service, a banner at the top of the screen says so, for example "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." Tap that banner to try again. It shows "Syncing…" while the app is refreshing.
While the app is open, it refreshes itself about every 20 seconds, and again whenever you come back to it. You can't pull down to refresh on You. To refresh straight away, go back to Home and pull down.
How your gym is connected
This line appears once the app has loaded your account.
On screen
What it means
"Attendance updated just now", or a time such as "Attendance updated 3 hours ago" or "Attendance updated 2 days ago"
You're fully connected. It shows how long ago your gym's check-in records last came through.
"Attendance never synced"
You're connected, but no check-in records have come through yet.
Your gym's name and "ClubReady attendance not connected"
You're on your gym's roster, but your check-ins aren't syncing. Tap Connect attendance higher up.
"Gym not connected — your classes are not counting yet"
Your account isn't connected to a gym. Tap Connect your gym higher up.
What you won't find on You
Notification switches. Use your phone's settings instead. See Notifications.
A way to change or remove your gym once you're fully connected. Ask your front desk.
A way to change the email you sign in with. Your sign-in email shows under Sign out, but you can't edit it here.
Mayweather Patch can send you a notification when you earn a badge, when your coach decides on a sign-off, when your physical patch moves along, and when you pass a belt test. Notifications are optional. Everything they tell you also shows in the app.
Allow notifications
After your first sign-in, your iPhone asks whether Mayweather Patch can send you notifications. This is the standard iOS message, with Don’t Allow and Allow. The app doesn't show a screen of its own first.
1
Sign in to Mayweather Patch. Once your account loads, iOS asks whether Mayweather Patch can send you notifications. The message appears over the first screen the app opens, such as Home, a celebration or "Find your gym".
2
Tap Allow. The app links your phone to your account, and from then on your notifications arrive on this phone. Nothing else changes on screen.
3
If you'd rather not get them, tap Don’t Allow. The app works the same without notifications, and it won't ask again.
There's no notification setting inside Mayweather Patch, and the You screen has no notification switches. To change your choice later, use your iPhone's Settings app.
Turn notifications on or off later
1
Open your iPhone's Settings app.
2
Tap Notifications, then tap Mayweather Patch in the list. On recent versions of iOS, you can also find it under Apps, then Mayweather Patch, then Notifications.
3
Turn Allow Notifications on or off. While notifications are on, you can also choose where they appear, for example on the Lock Screen or as banners.
4
If you turned notifications on, close Mayweather Patch completely and open it again. To close it, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause, then swipe Mayweather Patch up and off the screen. The next time the app opens, it links your phone to your account.
Mayweather Patch sends every type of notification listed below. You can't pick individual types. Your iPhone's settings let you change how notifications look and sound, or turn them all off.
Each notification has a short title and a short message. In the tables below, "[patch name]" stands for the name of your patch. Your gym's program sets those names.
The example notifications show the Legends Patch app with sample patch names.
Left: your coach approved a sign-off. Right: a physical patch is ready for you to collect.

"[patch name] signed off" / "Your coach approved it. Open the app to see it."
Your coach approved the skills you asked them to sign off.

"[patch name] needs another look" / "Your coach sent it back with notes. Open the app to see them."
Your coach wants to see more before signing off.
That patch's page, with your coach's reasons and note
A sign-off approval doesn't always finish the patch. It ticks the requirements only a coach can check. If you still have rounds to log or classes to attend, those stay open. If the approval completes the patch, a second notification follows straight after: "You earned [patch name]".

Your coach wants another look before your physical patch is ready. Your badge still counts.
That patch's page, with your coach's reason
"[patch name] handed over" / "Confirm in the app that the patch reached you."
Your coach marked the patch as handed to you.
That patch's page, where you tap I've got it
"Your patch was handed over" or "[number] patches were handed over" / "Confirm in the app that they reached you."
Your coach marked all your waiting patches as handed over at once.

This is the only belt notification. It comes only when your coach records a pass. A belt that has no test doesn't send a notification of its own. You get it as soon as you earn the last patch on its path. The Your belt screen always shows the belt you hold and what comes next.
Tapping a notification opens Mayweather Patch on the screen for that update. Most open the patch's page, scrolled to the top. Scroll down to the part that changed.

Nothing is taken back. Show it once more in class and the patch follows
"[patch name] handed over" or "Your patch was handed over"
"Patch: handed over — confirm"
Tap I've got it once the patch is in your hands
Left: a sign-off sent back, with your coach's note and Ask again. Right: a physical patch that needs another look, while the badge itself still counts.
Left: the patch is waiting with your coach. Right: your coach handed it over, so confirm with I've got it.
If the notification was about something you've newly earned, the celebration screen may appear too. Tap Continue to carry on. See Celebrations.
When a tap opens the app but not the screen
The app only jumps to the screen when you're still signed in to the account the notification was for. If you've signed out, if someone else has signed in on this phone, or if your sign-in has expired, the app opens without moving you. Sign in to your own account. If the patch doesn't open, find it in your Locker.
Some updates don't send a notification. You see them the next time you open the app.
Badges from your class count. These can be added quietly when your attendance updates each night. The next time you open Mayweather Patch, you see them with a celebration.
Patches you finish yourself. When logging a round completes a patch, you're already in the app, so you see it straight away.
A new physical patch going to your coach for review. When you earn a patch that comes with a physical patch, its page shows "Patch: coach reviewing". No notification is sent for this step. You hear from the app once your coach approves the physical patch or sends it back.
Confirming you got a patch. Tapping I've got it doesn't notify anyone.
Your coach booking a belt test. You aren't notified when your coach books your test. Open Your belt and look at the "Belt tests" section. A booked test shows there as "Scheduled", with its day and time.
A belt test that isn't a pass. A result recorded as "Not yet", "No-show" or "Cancelled" shows in the "Belt tests" section on Your belt, with any note your coach added. No notification is sent. Only a pass sends "You earned your [belt name] belt".
Your coach picking a patch for you. When your coach chooses a patch for your next belt, it appears on your Journey with a gold star. Tap it to see "Your coach picked this one for you".
A belt you get by finishing its path. A belt with no test arrives as soon as you earn the last patch on its path. The belt itself doesn't send a notification. Open Your belt to see it.
Your belt shows the belt you hold and the date you got it, even when no notification told you about it.
If a notification for your account arrives while Mayweather Patch is open, it still appears as a banner at the top of the screen, with a sound.
The app also keeps itself up to date without notifications. It refreshes when you open it, about every 20 seconds while it's open, and when you pull down on Home.
Mayweather Patch never puts a number on its app icon, even if Badges is turned on for Mayweather Patch in your iPhone's settings.
You don't miss anything if notifications are off. The same updates show in the app:
Home. Your next win shows "Awaiting coach" or "Sent back" when you've asked for a sign-off. See Your Home screen.
The pickup line on Home and in your Locker. When a physical patch needs you, a tinted line appears on Home, below your training record, and in your Locker, above the filters. Tap it to open your Locker.
The patch's page. Every patch shows its full status, including the "Your patch" section for physical patches.
The pickup line on Home. Left: a patch is waiting for you. Right: your coach handed it over, so confirm you got it.
Pickup line
What it means
"Your patch is ready — see Coach at your next class"
One physical patch is waiting for you
"[number] patches ready — see Coach at your next class"
Several physical patches are waiting for you
"Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it"
Open the patch and tap I've got it
The line disappears when nothing is waiting and nothing needs confirming.
One phone, one account. A phone gets notifications for the account that signed in to Mayweather Patch on it most recently. If someone else signs in on your phone, notifications go to their account instead. Sign back in to get yours again.
Signing out stops your notifications on that phone. When you sign in again, the app links the phone to your account again, as long as notifications are allowed.
Each gym's app is separate. Notifications from Mayweather Patch are only about your Mayweather Patch account.
On Android
The Android app sets up a notification category called "Patch updates", and your phone may ask whether Mayweather Patch can send notifications. Right now, Mayweather Patch can't deliver notifications to Android phones, even if you allow them. Use the pickup line on Home, your Locker and each patch's page to keep up with changes.
Yes. The app won't ask again, so use your iPhone's settings. Open Settings, tap Notifications, tap Mayweather Patch and turn on Allow Notifications. Then close Mayweather Patch completely and open it again.
No. The You screen has no notification switches. Your iPhone's Settings app is the only place to turn notifications on or off.
Some badges are added quietly, for example ones that come from your class count when your attendance updates each night. Open the app or pull down on Home to see them. See Updates that arrive quietly.
Booking a test doesn't send one. Neither does a result of "Not yet", "No-show" or "Cancelled". Only a pass sends "You earned your [belt name] belt". Open Your belt and check the "Belt tests" section to see your booking and any results.
Yes. A belt with no test arrives as soon as you earn the last patch on its path, and it doesn't send a notification of its own. Open Your belt to see it.
Yes. A sign-off ticks the requirements only a coach can check. Anything you log yourself, and any classes the patch needs, still have to be done. You get "You earned [patch name]" when everything is complete.
"Your patch is ready" comes when a patch starts waiting for you and nothing else is waiting yet. If a patch is already waiting, the next approval tells you the new patch is in the pickup queue.
Your coach sent something back. For a sign-off, open the patch to read your coach's reasons and any note, put in the reps, then tap Ask again. For a physical patch, your badge still counts. Open the patch to read your coach's reason. Show it once more in class and the patch follows.
You may be signed out, signed in to a different account, or your sign-in may have expired. Sign in to your own account. If the patch still doesn't open, find it in your Locker.
No. A phone only gets notifications for the account most recently signed in on it. Sign back in to get yours again.
Mayweather Patch doesn't use icon counts. Open the app to see what's changed.
Not at the moment. Check Home, your Locker and each patch's page for updates instead.
You'll find both options in the Account section of the You screen. Signing out is temporary, and your progress is there when you sign back in. Deleting is permanent. Neither one changes your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness membership or billing.

Find the Account section
1
On Home, tap your initials at the top right.
The You screen opens.
Your initials sit in the circle at the top right of Home.
2
Scroll down to "Account".
You'll see two rows. Sign out shows the email address your account uses. If you chose Hide My Email when you signed up with Apple, you'll see Apple's private relay address here. Delete account is in red, with "Removes your account and sign-in" under it.
The Account section has Sign out and, in red, Delete account.
Sign out
1
In the Account section, tap Sign out.
A sheet asks "Sign out?" and shows your account's email address. It says "You’ll need to sign in again to see your gym progress."
Check the email address under "Sign out?" to confirm which account you're leaving.
2
Tap Sign out to confirm.
To stay, tap Stay signed in, the X, or anywhere outside the sheet.
Removes your progress, profile and saved sign-in from this phone. Nothing is deleted from your account.
Stops notifications to this phone for your account. They start again when you sign in, as long as notifications are allowed for Mayweather Patch.
Signs out this phone only. Any other phone you use stays signed in.
Leaves everything with your gym as it is. Requests you've sent to your coach and patches waiting for pickup stay where they are.
You can sign out without an internet connection, but the app needs a connection to stop notifications. If you sign out offline, this phone may keep getting notifications for your account until the app is signed in on it again.
Delete your account
Deleting your account removes your access to Mayweather Patch and removes your personal details from your profile. It happens straight away, and you can't undo it.
Before you delete
Your gym membership stays active. Deleting your app account doesn't cancel or change your membership or billing. To do that, talk to your gym's front desk.
Pick up any patches that are waiting for you. After you delete, the app no longer shows your gym team your name. See Picking up your physical patches.
Each gym's app has its own account. Deleting your Mayweather Patch account doesn't delete an account you have in another gym's Patch Program app. Delete each one separately.
The confirmation sheet sums it up: "Your account access will be removed and your profile anonymized. Gym progression and audit history stay; historical notes may still contain personal information. Your gym membership and billing are separate and will not be canceled. Contact support to review retained records."
Removed:
Your sign-in: your password if you have one, the link to your Apple or Google sign-in, and your account's email addresses.
Your sign-in on every phone. Each one is signed out.
Notifications. The app stops sending them to any of your phones.
Your name, your phone number and the home gym shown on your profile. Your name becomes "Deleted Member".
The notes you wrote when you asked a coach to sign off.
The connection to your gym membership that lets your check-ins count. If you create a new account later, you can connect the same membership to it.
Stays, without your name:
Your classes, the patches and badges you earned, and your belt progress.
The history of what your coaches approved, sent back and handed over.
Some older notes and invitation records may still include personal information. If you want those reviewed, contact support. See Contact, privacy and support.
Delete in the app
1
On the You screen, scroll to "Account" and tap Delete account.
A sheet opens titled "Delete your account?", with your account's email address under the title.
2
Read the explanation.
To stop, tap Keep my account, the X, or anywhere outside the sheet.
The sheet explains what happens before anything is deleted, and Delete my account is the red button.
If deleting fails, the sheet closes and a message says "Could not delete your account — try again." Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then try again. Problems with Sign in with Apple show inside the sheet instead. See the next section.
On a slow connection, your account can be deleted even though this message appears. If the app then signs you out with "Your session ended — sign in again.", see After you delete to check whether the deletion went through.
If you use Sign in with Apple
If your account uses Sign in with Apple, the sheet has an extra note: "Apple may ask you to sign in again so we can disconnect this app. If Apple cannot be disconnected automatically, we’ll explain how to remove its access after deleting your account."
When you tap Delete my account, Apple's sign-in prompt appears. Confirm it with the same Apple ID you use for Mayweather Patch. The app then tries to remove its Sign in with Apple access as it deletes your account.
What happens
What it means
What to do
You close Apple's prompt
Nothing is deleted, and the delete sheet stays open. If you use VoiceOver, it reads "Deletion canceled. Your account is still active."
Tap Delete my account to try again, or Keep my account to stop.
"Could not reconnect to Apple. Try again, or delete your app account here and disconnect Apple manually."
Apple didn't confirm. Nothing is deleted.
Tap Delete my account to try again, or tap Delete and disconnect Apple manually.
A message that starts "Use the Apple account that signed in to this app."
You confirmed with a different Apple ID. Your account is still active.
Try again with the Apple ID you use for Mayweather Patch, or tap Delete and disconnect Apple manually.
Another red message that ends "Your app account is still active. You can retry or disconnect Apple manually after deletion."
Apple couldn't confirm or remove the app's access. Nothing is deleted.
Tap Delete my account to try again, or tap Delete and disconnect Apple manually.
Delete and disconnect Apple manually deletes your account without asking Apple. You then remove the app's access in your iPhone's Settings yourself, as the confirmation explains.
After a successful deletion, a notice above the sign-in buttons reads: "Your Patch Program account has been deleted. Your gym membership and billing are held by your gym in ClubReady under its own terms."
Notices appear in this card above the sign-in buttons, shown here with the message your other phones see after you delete.
If the app couldn't remove its Sign in with Apple access, the notice goes on: "Apple access has not been revoked. Open Settings, tap your name, choose Sign in with Apple, select this app, then tap Delete and confirm." It ends with the address of Apple's instructions, "https://support.apple.com/102571". Follow those steps on your iPhone. If the menus on your iPhone look different, open that address in your browser and follow Apple's instructions.
The notice goes away when you leave the sign-in screen, so read it first.
Your other phones are signed out the next time the app connects. Their sign-in screen may show "Your session ended — sign in again."
You can't sign in to the deleted account again. If you used email, your old email and password no longer work, and the app says "Email or password is incorrect."
If you used Apple or Google and sign in again, the app asks you to "Confirm your age", because it would be creating a new account. Tap Cancel if you don't want one.
If you join again, even with the same email, Apple ID or Google account, you get a new account. The patches, badges, belt progress and classes from your old account don't come back.
If you can't use the app, you can ask for deletion by email.
1
Tap Account deletion at the bottom of the sign-in screen or the You screen.
The account deletion page opens in your web browser. You don't need to sign in to read it.
The Account deletion link is at the bottom of You, under the note about your gym membership.
2
Find "Request deletion without the app" and tap the email address there.
Your mail app opens a new message with the subject "Patch Program account deletion request".
3
Send the message from the email address on your account.
Say that you want your account deleted, and name every gym app you have an account in, including Mayweather Patch.
4
Reply if support asks you to confirm the account is yours.
Never send your password or a verification code.
The same page explains the in-app steps, what deletion does and what to do about Sign in with Apple.
Your gym membership and billing
Under the Account section, the You screen says: "Your gym membership and billing stay with your gym in ClubReady — deleting this account does not touch them."
The app never cancels, pauses or changes your membership. To make changes, talk to your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness front desk.
Common questions
No. Your progress is saved with your account. Sign in again the same way you did before, and everything is back.
Sign in again. The app registers your phone for notifications each time you sign in, as long as notifications are allowed for Mayweather Patch on your phone. See Notifications.
No. Deletion is permanent. If you join again, you get a new account, and the progress from your old account doesn't come back.
No. Your membership and billing stay with your gym. Talk to the front desk to change or cancel them.
Your classes, patches and coach decisions stay in your gym's records, but your name is replaced with "Deleted Member".
No. The app may sign you out, but your account is still there. Sign in with Apple again and delete it from the You screen, or ask by email from the Account deletion page.
No. Each gym's app has its own account. Delete each one in its own app, or name every app in your email request.
Yes. Reset your password and sign in, then delete from the You screen. See Signing in and password help. You can also ask by email from the Account deletion page.
Signing out only affects the phone you're holding, so sign out on each phone. If you sign in with email and password, resetting your password signs you out everywhere. See Reset a forgotten password.
Most problems in Mayweather Patch have one of three causes: a dropped connection, a link or code that has run out, or a step your gym still has to take. Find what you're seeing below. Each entry explains what it means and what to do next.
Find your problem
What's happening
Where to look
A dark banner at the top says "Can’t reach the server"
This banner means you're seeing what the app last loaded, not the latest information.
When Mayweather Patch can't refresh, a dark banner stays at the top of the screen: "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." Everything below it is what the app last loaded. While the app tries again, "Syncing…" appears at the right of the banner. At the bottom of You, the refresh line reads "Offline — showing what we last saw".
1
Check that Wi-Fi or mobile data is on and working.
2
Tap the banner to try again.
On Home and Train, you can also pull down on the screen.
3
Give it a moment.
While the app is open, it tries again about every 20 seconds, and again each time you come back to it. The banner goes away once a refresh works.
If the banner appears for a moment when you open the app and then goes away, the app has caught up and nothing is wrong.
While the banner shows, I've got it on a patch stays grayed out. If you tapped it as the connection dropped, you may see "Could not confirm this action. Reconnect and refresh before trying again." Once you're back online, open the patch again. If it still says "Patch: handed over — confirm", tap I've got it again.
You may see the same problem in other words:

Reconnect, then try again.
A message at the top that disappears
A refusal appears at the top in plain words and clears itself after a few seconds.
Sometimes the server turns down something you tried. Usually that's because something changed since the screen last loaded, for example on another phone. A short banner with a warning sign says why. It goes away after about four seconds, or when you tap it. The app also refreshes, so the screen shows what's actually saved.
Often the app spots the problem before sending anything. Then the same kind of message appears at the bottom of the screen instead, and goes away after a few seconds. Most messages below can show up either way. A few only come from the app's own check, and the table says so.

The same, from the app's own check. It appears when you tap a patch tied to a higher belt, for example a dimmed row in "Choose a patch".
Keep working toward that belt. You can work one belt ahead of the belt you hold.
"That patch is not in this program."
The patch isn't part of your gym's current program.
Pull down on Home to refresh, then choose another patch.
"Something went wrong talking to the server."
Something unexpected went wrong.
Try again in a moment. If it keeps happening, contact support.
Screens look empty before your progress loads
When you sign in, Mayweather Patch has to load your progress once before it can show it. If the connection drops at that moment, you still get into the app, and the "Can’t reach the server" banner shows at the top. Until a refresh works, some screens say they're loading and others look empty.
Screen

You
The belt chip reads "No belt on record", next to "Ask the front desk for help". The "Your gym" section doesn't show yet. There's no loading message.
Your Locker and You don't show a loading message, so they can look as if your badges or your belt are gone. They aren't.
1
Check that Wi-Fi or mobile data is on.
2
Tap the banner at the top, or tap Try again on Home.
3
Wait for the banner to go away.
Your patches, your belt and the "Your gym" section appear once the refresh works.
Only go to the front desk if something is still missing after the banner has gone. For example, You still says "No belt on record", or Journey says "Your starting belt hasn't been granted yet".
Sheets and the back button on Android
On an Android phone, some actions open a sheet over a dimmed screen: "Ask coach to sign off", "Your working set is full", "Sign out?" and "Delete your account?".
A sheet such as "Sign out?" opens over the dimmed screen.
The connection banner shows above the sheet. If the app can't reach the server, or a message is showing, the same dark banner appears again at the top of the dimmed area. Tapping it tries again, or clears the message, just like the banner on the main screen. The sheet stays open.
The back button closes the sheet. Nothing is sent or changed. For example, "Ask coach to sign off" closes without sending, and "Sign out?" closes and keeps you signed in.
While your account is being deleted, the sheet stays open. Once you tap Delete my account, a spinner shows on the button. Until it finishes, the back button, the X, tapping outside the sheet and Keep my account do nothing. Wait for it to finish.
On an iPhone, the banner stays at the top of the screen, above any sheet.
A class is missing or your count looks wrong
Start on Train. The line under your class count explains most problems.
Here the line under the count says check-ins aren't syncing, and the dashed days weren't tracked.
What Train says
Why
What to do
"Connect your gym to bring your class attendance into the program."
Your account isn't connected to your gym, so no classes count yet.
You're connected. This shows how recent your gym's attendance data is, not when you last trained.
If a class is still missing, read on.
"Attendance never synced"
You're connected, but no attendance has come through yet.
Check again tomorrow. If it hasn't changed, ask your front desk.
"Your record needs a refresh" (below the count)
The app couldn't load your latest record.
Tap Try again once you're online.
"Loading your attendance record."
The app is still loading.
Wait a moment, or pull down to refresh.
The bottom of You shows the same status. It reads "Gym not connected — your classes are not counting yet", your gym's name with "ClubReady attendance not connected", or "Attendance updated … ago".
You trained today and the class isn't there. Your gym's attendance reaches the program once a day, usually overnight. A class appears after your gym records your visit and that update has run. Pulling down on Train refreshes your record, but it can't bring in a class your gym hasn't sent yet.
A class is still missing after a day. Ask your coach or the front desk. Coaches can add a class the gym's records missed. Home's recent activity then shows "Class added by your coach", and the class counts like any other.
Your count is lower than your gym's total. Train counts classes in the program. Only classes recorded since you connected your gym count. "Program classes" on Home is the same number.
Other numbers don't match.
Last 7 days counts days, not classes. Two classes on one day show as one day there, but both count toward your patches.
The weekly streak on Home counts weeks in a row with at least two classes, so it won't match Last 7 days.
A dashed day in Last 7 days, or a faded day in the calendar that reads "Attendance was not tracked for this day" when you tap it, means the app has no attendance data for that day. It doesn't mean you missed class. Today can look empty or untracked until the overnight update brings in your class.
Days and times follow your gym's time zone, not your phone's.
"No gyms are available right now. Try again, or return when your gym has opened registration."
The list couldn't load, or no gyms are open yet. Both look the same.
Check your connection and tap Try again. If the list stays empty, try again later.
A spinner where the list should be
The list is still loading.
Wait a moment.
Connect membership stays dimmed
No gym is chosen, or the email has no @ sign.
Tap your gym and check the email address.
Connect with staff stays dimmed
No gym is chosen.
Tap your gym first.
If the app can't find your membership, a note or a red line on "Find your gym" says why. These fixes solve most cases:
Enter the email your gym has on file for you, not the one you sign in with. This often matters if you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email.
Check that you picked the right gym.
Tap Connect with staff and let the front desk connect you in person.
Two messages mean something is already linked:
"This member already belongs to another gym". Your account is already linked to a different gym, and you can't change gyms in the app. Ask your front desk.
"That membership is already connected to another account". You may have made another Mayweather Patch account before, perhaps with a different sign-in method. Sign out and sign in with that account instead. If that isn't it, contact support.
The countdown under the code shows how long staff have to use it.
A connection code lasts 10 minutes. It stops working as soon as you leave "Show this to staff", and a new code replaces the old one.
What's happening
Why
What to do
"Your code expired. Create a fresh one when staff are ready."
The 10 minutes ran out.
Tap Get a new code when staff are ready to scan.
Staff say the code is invalid or expired
You left the screen, a newer code replaced it, or staff tried to look it up too many times.
Tap Back, then Connect with staff again for a fresh code. Stay on the screen until staff finish.
Staff say they're done, but the screen hasn't changed
The app checks for updates about every 20 seconds.
Tap Check connection.
A red line says "This account is already connected to a membership"
You're already connected.
Go back to Home.
"Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again."
Your phone is offline.
Reconnect. Then tap Get a new code if it shows, or Check connection.
The app doesn't send a notification when staff finish. Watch for the screen to change to "You’re connected". See Connect with staff at the gym.
Your invitation link doesn't work
This page means the link can't be used any more, so ask your gym team for a new invitation.
An invitation works once and expires 24 hours after it was sent. If your gym sends another one, only the newest email works.
What you see
What to do
The web page says "This invitation is no longer active."
The link has expired, been replaced or been used. Ask your gym team to send a new invitation.
The Open button on the web page doesn't open the app
Mayweather Patch probably isn't installed. Install it, then go back to the email and tap the invitation link again. The invitation doesn't carry over when you install the app.
"Open the invitation from your email again. If it has expired, ask your gym to resend it."
The app opened without the invitation. Tap the link in the email again.
A red line such as "This invite is invalid or expired", with "Ask your gym for a fresh invitation, or try opening this one again."
Tap Try again. If it still fails, ask your gym team for a new invitation.
"This invitation belongs to another brand. Open the invitation email and use its app link to continue."
You opened it in another gym brand's app. Go back to the email, tap the invitation link, and use the Open button on that page. It opens the right app.
A field called "Email that received the invitation" appears
"This invitation was already used" or "This link is expired, revoked or already used"
The invitation was used, canceled or ran out while you were accepting it. If you accepted it on another phone, you're already connected. If not, ask your gym team for a new invitation.
"This invitation is incomplete; ask your gym for a new one" or "The ClubReady record changed; ask your gym for a new invite"
Ask your gym team for a new invitation.
"This member already belongs to another gym"
Your account is linked to a different gym. Ask your front desk.
You're in the wrong gym's app
Each gym brand has its own app, and each app has its own accounts. An account you made in one app doesn't exist in the others, even if you use the same email or Apple ID.
The app for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is Mayweather Patch.
You may be in the wrong app if:
Email sign-in says "Email or password is incorrect." even though your password is right.
The app asks you to "Confirm your age", but you already have an account.
You sign in and your progress is empty.
Your gym isn't in the "Your gym" list, or an invitation says it "belongs to another brand".
1
If the app is asking you to confirm your age, tap Cancel.
Canceling doesn't create an account.
2
Check the logo on the sign-in screen, or the name at the top of Home.
It shows which gym brand the app belongs to.
3
Install Mayweather Patch, the app for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.
If the link arrives without its code, open it again straight from the email.
What's happening
What to do
"This link is incomplete"
Only part of the link reached the app. Go back to the email and tap the link itself.
"That link has expired or has already been used. Ask for a new one."
A link works once, for 30 minutes. Tap Back to sign in, then Use email instead (Continue with email on Android), then Forgot password.
Nothing happens when you tap the link
The link opens the app, not a web page. Tap it on the phone that has Mayweather Patch. You also need to be signed out of the app.
The reset email never arrives
Accounts made with Apple or Google have no password, so no email is sent. Sign in with that button instead. Otherwise, check your spam folder. After three requests in 15 minutes, no more emails are sent for a while.
Once a code expires, Verify email stops working and Resend code gets you a new one.
What you see
What to do
"This code has expired. Request a new one below."
A code lasts 10 minutes. Tap Resend code and use the new code.
A grayed-out button such as "Resend in 48s"
Wait for the countdown to end, then tap Resend code.
"That verification code is no longer valid; request a new one"
The code is wrong, was replaced by a newer one, has been tried too many times, or has expired. Check the digits against the newest email. If they match, tap Resend code.
"No more codes can be sent for this verification"
You've used all 3 resends. Tap Change email and start again.
"Too many attempts. Wait before trying again."
Too many codes or tries in a short time. Wait a while (up to an hour), then try again.
"Verify your email" and "Start again to get a fresh code."
No code is waiting any more. Tap Continue and start again.
No email arrives
Check your spam folder, and check the address on "Check your email". To fix a typo, tap Change email.
If you stop using Sign in with Apple for Mayweather Patch in your iPhone's Settings, the app can sign you out without showing a message. Your account and progress aren't deleted.
1
Open Mayweather Patch and tap Sign in with Apple.
2
Use the same Apple ID as before.
If Apple asks whether to share your name and email, either choice works. The app finds your account from your Apple ID.
3
If the app asks you to "Confirm your age", tap Cancel.
The app only asks this when it's about to create a new account, so you're not using the Apple ID your account belongs to. Check which Apple ID your iPhone is signed in with, then try again.
4
Wait while your progress loads.
Your account belongs to Sign in with Apple, and the app can't move it to email sign-in, so keep using Apple to open it. The Android app doesn't offer Sign in with Apple, so you can't open this account on an Android phone.
Badge not found
This appears when a link points to a patch the app can't find in your gym's program.
"Badge not found" with "This one slipped through the ropes. Close the sheet and try again." means a link or notification pointed to a patch the app couldn't find in your gym's program.
1
Tap Close.
2
Pull down on Home to refresh.
3
Find the patch in your Locker or on your Journey, and open it from there.
If it keeps happening, contact support and say which link or notification you tapped.
Your coach hasn't answered a sign-off
While you wait, each unfinished coach requirement shows an amber "Awaiting coach" chip.
After you ask, the patch shows "Awaiting coach". The card near the bottom of the patch also shows how long ago you asked, for example "Awaiting coach · sent 3d ago". Your coach decides in class. The request doesn't expire, so it waits until a coach answers. You can't cancel it or send it twice.
Why it may still be waiting
What to do
Your coach hasn't seen the skill yet.
Show it in class, and mention that you've asked.
Your account isn't connected to your gym. Coaches only see requests from members of their gym.
Connect your gym. Your request then shows up for your gym's coaches.
The request wasn't saved because you were offline, even if the app said it was sent. "Awaiting coach" disappears after the next refresh.
Open the patch and tap Ask coach to sign off again.
Your coach has answered, and you missed the notification.
Open the patch to see the result.
When your coach answers:
Approved. The coach requirements are ticked. If nothing else is left, the patch is earned. If other requirements remain, such as rounds you log or classes, finish those next.
Sent back. A red "Sent back" chip appears with your coach's reasons and any note, followed by "Nothing is lost. Put in the reps and ask again." When you're ready, tap Ask again.
Earning a badge and collecting the physical patch are separate steps. Open the patch from your Locker and look under "Your patch".
Tap I've got it only once the patch is in your hands.
Status
What it means
What to do
"Patch: coach reviewing"
Your coach hasn't approved the patch yet. As the patch says, your coach "gives every patch a once-over first. Your badge already counts."
Wait. If it's been a while, mention it to your coach in class.
"Patch: waiting with Coach"
The patch is ready. Home and your Locker show a line such as "Your patch is ready — see Coach at your next class".
Ask your coach for it at your next class.
"Patch: handed over — confirm"
Your coach has recorded that they gave it to you. Home and your Locker can show "Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it".
If you have it, tap I've got it. If you don't, don't confirm. Talk to your coach.
"Needs another look"
Your coach held the patch back and gave a reason.
Read the reason, then talk to your coach or show it once more in class, as the patch suggests. Your badge still counts, and your coach can still approve the patch.
"Patch received"
You've confirmed it.
Nothing.
When a patch is held back, your coach's reason appears above "Your badge stands — nothing is taken back."
If a badge has no physical patch, its page says so, and there's nothing to collect.
If I've got it is grayed out, the app can't reach the server or hasn't finished refreshing. Tap the banner at the top to retry. If you see "Could not confirm receipt. Try again.", tap I've got it again once you're connected.
If something goes wrong while a screen is opening, you see "This screen couldn't load" and "Try opening it again. Your saved progress will stay in place."
1
Tap Try again.
2
If the same screen fails again, close Mayweather Patch completely and open it again.
3
Check the App Store or Google Play for an update to Mayweather Patch.
4
If it keeps happening, contact support. Say which screen you were opening and what you tapped.
Some screens have their own Try again button when their information can't load. In each case, check your connection, then tap it.

A link opens a screen that says Unmatched Route
If a link is out of date or mistyped, Mayweather Patch can open on a plain black screen without your gym's colors. It says "Unmatched Route" and "Page could not be found.", shows the link you opened, and offers two links, Go back and Sitemap. Nothing is wrong with your account or your progress.
1
Tap Go back.
You return to the screen you were on, or to the app's start screen.
2
Ask your gym for a fresh link, or open the screen you wanted from inside the app.
Don't tap Sitemap. It opens a list of the app's screens that's meant for developers, not members. Tapping the link text opens the same screen again.
Notifications aren't arriving
Mayweather Patch asks to send you notifications the first time you sign in. The app has no notification settings of its own. Your phone's settings control them.
Cause
What to do
You tapped Don’t Allow when your iPhone asked. It won't ask again.
Open Settings, tap Notifications, tap Mayweather Patch, and turn on Allow Notifications. Then close Mayweather Patch completely and open it again.
You use an Android phone.
Right now, Mayweather Patch can't deliver notifications to Android phones, even if you allow them. Check Home, your Locker and each patch instead.
Someone else signed in to Mayweather Patch on this phone. A phone gets notifications only for the account that signed in on it last.
Sign in again with your own account.
You're signed out. Signing out stops notifications to that phone.
Focus or Do Not Disturb is on.
Check your phone's Focus settings.
Not every update sends one. Recorded classes don't, and some patches you earn appear without one.
Open the app. It refreshes when you open it, and about every 20 seconds while it's open.
Tapping a notification opens nothing. The app only opens the linked screen if you're signed in to the account the notification was for. If you signed out, or your sign-in has expired, sign in and find the patch in your Locker.
You don't miss anything with notifications off. Home, your Locker and each patch show the same statuses. See Notifications.

Buttons, cards and patches have names your screen reader reads out. Tabs at the bottom are read as Home, Journey, Train and Locker, and your screen reader tells you which one is selected. Screen titles, such as "Locker", and the patch name at the top of a patch's page are marked as headings, so you can jump between headings.
What is read out automatically
Some messages are read out as soon as they appear, so you don't have to go looking for them.
Confirmation messages. When you start a patch, ask a coach to sign off or do something similar, a dark message appears at the bottom of the screen, for example "Working on Adaptability Animal". Your screen reader reads it straight away. It goes away after a few seconds and can't be tapped.
The connection banner. If the app can't reach the server, a banner at the top of the screen reads "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." Your screen reader reads it when it appears. The banner is a button: its name is the message followed by "Double tap to retry." A short-lived message in the same place, such as an error, ends with "Double tap to dismiss." instead.
The welcome pages. When you swipe to another page, you hear which page you're on, for example "Page 2 of 3". Each page's title is also read with its page number.
The message at the bottom confirms what you did, and your screen reader reads the same words.
Your screen reader reads this banner when it appears. Tap it, or double-tap it with a screen reader, to try again.
While the banner says the app can't reach the server, you can't use I've got it to confirm you have a physical patch. VoiceOver reads the button as "dimmed". Once the app reconnects, the banner goes away and the button works again. See Troubleshooting.
Messages on forms
When something you typed needs fixing, for example on the sign-in screen, a red message appears.
TalkBack reads it straight away.
VoiceOver reads it when you move to the message. If the message belongs to one field, VoiceOver also reads it as a hint when you move to that field.

"Log a round", without the requirement's name. See below.
Your gym's patch on the sign-in screen
"Skip patch animation" while the patch drops in, then "Mayweather Boxing + Fitness patch"
Your screen reader calls the patch "badge front" or "metal reverse", and Turn badge is read as "Show metal backing".
Pictures that are only decoration are skipped. That includes the patch artwork in the Locker grid, the engraving on the back of a patch, and the glow and dots on a celebration.
With a screen reader on, turn the patch over with the button below it, which is read as "Show metal backing". The hint on the patch points you to that button. See Patch details.
Drills you log yourself
On a patch you're working on, each unfinished drill you log yourself has its own small Log a round button. Your screen reader reads every one of them as "Log a round", without the drill's name. On a patch with several of these drills, they all sound the same.
Each button comes after its requirement's name and instructions. Before you double-tap a button, move back from it to the requirement name above it. That name tells you which drill the button logs.
When a larger Log a round button appears below the requirements, it logs the first requirement in the list that isn't ticked yet.
Each drill you log yourself has its own Log a round button under its name and instructions.
Your gym's patch on the sign-in screen
Usually, the first time the sign-in screen appears after you open the app, your gym's patch drops onto the screen. That takes less than a second. While the patch is moving, it's a button your screen reader reads as "Skip patch animation". Tap it, or double-tap it with a screen reader, to jump straight to the end. The sign-in buttons work while the patch is moving.
Once the patch has settled, it's a picture read as "Mayweather Boxing + Fitness patch". With Reduce Motion on, the patch fades in instead, and it's read as "Mayweather Boxing + Fitness patch" from the start.
Once the patch has settled at the top, your screen reader reads it as your gym's patch.
The app uses the text size you choose on your phone. When you change it, the app updates straight away.
Most text can grow to twice its usual size.
Large display lettering grows up to 1.4 times its usual size, so it still fits on the screen. This covers screen titles, patch names, large numbers and the small capital labels above them.
The initials in the circles for you and other people stay the same size.
Text you type into a field keeps growing with your setting.
Some screens change their layout so that nothing gets cut off:
Screen
What changes as text gets larger
Home, "Your next win"
From one step above the standard size, the progress ring moves above the percentage instead of sitting beside it. On very narrow screens it's always stacked this way.
Train, "Last 7 days"
The day letters and dates grow up to one and a half times. At larger sizes the dates switch to a smaller style, so all seven days still fit.
Locker
Three columns of patches become two at the largest standard size. From the second of the larger accessibility sizes, they become one column. When the counter no longer fits beside the title, it moves under it. Patch names wrap instead of shrinking.
Journey
Each row gets taller, up to twice its usual height, so names and captions stay inside their bands.
A patch's page
The patch picture keeps its size. The text below it grows.
Celebrations
The patch name and the line above it grow less than the rest, so they stay on screen.
At the standard size the ring sits beside the percentage. At a very large size it moves above it.
The Locker goes from three columns to one as the text gets larger, and the counter moves under the title.
On iPhone, the larger accessibility sizes appear when you turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes under Larger Text. On Android, the same layout changes happen when you pick a font size that large, if your phone offers one.
If movement on screen bothers you, turn on Reduce Motion on iPhone or Remove animations on Android. The app drops spins, slides, pops and shakes. Most of what's left is simple fades. Buttons still respond when you press them.
Where
Usually
With Reduce Motion on
A patch's page
The patch spins once as the page opens, and you can drag it to turn it
No spin, and dragging does nothing. Turn badge and View front flip the patch at once. The small caption beside the button reads "Front" or "Reverse" instead of "Drag to rotate".
Celebrations
The patch stamps in, the screen shakes a little, dots burst out and a shine crosses the patch
The glow behind the patch still blooms, and the patch and the words fade in. Continue appears after about a second and a half instead of about three seconds.
Progress rings
The ring sweeps round to its new value
The ring shows its value at once
Requirements
The checkmark pops when a requirement is done
The checkmark appears without the pop
Journey
The ring around your current patch pulses, a newly earned patch pops and the trail draws itself
The ring stays still, nothing pops and the trail appears in full. Jump to where you are appears without sliding.
Panels such as "Ask coach to sign off" and "Sign out?", confirmation messages and the connection banner
They slide into place
They appear without sliding. The dimmed background behind a panel still fades.
The sign-in screen
Your gym's patch drops onto the screen and settles
The patch fades in
Buttons, cards and rows
They shrink slightly when you press them
They shrink less, so you can still tell your press registered
Turn badge shows the back of the patch. Here Reduce Motion is off, so the caption reads "Drag to rotate". With it on, the patch flips at once and the caption reads "Reverse".
A celebration ends up looking the same with Reduce Motion on. Only the way it arrives changes.
Your phone still gives its taps during a celebration when Reduce Motion is on. See Celebrations.
On iPhone and Android, the app uses short taps you can feel to confirm what happened:
A light tap when you press most buttons, cards and rows.
A small tick when you turn a patch over, or pick an option.
A firmer tap when a round you log is saved.
A success pattern when something works. Examples are starting, resuming or swapping a patch, sending a sign-off request, and confirming you've got your physical patch.
A warning pattern when the app can't do what you asked, when you drop a patch, and when you start deleting your account. When the app can't do something, a message on screen says why.
A short sequence as a celebration plays: a light tap, a heavier one as the patch lands, then a success pattern.
The app has no switch of its own for these. On iPhone, the System Haptics switch in Settings > Sounds & Haptics controls them. Reduce Motion doesn't turn them off.
Each app uses one color for its gym: Mayweather Boxing + Fitness's color marks buttons, selected tabs, progress and choices. Green, amber and red show status, and grays carry the rest.
Readable colored text. Small text uses a shade of your gym's color chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast guideline on the app's backgrounds, in both light and dark appearance.
Initials circles. The letters are black or white, whichever is clearer on the circle's color.
The app doesn't rely on color alone to tell you where things stand:
What
What shows besides color
A finished requirement
A checkmark, and the requirement's name is crossed out
A requirement waiting for your coach
The label "Awaiting coach"
A sign-off your coach sent back

A paused patch

A finished requirement has a checkmark and is crossed out. One waiting for your coach says "Awaiting coach".
The app has no contrast or color settings of its own.
The app follows your phone's Light or Dark setting, including Automatic, where your phone switches between them on a schedule. When your phone changes, the app changes with it straight away. There's no appearance switch inside the app.
Your gym's color has a light and a dark version, so it stays clear on both backgrounds. A few things are always dark, whatever your setting:
The screen you see while the app opens.
Celebrations.
The confirmation messages at the bottom of the screen and the connection banner at the top.
The screenshots in this guide show the dark appearance.
Common questions
The app checks the setting when it starts. Close Mayweather Patch fully and open it again.
Reduce Motion or Remove animations is probably on, and that turns off dragging. Use Turn badge instead. The caption beside it reads "Front" or "Reverse". A swipe that's mostly up or down also scrolls the page rather than turning the patch.
Your phone's text size is set larger than usual. The Locker makes room so patch names stay readable. See Your Locker.
Large display lettering stops at 1.4 times its usual size so it still fits on the screen. Other text can grow to twice its size.
No. It follows your phone's Light or Dark setting.
Yes. Confirmation messages at the bottom of the screen and the connection banner at the top are read as soon as they appear. Messages on forms are read straight away by TalkBack. VoiceOver reads them when you move to them.
The button doesn't say. Move back from the button to the requirement name above it. That's the drill the button logs.
It's your gym's patch while it drops onto the screen. Double-tapping it jumps to the end. Once the patch settles, it's read as "Mayweather Boxing + Fitness patch".
The button can't be used until it appears. Wait about three seconds, or about a second and a half with Reduce Motion on, then try again.
Not inside the app. On iPhone, turn off System Haptics in Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
These are short answers to the questions members ask most about Mayweather Patch. Each one links to an article with the full details. Your gym's program sets its own patch names and requirements, so the examples here may not match yours.
Getting started
Mayweather Patch, the app for Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. Each gym's app has its own accounts. An account in one app won't work in another, even with the same email or Apple ID. See Download the app and create your account.
No. Your Mayweather Patch account is created the first time you sign in with Apple or Google, or when you create one with your email. Then you connect it to your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness membership as a separate step. Your membership and billing stay with your gym. See Connect your gym membership.
Any of them, as long as you use the same one every time. If you sign in a different way, you can end up with a second, empty account. The Apple and Google buttons are in the iPhone app. On Android, tap Continue with email. See Signing in and password help.
Check your spam folder, and check the address on the "Check your email" screen. If the address is wrong, tap Change email. After 60 seconds you can tap Resend code, up to 3 times. Only the newest code works, and each code lasts 10 minutes. See Enter your 6-digit code.
On the sign-in screen, tap Use email instead, or Continue with email on Android. Then tap Forgot password. Open the emailed link on the phone that has Mayweather Patch. The link works once, for 30 minutes. If you sign in with Apple or Google, you don't have a password to reset. See Reset a forgotten password.
There's no way to change your password while you're signed in. To change it, sign out and follow the same steps. A reset signs you out on your other phones too. See Change your password.
Tap the circle with your initials at the top right of Home to open You. Under "Your name", type your first and last name, then tap Save name. The app doesn't show a confirmation, but your new name appears at the top of You. It's also the name your coach sees. See Change your name.
Connecting your gym
Once you connect, the classes you attend count toward your patches. Your gym team can also see your progress and review your requests. Until then, Home shows "Your classes are not counting yet." See Why connecting matters.
Your gym may have a different email address on file for you. Enter that address on "Find your gym" and confirm it with a code. Or tap Connect with staff and show the code to the front desk. Either way, the email you sign in with stays the same. See When the app can't find your membership.
It may have expired, been replaced or already been used. An invitation works once and expires 24 hours after it's sent. A newer invitation also replaces an older one. Ask your gym team to send you a new one. See Accept an emailed invitation.
Not in the app. Ask your front desk.
Classes
No. Once your gym is connected, the classes your gym records count on their own. You only log drills that have a Log a round button, and a logged round counts straight away, with no coach approval needed. See Classes count automatically.
Your gym's attendance reaches the program once a day, usually overnight, so today's class may not show until tomorrow. Train shows when attendance was last updated. Pulling down to refresh won't bring the class in any sooner. If a class is still missing a couple of days later, tell a coach. Your coach can add it for you, and it shows in your recent activity as "Class added by your coach". See How classes reach Train.
The program only counts classes from the time your gym attendance was connected. Classes from before that aren't included. See Your class count.
No. Book with Mayweather Boxing + Fitness the way you normally do. After your gym records the class, it appears on Train. See Train: your classes.
It counts the weeks in a row where you had at least two recorded classes. The current week joins your streak once you reach two. A week that isn't over yet never breaks it. See Your training record.
Patches and your working set
The badge is the digital award. You earn it the moment you finish a patch's last requirement. If that patch counts toward your belt, it counts right away. If your badge comes with a physical patch, you get that later: your coach checks it, then hands it to you at the gym. See Badge first, patch second.
It's how many requirements on that patch you haven't finished yet. It isn't a number of classes. Open the patch to see each requirement. See Reading the card.
There's a limit, and Choose a patch shows how much of it you're using, for example "3 of 5 in your working set". Paused and earned patches don't take up a spot. When your working set is full, swap a patch out or pause one. See Choose what to work on.
No. Your logged rounds, coach sign-offs and classes all stay. When you resume or restart the patch, you pick up where you left off. See Choose what to work on.
Class milestones and other recognition patches aren't listed, because they're earned, not chosen. Class milestones come automatically as you attend. Depending on your gym's program, your core-value patches may not be listed either. To see where a patch stands, open it from your Journey or your Locker. See Patches you won't find in the list.
"Comes after" means your gym's program runs in order, so earn the patch it names first. Classes you attend still count toward the waiting patch. "Unlocks at" means the patch belongs to a higher belt. You can work up to one belt above the belt you hold. See When a patch isn't open yet.
You can only log rounds and ask for sign-offs on patches in your working set. To add a patch, open it and tap Start working on this, or Resume if the patch is paused. Ask coach to sign off also needs a coach requirement that's still open. A requirement your coach checks never has a Log a round button. See Patch details.
No. The app has no undo for a logged round, so tap it only once you've done the drill. See Log a round.
Coach sign-offs
First, show the skill to a coach in class. Then open the patch, tap Ask coach to sign off, add a note if you like, and tap Send to coach. Your coach makes the call at the gym. See Ask a coach to sign off.
Once you've sent a request, you can't cancel or change it. The patch shows "Awaiting coach" until a coach decides. If you forgot to mention something, tell your coach in class.
A sign-off only ticks the requirements a coach checks. Open the patch to see what's still open, such as a drill to log or classes to attend. You earn the badge as soon as you finish those.
No. Your classes, logged rounds and finished requirements all stay. Open the patch to read your coach's reasons and note. Put in the reps, show the skill in class again, then tap Ask again. See When your coach sends it back.
Belts
Earn what your next belt needs in your gym's program. Some belts come with a set list of patches, called the path to that belt. If a belt like that has no test, it's awarded on its own as soon as you earn the last patch on its path, so you don't need to ask for it. Some belts also need a test with your coach. For those, the Your belt screen tells you when to ask your coach to schedule it, and the belt is yours once your coach records a pass. See Your belt and what comes next.
Your gym hasn't added that part of the program yet, so nobody can earn that belt for now. Your belt and your earned patches are safe. See When the next belt is coming soon.
No. Once a badge is yours, it stays yours. That holds even if your gym changes a patch's requirements later, or your coach marks the physical patch "Needs another look". The app never takes a belt away either.
Physical patches and celebrations
Open the patch and look under "Your patch".
"Patch: coach reviewing" means your coach is checking it.
"Patch: waiting with Coach" means it's ready, so collect it at your next class.
"Patch: handed over — confirm" means your coach has given it to you, and you need to confirm it.
"Patch received" means you've confirmed you have it.
On a badge you've earned, it means your coach wants to see the skill once more before handing over the physical patch. Your badge stays earned, so show the skill again in class. A notification that says "needs another look" can also be about a sign-off request. Open the patch to check which one it is. See If your patch needs another look.
Open the patch and tap I've got it. Until you do, the patch shows "Patch: handed over — confirm", and Home may show "Coach handed over your patch — confirm you got it". If you haven't actually received the patch, don't tap the button. Tell your coach instead. See Confirm you have your patch.
Not in the app. There's no setting for it.
No. Each celebration plays once, and there's no way to replay it. Afterwards, you'll find the patch in your Locker and on your Journey. See Celebrations.
Notifications and connection problems
Use your phone's Settings app, because Mayweather Patch has no notification switches of its own. On iPhone, if you tapped Don’t Allow the first time, the app won't ask again, so turn notifications on in Settings. See Turn notifications on or off later, and for Android phones, On Android.
Some badges arrive without a notification, such as ones that attendance updates complete overnight. To see them, open the app or pull down on Home. The celebration plays then. See Updates that arrive quietly.
The app couldn't connect, so you're seeing the last progress it loaded. Check your Wi-Fi or mobile data, then tap the banner. It goes away once the app reconnects. See Troubleshooting.
Your account and privacy
No. Your progress is saved with your account. Sign in again the same way as before and it will all be there. See Sign out or delete your account.
No. Deleting your Mayweather Patch account doesn't affect your membership or billing. Talk to your front desk about those. Deleting your account is permanent. See Delete your account.
At the bottom of the sign-in screen and at the bottom of You, tap Privacy policy, Help & support or Account deletion. You don't need to sign in to open them. See Contact, privacy and support.
Mayweather Patch gives some everyday words a specific meaning. This page explains each one in a sentence or two. Terms are grouped by topic and listed A to Z in each group. Text in quotes appears in the app exactly as written, and text like Log a round is a button.
Patches and badges
Term
What it means
Badge
The digital award for a patch. You earn it once every requirement on the patch is done, and it counts straight away, before you collect any physical patch.
Category
The group a patch belongs to, such as Technical, Striking or Ring IQ. It's the first part of the small line above a patch's name, and "Choose a patch" groups patches by it.
Class milestone
A recognition patch you earn when your class count reaches a set number, for example the sample program's 100 Class Patch. It counts up on its own as you train.
Coach pick
A patch your coach picks for you toward a belt. Some belts ask for a number of these, and only your coach can make the pick. Patches your coach can pick show "Coach-selectable" on their page and a gold star on your Journey. A place still waiting for your coach's pick reads "Your coach picks this".
"Comes after"
Shown under a patch's name when your gym's program runs in order. Earn the patch it names first. Classes you attend still count toward the patch that's waiting.
Core values
In programs that have them, patches named after your gym's core values, for example Belong in the sample program. Their page shows "Core values" at the start of the line above the patch name. They aren't listed in "Choose a patch". If you can start one, its own page has Start working on this.
Digital badge
A badge with no physical patch. If a badge has no physical patch, its page says "This is a digital badge. It counts toward your progress and has no physical patch to collect."
Earned
You hold the badge. It has a green check on your Journey and shows the date you earned it in your Locker. Once you earn a badge, nothing takes it back.
Metal back
The engraved back of a patch in the app. Drag across the patch or tap Turn badge to see it. It reads "IN THE MAKING" until you earn the patch, then "EARNED" and the date.
Patch
One award in your gym's program, with its own list of requirements. Tap any patch to open its page. See Patch details.
Physical patch
The real patch that comes with some badges. After you earn one of those badges, your coach checks the patch over and hands it to you at the gym. See Picking up your physical patches.
Recognition
Shown above the name of patches that mark how far you've come, such as class milestones. You earn these automatically. You can't choose them, and they never go in your working set.
Side quest
If your gym's program has them, an optional patch that goes with one of the main patches. Its page reads "Optional side quest · pairs with" and then the name of that patch, and its Locker tile has "Optional" under its status. You don't start a side quest or add it to your working set. Logging a round on it works only while its main patch is active in your working set. It's earned once its requirements are done, and its celebration reads "Side quest earned". Side quests never count toward a belt. On You, the Locker card counts them separately at the end of its line, for example "7 of 16 badges · 4 patches received · 1 side quest".
Skill patch
A patch you choose to work on. Recognition patches don't count as skill patches. The foot of your Journey counts your skill patches, for example "6 of 11 skill patches earned."
Sparring patch
A patch marked "Sparring" on its page, with a small boxing icon on your Journey. Some belts ask for a number of them.
Tier
The belt level set on a patch. It follows the category in the small line above the patch's name, for example "Striking · New Member tier". A patch that isn't set to a higher belt shows your program's starting point, as in that example. The tier doesn't tell you which belt's path a patch is on. Your belt and your Journey show that.
"Unlocks at"
Shown when a patch belongs to a belt more than one step above yours. You can work one belt ahead of the belt you hold, so the patch opens as you move up.
A green check marks a finished requirement, a seal marks one your coach signs off, and a pencil marks a drill you log yourself.
Term
What it means
"Awaiting coach"
You've sent a sign-off request and your coach hasn't decided yet. It shows on the patch, on Home and next to each coach requirement. Show the skill in class.
Caption
The small line under an unfinished requirement that names the type of work, such as "Drill", "Technique" or "Assessment". The type is only a label. The icon, and "Coach Signs Off" when it appears, tell you who completes the requirement.
Class requirement
A requirement with a calendar icon. It counts on its own from the classes Mayweather Boxing + Fitness records, even on patches you haven't started.
Coach requirement
A requirement with a seal or thumbs-up icon. Only your coach can complete it, and you can't tick it off yourself. Ask for a sign-off instead.
"Coach Signs Off"
The end of some captions, for example "Drill · Coach Signs Off". Only your coach can complete that requirement.
Log a round
The button under a drill you record yourself. Each tap adds one. You can't undo it, so tap it only after you've done the drill. It only appears on active patches in your working set.
Logged drill
A requirement with a pencil icon. You do the drill, then record it with Log a round. Your coach doesn't need to approve it.
Pass-off
Another word for a sign-off. You may hear it at the gym, and some requirement names may use it.
Percent complete
The average progress across all of a patch's requirements. A requirement you're partway through counts partly. Your Locker shows it as, for example, "40% complete", and Home shows "of the work done".
Reasons
The labels your coach picks when sending a request back: "Not yet consistent", "Technique needs work", "Have not seen it yet", "Wrong patch for this" or "Something else".
Requirement
One thing a patch asks for, listed under "Requirements" on the patch's page. A finished requirement shows a green check, and its name is crossed out. See Patch details for every icon.
"Sent back"
Your coach isn't ready to sign off yet. The patch shows their reasons and any note they wrote. Nothing is lost. Put in more practice, then tap Ask again.
Sign-off
Your coach's approval for requirements only a coach can judge. One sign-off covers every coach requirement on the patch, and they all tick off together. If nothing else is left, you earn the badge right then.
Sign-off request
What you send with Ask coach to sign off and then Send to coach on a patch's page, with an optional note. The patch must be active in your working set, and each patch can have only one request waiting. See Ask a coach to sign off.
"to go"
On Home, "3 to go" (any number) counts the requirements you haven't finished on a patch. It counts requirements, not classes.
A sent-back request shows your coach's reasons and note, with Ask again below them.
Term
What it means
Active
A patch in your working set that you're working on now. "Choose a patch" marks it "Working on it".
"Choose a patch"
The list where you start, resume and swap patches. Open it from the Choose a patch tile on Home or from an open slot on your Journey. See Choose what to work on.
Drop
Taking a paused patch off your list with Drop it. What you've already done is kept if you start the patch again later.
"Extra ·"
The start of the status line under some patches you're working on in your Journey, for example "Extra · Working on" or "Extra · Awaiting coach". It doesn't tell you whether the patch counts toward your next belt, and it can appear on a patch your next belt needs. The label doesn't change your progress, and the patch stays in your working set. Paused patches never show it. To see what your next belt asks for, check the "Next" row and Your belt. See Patches marked Extra.
Open slot
A dashed circle with a + on your Journey. It stands for something your next belt still needs that you haven't started. Tap it to open "Choose a patch", narrowed to that kind of patch. Class milestones and core-value patches aren't in that list. See Open slots.
Paused
A patch you've put on hold with Pause. It keeps all its progress and doesn't take up a place in your working set. Its page reads "Paused — nothing is lost. Pick it back up whenever you are ready."
Resume
Putting a paused patch back in your working set with Resume. It picks up where you left it.
Start
Adding a patch to your working set with Start working on this on its page, or the + in "Choose a patch".
Swap
Pausing one active patch and starting another in a single step with Swap this patch. It works even when your working set is full.
Working set
The patches you've chosen to work on. Only a set number can be active at once, and "Choose a patch" shows where you stand, for example "3 of 5 in your working set". Logging rounds and asking for a sign-off only work on active patches in your working set. Classes count toward every patch either way.
"Your next win"
The card at the top of Home. It features the active patch you're closest to finishing. If your gym's program marks some patches as filling a gap for your next belt, those come first.
The line under "Choose a patch" shows how much of your working set you're using, and each row shows that patch's state on the right.
Term
What it means
Belt
A rank you earn by meeting what your gym's program sets for it. You move up one belt at a time, and a belt you hold stays yours. See Your belt and what comes next.
Belt test
A test with your coach that some belts ask for. When you've met everything else, Your belt shows "Test eligible. Ask your coach to schedule it." Each test you've had shows as "Scheduled", "Passed", "Not yet", "Cancelled" or "No-show".
"Coming soon"
A belt your gym's program hasn't opened yet. Nobody can earn it until that part of the program is ready.
Gates
On Your belt, the other things a belt can ask for besides patches, such as "Classes", "Weeks as a member" or "Belt test". Your gym's program decides which ones apply.
New Member
The starting point in the sample program, before the first belt. It isn't on the ladder, but it can appear in the line above a patch's name, for example "Striking · New Member tier". Your gym's program may name its starting point differently.
"Next"
The belt you're working toward. It's labeled on Home, on your Journey and on Your belt. In some programs, Home labels it "First belt" until you earn your first one.
Path
The patches your next belt asks for, when your gym's program sets a list. See patches on your path on Your belt opens your Journey.
The ladder
The belts in your gym's program, in order, at the bottom of Your belt. The one you're working toward is marked "Next".
Weeks as a member
Whole weeks since your membership start date. Some belts and patches count them, and they add up on their own.
Term
What it means
"banked with Coach"
Shown as, for example, "1 of 3 patches banked with Coach" when your patches are being held so you can collect them together. There's nothing to do until the set is complete.
"Needs another look"
Your coach isn't ready to hand over the physical patch yet, and the patch's page shows their reason. Your badge stays earned, and there's nothing to tap. Show the skill again in class, and your coach releases the patch when they're ready.
"Patch: coach reviewing"
Your coach checks every patch over before handing it out. Your badge already counts.
"Patch: handed over — confirm"
Your coach has marked the patch as given to you. Tap I've got it once it's in your hands.
"Patch received"
You've confirmed you have the patch. There's nothing more to do.
"Patch: waiting with Coach"
Your patch is ready. Collect it at your next class.
Physical patches collected
The count of physical patches you've confirmed you have. Your Locker shows it as, for example, "4 physical patches collected", and You shows it as "patches received". It only goes up when you tap I've got it.
Pickup
Collecting a physical patch from your coach at the gym after you've earned its badge.
Pickup line
The line on Home and in your Locker when a patch is waiting for you or needs confirming, such as "Your patch is ready — see Coach at your next class".
"Your patch"
The section on an earned patch's page that shows where its physical patch is.
"Your patch" on two earned badges. Left: the patch is ready to collect. Right: your coach has held the patch back with a reason, and the badge still stands.
Term
What it means
Active day
A day with at least one recorded class. The Last 7 days card on Train counts active days, not classes, so two classes on one day count once.
Activity calendar
The "Activity" month view you open from Train. It highlights the days you trained. See Your activity calendar.
Attendance update
How your classes reach the program. New attendance comes in from your gym once a day, usually overnight. Train's status line shows when it last happened, for example "Attendance updated 9 hours ago".
"Class added by your coach"
A class your coach added to your count, for example one that didn't come through. It appears in "Recent activity" on Home.
ClubReady
The system your gym uses for memberships and attendance. The app names it where it shows how your attendance is connected.
Gym time
Your gym's time zone. Train and your activity calendar use it to decide which day a class falls on, even if your phone is set to another zone.
Not tracked
A day the program has no attendance data for, so it can't say whether you trained. It shows dashed in the Last 7 days card and dimmed in the calendar.
Program classes
The class count your gym's program uses, shown on Home. Train shows the same number as "Classes in your program". It counts classes since your gym attendance was connected to the program, so it can be lower than your gym's own total.
"Recent activity"
The last section of Home, listing your three newest events, such as "Attended a class" with "+1 class · 104 total".
Recorded class
A class your gym has marked as completed, or one your coach added. Train lists each one as "Completed class" with "Recorded".
Rest day
A day your gym's attendance covers with no class recorded. It shows as a gray pill with a small dot in the Last 7 days card, and the calendar says "No recorded visits".
Weekly streak
Weeks in a row with at least two recorded classes, shown on Home as a number and a W, such as "41W". The current week joins once you reach two classes, and a week that isn't over yet never breaks your streak.
"Program classes", "Badges earned" and "Weekly streak" sit under the card at the top of Home.
Term
What it means
"Also in progress"
The row on Home with your other active patches. When the card above is your only active patch, the row is titled with your count instead, for example "Working on · 1 of 5".
Belt band
On your Journey, a tinted band for each belt you've reached. It holds the patches you earned while you held that belt. The band for your current belt also holds what you're working on and the open slots.
"Beyond the belt"
The strip at the foot of your Journey. It lists patches you earn on their own and haven't earned yet, such as class milestones. Its note says they never count toward a belt, but your gym's program decides what each belt needs, so check Your belt before you rely on that. See Beyond the belt.
Celebration
The full-screen moment when you earn a badge or a belt. A badge you earned while the app was closed celebrates the next time you open the app. Tap Continue to close it. See Celebrations.
"Earned"
The Locker section with the badges you hold, newest first. It's also a filter at the top of the Locker.
Home
The first tab. It shows your next win, your training record, your other active patches, your belt and your recent activity. See Your Home screen.
"In progress"
The Locker section with the patches in your working set. It's also a filter at the top of the Locker.
Journey
The second tab. It shows your path through the program as a trail, one belt at a time. See Your Journey.
Locker
The last tab. It holds every patch in your gym's program. See Your Locker.
Patch page
The page that opens when you tap any patch. It shows the patch, its requirements and your next step. Tap the X at the top left to close it.
"Ready to start"
The Locker section with patches that are open to you but not in your working set. Paused patches show here too, and so do class milestones you haven't earned, unless another patch has to come first.
"Still to come"
The Locker section with patches that aren't open to you yet, because another patch comes first or they belong to a higher belt.
"The bigger picture"
The belt card on Home. Tap it to open Your belt.
The trail
The dashed line that joins the patches on your Journey in the order you reached them.
Train
The third tab. It shows the classes the program has recorded for you. See Train: your classes.
Where you are
The largest patch on your Journey, with a pulsing ring. It's the same patch Home features. When it's off screen, Jump to where you are scrolls back to it.
You
Your profile and settings. Tap the circle with your initials at the top right of Home. See Your profile and settings.
Your belt
The screen that opens from the belt card on Home. It shows the belt you hold, what your next belt still needs and the ladder.
Term
What it means
"Connect attendance"
Shown on You when your account already belongs to Mayweather Boxing + Fitness but your ClubReady attendance isn't linked yet. You can work on patches and ask for sign-offs, and classes your coach adds still count, but check-ins don't come through on their own. See Connect your gym membership.
Connect your gym
Linking your app account to your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness membership so your classes count. Until you do, Home shows "Connect your gym" and "Your classes are not counting yet."
Connection code
The QR code and 8-character code on "Show this to staff". Staff scan it or type it in to connect you. Each code lasts 10 minutes, and leaving the screen cancels it.
Delete account
Removes your account and sign-in for good and anonymizes your profile. You can't undo it, and it doesn't cancel your gym membership or billing. See Sign out or delete your account.
"Find your gym"
The screen where you choose your gym and enter the email on your gym membership, then tap Connect membership.
Gym team
The coaches and staff at Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. They review your sign-off requests, get your patches ready and can connect your membership.
Invitation
An email from your gym with a link that connects your account. It works once and expires 24 hours after it was sent.
"Last refreshed"
Shown at the bottom of You: when the app last loaded your progress. That's separate from when your gym's attendance last updated.
Offline banner
The banner at the top of the screen when the app can't reach the server, such as "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry." The app keeps showing your last saved progress until it reconnects.
Sign out
Signs you out on this phone. Your progress stays saved, and it's all there when you sign in again.
Verification code
The 6-digit code sent to your email to confirm an address. It works once. It expires after 10 minutes.
Your gym's app
Each gym brand has its own app, and yours is Mayweather Patch. Your account works only in your gym's app. An account from another brand's app gets "This account belongs to another brand. Open that brand’s app to continue."
Your gym's program
The patches, requirements and belts Mayweather Boxing + Fitness uses. It can change without an app update, and the app picks up changes on its own.
Your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness team can help with most things about your classes and patches. For problems with Mayweather Patch itself, email app support. The help, privacy and account deletion pages are always a tap away, even when you're signed out.

Find the help links in the app
Three links, Privacy policy, Help & support and Account deletion, sit at the bottom of the sign-in screens and at the bottom of You.
1
If you're signed out, look at the bottom of the sign-in screen.
You don't need an account to open the links.
The three links sit under the sign-in buttons.
2
If you're signed in, go to Home and tap your initials at the top right.
The You screen opens.
Your initials at the top right of Home open the You screen.
3
Scroll to the bottom of You.
The three links sit under the Account section, above the status lines.
4
Tap Privacy policy, Help & support or Account deletion.
The page opens in your phone's web browser, outside the app.
If your phone can't open a link, the app shows "Could not open this page. Visit" followed by the page's web address and "in your browser." You can select that address, copy it and paste it into your browser.
How to contact app support, signing in and resetting your password, connecting your gym, missing classes or patches, deleting your account, and membership and billing questions.
What happened. Say what you tapped, what you expected and what you saw instead. Add the date and roughly what time it happened.
The exact words of any message. Banners at the top of the screen, such as "Can’t reach the server — showing what we last saw. Tap to retry.", say what went wrong. Copy them word for word. Some banners disappear after a few seconds, so take a screenshot or note the words straight away.
Your account email, if the problem is about your account. It's under Sign out on You. If you chose Hide My Email when you signed up with Apple, it shows Apple's private relay address. Send that address, because that's the one your account uses.
How you sign in: with Apple, with Google, or with an email and password.
The status lines at the bottom of You, if the problem is about your classes or progress. One says when the app last refreshed, for example "Last refreshed Today · 7:35 PM". Another says how your gym is connected, for example "Attendance updated 3 hours ago". See Your profile and settings.
A screenshot, if it helps show the problem. Check that it doesn't show a password or a code first.
Banners at the top of the screen say what went wrong, so copy their exact words into your email.
Find the app version
The app doesn't show its version number, but your phone does.
iPhone: open Settings, tap General, then iPhone Storage, and tap Mayweather Patch. The version number is near the top of that page.
Android: open Settings, tap Apps, then tap Mayweather Patch. On some phones you tap See all apps first. The version is usually near the bottom of the app's page. Menus vary from phone to phone.
If you can't find it, tell support roughly when you last updated the app.
The privacy policy explains in plain language how the Patch Program apps handle your information. It took effect on September 16, 2026. The apps are operated by Giant Brands LLC. Read the full policy through Privacy policy in the app, or at patch-program.vercel.app/privacy.
Here's a summary:
Ages 13 and older. You confirm you're 13 or older when you create an account. The app doesn't ask for your date of birth.
What the app keeps. Your name, account email and how you sign in, your gym and coach, and your progress. Progress means your classes, the patches you're working on, badges, belts, sign-off requests and the notes you send, and patch pickups. Once your gym membership is connected, the app uses your gym's attendance records to count your classes.
What it doesn't collect. Your gym's billing card details, the password for your gym membership, or your location. The app doesn't connect to Apple Health. There's no advertising, no selling of your data and no tracking across other apps.
Your phone number, if your gym added it. When your gym team invites you by hand, they can add a phone number. It's optional. If they did, it's saved when you accept the invitation. In the app, only staff at your gym can see it, so they can call you. You won't see it in your own app. Deleting your account removes it from your profile.
Who can see your information. Authorized staff at your gym see what they need to help you, sign off your skills and hand over your patches. Program administrators manage the program and handle corrections. The companies that host the service, send account emails, deliver notifications and diagnose crashes handle only the data they need for that work.
Camera. As a member, the app never asks for your camera. When you connect with staff, they scan the code on your screen or type it in on their own phone. The app doesn't upload photos or record audio.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, your phone is registered to your account so the app can tell you about your patches and requests. You can turn them on or off in your phone's settings. See Notifications.
Crash reports. If the app crashes or freezes, it can send a technical report with details such as the app version, your phone model and the error. The report doesn't include your account, name, email, the notes you write or pictures of your screen.
A secure connection. The app sends your information over an encrypted connection.
Privacy requests
To ask about your information, have something corrected or request deletion, email app support. Support may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
If you think a child under 13 has an account, contact app support so it can be looked into.
You can delete your account in two ways:
In the app. On You, tap Delete account, read the explanation, then tap Delete my account.
By email. Tap Account deletion, then tap the email address under "Request deletion without the app". Your mail app opens a message with the subject "Patch Program account deletion request". Send it from the email address on your account. Say that you want your account deleted, and name each gym app you want it deleted from. Support may ask you to confirm the account is yours.
If you chose Hide My Email when you signed up with Apple, your account uses an Apple relay address instead of your own email. If you email support, include the relay address shown under Sign out on You. Deleting in the app is usually simpler, because you can still sign in with Apple.
Each gym app has its own account, so deleting your Mayweather Patch account doesn't delete any others.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness membership or billing. Talk to the front desk for that.
After you delete, your sign-in is removed and your profile no longer shows your name or phone number. Your classes, badges and coach decisions stay in your gym's records without your name. Some older notes and invitation records may still include personal information. If you want those reviewed, email app support.
Your gym team is the right place to start. They can check the attendance your gym recorded, review sign-offs and make corrections. Email app support if the app itself isn't working.
No. Your membership and billing stay with your gym. Talk to your Mayweather Boxing + Fitness front desk.
By email. Tap Help & support at the bottom of You or the sign-in screen, then tap the email address under "Contact app support". See Contact app support. For your classes, patches or membership, talk to your gym in person.
The app only has your phone number if your gym team added it when they invited you. In the app, only staff at your gym can see it, so they can call you. You won't see it in your own app, and you can't change it there. Deleting your account removes it from your profile. The invitation your gym sent may still include it, so email app support if you want that reviewed.
Yes. The Help & support, Privacy policy and Account deletion links are at the bottom of the sign-in screen. You don't need to sign in to use them. See Signing in and password help for sign-in problems.
The same support address covers all three gym apps. In your email, name every app the problem affects, because each app has its own account.
Not everything. Your sign-in is removed and your profile no longer shows your name. Your progress history stays in your gym's records without your name, and some older notes may still contain personal information. Crash reports and backups are cleared on the service providers' usual schedules, and the privacy policy doesn't promise a fixed deadline for complete erasure. Email app support if you want retained records reviewed.
Turn them off for Mayweather Patch in your phone's settings. The app has no notification switches of its own. See Notifications.
